Preventing a Rebellion

The public often praised Actor Parent (AP) for raising Talented Beauty (TB). Growing up, TB was exposed to fame as AP was visible in the entertainment industry. Naturally, people were curious about TB. They wanted to see if TB were to follow in the steps of her family.

TB followed her own compass. AP apparently did not influence TB to walk in the same path as her elders. Moreover, TB was independent in making decisions for her future. She was indeed growing up beautifully at her own pace.

Still, some people wondered how AP managed to keep TB in tow amidst the temptations in her environment. They thought of how the image of AP as a disciplinarian impacted on TB. AP gave TB freedom to explore life but his reigns still kept her within distance.

One day, people were very surprised to see TB hanging out with Controversial Dude (CD). Using the excuse of TB and CD running in similar circles, kibitzers did not bother. Besides, no one was brave enough to ask AP about TB and CD. However, the frequency of seeing TB and CD together led to the conclusion that the two were together.

Yet, people continued to wonder why AP allowed TB to be with CD, who allegedly was a walking red flag. Hence, the conclusion was ‘fear.’ AP feared TB might shift to her rebel mode if he interfered with love. Rather than risk a huge right or even a possible quick marriage, AP allowed TB and CD to explore life together. Of course, fear can also be hovering around CD as breaking TB’s heart can earn him AP’s wrath.
