Me cringing on photos or videos of people crying, hugging, with touching caption. It's either they had it on monopod stick then they hugged and cried or they have a media team with them.
Or a family member who cares enough to document a milestone. Wtf is wrong with you? When my husband and I dropped off our only child to Uni, I took a photo of him hugging our kid goodbye. Whats wrong with that? Ndi ka mahal ng parents mo no?
For us parents who are very hands- on sa pagpalaki ng mga anak, yes this is a huge deal.
1:11 Why OA eh family event yan sending a kid. off to college and an emotional one dahil dati sa parents nakatira now mag dorm na and won’t see their kid until holiday at less and less ang uwi nyan dahil they are gaining more independence and carving their own path and instead tumambay sa bahay most college kids in the USA are working part time .some maintain a part time job the entirety of college dahil culture sa USA not to depend. on their parents when they reach certain age wala ng time to bond with parents either you are insensitive or wala kang alam.
Hehe Seriously, cringe and very attention seeking talaga yung mga sinishare yung ganitong private moments sa socmed. Normal lang naman ang magtake ng photo and video for remembrance pero yung ishare pa sa socmed?
ganyan talaga sa US big deal pag hihiwalay na ang isang anak for college dorm lalo na kung close-knit ang family...at least we get a glimpse of Lea Salonga's private life na hindi niya basta basta shine-share...ipinapakita lang ang pagmamahal ng ina sa mahihiwalay na anak...makinood na lang tayo at wag nang mambash pa...
Looks like one of the dorms in UC

ReplyDeleteIts a milestone. You drop off your kid to board at their residential college and it’s bittersweet because its essentially the start to adulthood.
Deletepalibhasa di mo naranasan magaral sa malayo at mahomesick.

DeleteTheir culture is different from ours and the kid is probably miles from home. Leaving for college is a milestone worth celebrating for them.
