The Philippines need to go ahead with legalizing divorce. It will protect women/men and their children from having to live with abusers and lack of financial support from their parents.
May tito ako na married for decades at meron siyang longtime mistress. Naghiwalay sila ng misis niya nung nalaman yung existence nung babae. Akala naman nung babae pakakasalan siya once maghiwalay yung mag-asawa. Naghiwalay rin sila nung mistress and eventually my uncle moved on to a new relationship at pinakasalan niya ang bago. That's why, ladies, don't depend your future nor waste your life on a married man. They won't choose you.
Utang na loob, make divorce legal in the Philippines. Hindi makatarungan yung makulong sa marriage na neither parties want anymore and have moved on separately.
