The Boss is Accused

Some years ago, this pretty, "morena," beauty pageant winner was not yet a popular singer (PS) that she is today. One day, she made an inquiry about a unit in a particular condominium project somewhere in the south. She got interested and wanted to buy. Expectedly, she did call attention being pretty that she was. During the processing of the transaction, one of those who "noticed" her was the owner/developer himself (OD). A woman admirer to the hilt, the much-married OD got attracted to her. Not long after, romance bloomed.

Consequently, company insiders were abuzzed about the affair. They maliciously made fun of the OD and PS and confirmed that it wasn't just the sale transaction that pushed thru but something more than met the eye. PS and OD soon found themselves really in love. But owing to OD's marital status and the business image that he had to consider, both OD and PS couldn't go public about their relationship.

So in order to satisfy their yearning for each other, they went on frequent trips abroad. It was in one of those trips where it was alleged that PS got pregnant. Both OD and PS hid her condition until she eventually gave birth abroad.

To this day that she is already known in the music world, she hasn't admitted anything regarding the matter. As to her relationship with OD? They had since parted ways.

Can you identify who PS is? Did she or did she not have a love child with OD? Please abide by the RULES in writing comments if you want me to post them. Initials and comments that are too explicit will not be accepted.

Another Painful Story of a Failing Business

Every so often, stories about the ups and downs of celebrities are either inspiring or frustrating. Most viewers love watching how a small player rises from being a nobody to one that is famous and respected. One sector that is full of such stories is the fashion and beauty industry. Most of today's successful beauty experts began from the lowest of ranks and moved up because of hard work and celebrity endorsements.

This hairstylist icon (HI) began her career with help from a family member. Unlike other stylists, HI was studying in a university when she realized she had the talent for making people beautiful with her scissors. While working in a salon, HI eventually started earning recognition for her name and the salon in the mid 80s. HI became quite famous and celebrities flocked to the family-owned salon. HI gave back to the community by establishing a school and imparting her knowledge through hair clinics.

Business was booming then. However, things did not turn out for the best. Sometime ago, HI bought a mansion in an exclusive subdivision and lived a lifestyle fit for her status. Then, business became bad. Other salons and hairstylists came into the picture. Added to this development is the proliferation of salons that offered cheaper rates. Hence, the business of HI suffered. Coupled with a lavish lifestyle and a failing business, HI had to choose. Out of the six branches, three were closed down because rent could not be paid. Then, the employees started to receive their salaries late, and their contributions were not remitted to the SSS. The turn of events is quite sad because the welfare of the employees was compromised. Perhaps, HI can live a less lavish life, and adjust to the times. Although, HI is an established name, there are younger and more creative talents in the industry who can very well be her competition and cut into her business.

Do you know who HI is? Please abide by the RULES in writing comments if you want me to post them. Initials and comments that are too explicit will not be accepted.

His Mock Collection

Clothes, bags, shoes, and baseball caps are the most common things celebrities collect because of their practical use and status symbol. Owning authentic clothes, designer bags, shoes, etc…create a certain image for the celebrity owner. Not only does he/she have bragging rights about knowing which brands and styles are in or out, the celebrity also gives the impression that he/she has the purchasing power to be fashionable. Now, the critical part happens when a celebrity is innocently caught not knowing what is authentic or not. Take the case of this actor-dancer (AD) of a big network. Other than being talented on the dance floor and having no qualms about being open to transforming his image onscreen, AD is known for his shoe collection.

In a TV guesting, AD casually said that he has close to 200 pairs of such shoes. Then, he was asked where he purchased his shoes. AD replied that he bought shoes online. That would have been a good answer already. However, AD was probably overwhelmed with his online shopping spree that he started to elaborate that he was so convinced in the seller because of the quality, brand, and the price. AD continued with pride that the seller had low prices compared to other stores. During the interview, AD said he was waiting for his order of almost 50 pairs!

The problem is that the site allegedly sells knock-offs of branded shoes. Did AD know that part of his collection could be fake and that all along, he might have been wearing Class A shoes thinking they were authentic? Instead of gaining admiration, AD is getting disappointing comments about wearing and owning such shoes in his collection. Being a celebrity, AD should lead in advocating authentic products, rather than brag about collecting very close replicas. As AD matures in the industry, he should also be more conscious of what he wears so he can add some class to his waning status.

Can you identify who AD is? Please abide by the RULES in writing comments if you want me to post them. Initials and comments that are too explicit will not be accepted.

The Young Fellow and the Kissing Bandit

These two young newbies, YN1 and YN2, created their own set of intrigues by their behavior in a reality show. While the reality show prides itself in choosing its contestants based on a set of strict guidelines, a few days after the show started, pictures came out establishing that the two young newbies and another contestant (AC) are friends. This development broke the practice viewers have been used to, that is—participants should be strangers.

Since early into its airing, the show has been receiving flak for being too open in discussing taboo topics, and behaving in unbecoming ways. These behaviors were disturbing because most of the show’s viewers are teens, which can be very impressionable with what they watch. One incident showed YN1 and YN2 kissing because of a game in the show. Despite the context, their kissing video went viral. Some viewers found it “yucky,” while others rooted for the gay angle in the show. Prior to this incident, YN1 and AC were already chummy and touchy with each other. Some viewers tagged them as involved in a “bromance.”

It seems that after the unexpected kissing incident, the show is more careful with what it airs. Hence,
the second incident of YN1 and YN2 did not go viral as their first incident. YN1 and YN2 were seen doing something to relieve certain physical urges. Although this activity is normal, especially with teenage boys, showing it actually done on air will certainly violate television guidelines.

Consistent with his behavior on the show, YN1 is ready to pucker up as seen in these photos. Is YN1 merely friendly or a disrespectful kissing bandit? Also, YN1, YN2, and AC are quite comfortable with one another. Why was the network lenient in this season’s edition by allowing friends to join?

Can you identify the two young newbies in this story? Please abide by the RULES in writing comments if you want me to post them. Initials and comments that are too explicit will not be accepted.
