In my opinion, she wasn’t the most deserving winner that year. There were candidates who were more articulate, more confident, had stronger academic and professional backgrounds, and possessed more natural beauty. Her Q&A showed visible nervousness, and her answer felt memorized despite the question being very common and predictable. Even the Steve Harvey ‘mistake’ felt less like a simple error and more like a media moment that worked politically keeping Miss Universe in headlines and capitalizing on the Philippines’ gullibility and massive pageant following to drive ratings. Still, credit where it’s due: the title clearly opened doors for her, shaped a new career path, and changed her life for the better.
At bakit hindi? Pinaghirapan nya yan. Parang yan ang PhD nya, masteral etc. Ilang beses nga nag fail before making it. Talagang gagatasan nya yan noh, echuserang to. 4 lang sila dito sa Pilipinas meron nyan. 4 lang sila may karapatang gatasan yang korona na yan.
Of course! Kasi nuon walang tiwala sknya at binabash pa sya. E hindi sya sumuko. At malaking karangalan yan. Hindi tulad sa iba na wala namang ambag pilit lang na pinapasikat.
