I remember na beauty queen siya during her UP college years tapos boyfriend niya si Benjie Paras na MVP ng UAAP. They made a very strikingly and handsome couple. Nakakalungkot, too soon to go. Rest in peace, Sarah Jane.
She’s one of my favorite 80s beauty queens while growing up, Sara Jane, Pebbles de Asis, Gem Padilla and Joyce Ann Burton. She was very graceful and beautiful. RIP Sara Jane 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Bigla ko syang na alala a few days ago and looked for her IG account. 😞
she was my dorm mate in UP during her reign and when she was still with Benjie Paras. she was gorgeous but was very simple and friendly. she would line up to buy putok (tinapay) and watch tv along with everyone else. She and Benjie made a stunning couple. RIP.
Oh. So gwapo pala si Benjie Paras noon? Di ko kasi alam eh. Born 1988 ako. Ang naabutan kong Benjie Paras yung kalbo na siya at medyo hawig si Dong Abay. Di rin kasi ako mahilig sa basketball. Nakikita ko lang siya as an actor and alam ko dati siyang basketball player.
Maybe sobrang dagdag sa appeal niya yung galing sa basketball. If I'm not mistaken, siya ang first rookie MVP sa PBA. Yung first year niya pa lang sa PBA tapos MVP kaagad is quite remarkable.
I remember her speaking fluent Spanish during the Q&A portion of Bb. Pilipinas. The winners that year were all achievers. Kasama nya si Lia Andanar who was crowned Bb. Pilipinas International if I’m not mistaken. RIP Sara Jane
