The line na “Ang mamatay ng dahil sayo” do not apply to us bec we believe in the oneness of Allah and to die for his cause only. Personally, nakatayo lang alo during flag ceremony but I do not sing nor put my hand on my chest kasi alam kong bawal. Also, hindi naiiwan ang religion kapag nasa opisina so wag sana sabihin ng iba na magkaiba dapat. Muslims are the servants of Allah swt before being a public servant.
Freedom of religion is protected in the constitution. As such, a supreme court decision has also affirmed in its ruling that exercise of religion is above any rules on the national anthem or saluting the flag.
AND i agree with you.... kasama ang religion everywhere that is why dapat may Catholic symbols and Sacramentals pa din sa govt offices... as long as di obligado other religions to genuflect or make the sign of the cross. peace po!
Yikes!
ReplyDeletePero at least they are accountable enough to apologize and admit na nagkamali sila
