Nonchalant Acceptance

When some netizens decided to have a meal in a restaurant in a posh mall, little did they know that they would have a time to remember with Ageless Actress (AA). The friends prepared for a quiet get-together but their meal time was disturbed by the chatter of AA with her amigas.

Without wanting to eavesdrop, the friends could not help it as AA spoke like she was alone. The topic was highly relevant and timely. AA was talking about the flood control controversy. Having lived throughout several Philippine presidents and mingled with politicians of all affiliations, AA had a mouthful.

AA admitted that she wondered why the flood control was creating much fuss as corruption has always been part of the past administrations. It was like a normal thing already. She further added that she heard about vacations of friends from the government that were taken left and right in certain locations. Surely, AA wasn’t just speaking about hearsay as her family has so many influential connections. Even AA has her own circle as a former lover was quite close to the powers that be.

The unwanted talks disappointed the netizens as they felt AA was a passive enabler amidst the ongoing corruption.
