Syempre may purpose yung OGTT. Na siguro feeling niya kaya niyang ayusin thru diet and exercise.

    1. Tama lng na mgreact mga doctors sa post nya kc well-known nman cyang media personality, she's a veteran sa field.at sa Gma pa na mas kilala sa public affairs programs nila.

Pinapalabas nya kase na yung test is something nega.

    4. hmmmm, wag kami, Mav!

    5. Yung post nya is negating the test. Which is hnd tama kasi tong test na to is Very important sa mga buntis because it can give complications to both mom and the baby if hindi natest at positive pla. Mga ganitong bagay sana keep it to yourself nlang, lalo na public figure sya and considering na reporter pa sya.

    6. Mali pa rin yun sinabi niyang isang set up yun test to fail. She should know better.May impact yan sa ibang taong naniniwala sa kanya.

Feeling daw nya its designed to fail. Dba dapat sila yung unang nagchecheck ng facts. Nagrere search? Obviously hindi nya ginawa research nya. May pa feel feel pa. Sorry im not sorry. Hindi nakakatulong sa lipunan feeling mo !

Sus. Much ado about NOTHING

    11. 8:06 sinabi ko bang naminiwala ako? Sinasabi ko madami jan pwedeng mainpluwensyahan nya. Hay! Daming… hmp

  2. Hayaan nyo na, pregnancy hormones siguro lol

  3. It's just right na nagreact ang mga doctor. Gestational diabetes is very dangerous lalo na sa baby. Kapag ganito ang pinost niya, people will question the credibility of the test at hindi nila seseryosohin ang GD. Lalo na sa Pilipinas na walang tiwala sa authority figures ang mga tao, in this case sa mga medical professionals.

  4. Agree with the comment up
While her intention was to vent, she touched on a subject which creates a concern whether the OGTT is a valid test.

Sabi niya she feels annoyed dahil feeling niya yung pinapagawa sa kanya is set up to make her fail dahil may fasting at iinom ng matatamis blah blah

There you go. Even if she inserted “she feels”, she put out a concern to those pregnant mommies.

At dahil may platform siya, she has wider reach. Hence tama lang ang ginawa ng mga nasa medical field to correct her misconception which can also end miscommunication to those who read her post

    Just accept the blunder, Mav

  5. Reporter kc cya kaya dapat may social responsibility cya. Nagbasa muna dapat cya bago cya magpost

  6. Think first before you post. Feeding wrong information or misinformation based on ignorance is not an excuse especially when it comes to health matters.

  7. Nagkaroon din ako ng gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. Nakakainis talaga yan.

  8. I totally refute her claim. First-hand experience: First pregnancy, I had OGTT and didn't have gestational diabetes. But with my second pregnancy, I did. Therefore, I can personally attest that the OGTT is not set for pregnant women to fail but rather to help them providing necessary precautions during pregnancy.
Great power (including media personality) comes with great responsibility.

Yung OB niya should have explained it to her every step of the way.

    1. She posted her rant on social media instead of asking her OB? Lol

  12. Reporter ito??? Hindi man lang nagresearch?

I’m in the healthcare sector dito sa US at naiintindihan ko ang confusion niya. It should be an opportunity for the doctor to teach and correct any misinformation, minus the condescending remarks.

    1. Edi dapat sa doctor siya mismo nagtanong about her concerns hindi yung nag-rant siya sa social media. Kaloka 🙄

    3. @3:32 pm..malaki ang sphere of influence niya since showbiz personality siya..mabigat yung binitawan nya na statements which can lead to confusion..bago rin siya dapat nag rant dapat she did her research muna..kung sa kanila nga may tinatawag na responsible journalism which she did not practice at all kasi it was done out of emotional bias..

    4. OP Reporter sya with a degree in communication meaning 4 years nyang pinag aralan at experts sya sa COM and what a lethal disinformation or harmless hanas will do, bread and butter nya ang mag research, magtanong at i educate and spread true facts sa media , we put her on a different STANDARD dahil media personality sya she has a wider reach dala nya name ng GMA with her every move dahil identify sya as such hindi ang i confuse ang tao. We are allowed to vent freely like any frustrated human, do it in private groups if she wants to turn off her media persona or the big responsibility of media scrutiny.

    5. 6:13 and 8:20 andami niyong problema wala ba kayong life outside of Mav's post? And no one is perfect, lahat nagkakamali.

  14. Ang sagwa naman talaga ng lasa nun! Yuck! You have to undergo that test kung may gestational diabetes ka and you can't do anything about it. Dami agad nag react at nagmamagaling. Kayo kaya uminom nun not once but twice.

    1. Nope, it wasn't educational because she was not trying to educate.

  16. Thanks, Mav, sa posting mo of your concern about ogtt. Your reaction and concern about the ogtt procedure is just normal. Your questioning of the validity of the steps and the responses of the doctors educated a lot of people. Continue your good work and take care!
