The key is to keep investing in areas with growth potential while being more disciplined with costs..
OK, if I understand this correctly, they're revenue is down by 17%? And their losses is almost a billion more than last year!! If they're banking on Bini, look at ticketmaster. You can tell this company is barely hanging by a thread.
sold out po yun 2 days concert nila sa moa before sila mag world tour,.Sold out din pati sa Cebu. Hindi man sold out lahat yun sa world tour but the sales are okay. In between world tour, may festival pa sa Japan.
5:45 even with moderately successful tour that's not enough to offset the company's huge losses. Not hating on Bini btw mahirap lang talaga bitbitin financial problems ng ABS
5:45 Good for them is its sold out. I read a post na may receipts saying only one out of all their world tour locations actually sold. All others are abysmal at best and some were actually canceled. I think more than the sales, yung problem is abs is working them to the ground.
The question is... why is ABS-CBN reporting their financial situation on their website? :D :D :D You never see Google or Meta doing the same thing ;) ;) ;)
Even GMA does the same. Public talaga ang financial statements ng publicly listed companies sa pinas because required silang mag-disclose sa SEC/PSE so ABS-CBN reporting its net income or loss is standard financial disclosure, not some unusual move.
Hayaan nyo ang mga lopez sa pera nila ke malugi sila ginusto naman nila yan Basta importante may mga tao na may work parin, nagbenta nga sila ng shares nila to save abs cbn wala. Sila pake sa gastos haha
Yung owners nga walang paki sa pagkalugi e Nagbenta pa ng shares ng family company nila just to save abs cbn Wag na kayo mag alala mayaman ang mga lopez, they have money to burn and ginusto nila yan Gusto nga bilhin ni gabby lopez ang shares nila ramon ang sa Rockwell corporation nila e
Maraming subsidiaries ang Lopezes, ABS-CBN just happens to be one of them. And while this is where a lot of revenue used to come from, ang laki rin ng investment na nire-require.
So even with good intentions of wanting to continue the legacy of the 1st generation Eugenio Lopez, on being In The Service of the Filipino, the 3rd generation cousins no longer see that same vision and mission and have ought to also look into more practical and revenue generating measures. Yan ang reality nila kasi ngayon.
ABS CBN needs to cut its cost drastically. They will continue to keep bleeding if they keep continuing in this trajectory. 1H 2026 na lugi ka ng P1.86Bn? Tapos may utang ka pa na P10Bn? Tapos negative na equity mo? It's a disaster.

DeleteProbably had to post financial disclosures because of laws sa Pilipinas? I know gma has to make theirs public too.
DeleteFor shareholders and the public malamang.
DeleteThey want BINI to be global ngani. Also, may nangyayari naman na with Coachella and Summer Sonic.
DeleteNet loss seems high...
ReplyDeleteWala silang kita sa PBB? Weh.
Palugi talaga lol

ReplyDeleteNothing beats desperation and hopelessness by citing that you can recover from your P1.86Bn loss from Bini ticket sales. The delusion is real.
ReplyDeleteMasyado quixotic ang utak ng mga lopezes. Regardless the outcome, they are willing to gamble big time just to resurrect the dead dragon
