    2. shortlisted means considered from a large group.. may mga movies na mas deserving sa Hello Love Again.
Hindi OA ang reaction. Indeed including HLA is outrageous.

  5. Dapat dito palang filtered na ang entries. Box Office doesn't mean it's a good movie.

  6. Shameless in terms of quality, etc. choices HLG and Sunshine. Di yan taga mo sa bato. Filipino films are below mediocre.

    1. Kala ko ba mganda ang Sunshine?

    5. Lol at 12:30 try watching Thailand films and commercials and see kung gano kalayo when it comes to a mature storyline na hindi lang pa-memes lahat. Green Bones and the Magellan are the better films of the lot. As long as loveteam culture pa rin ang Pinoy, we aren't going to evolve. You can select the good actors here na mostly have passed their time. Konting pasimple lang, and not so much funfare. Compare mo yung How to Make Millions before your Grandma Dies and the quality of the story sa pakilig ng HLA. We are catching up on the aesthetics and creatives but if your story doesn't relate, wala yan. HLA is a good film by our standards and I won't deny that. Pero Oscars? Unless we are prepared to have our culture criticized (which alam naman natin dyan bagsak tayo), then we will never be ready kahit buong MMFF list ang isubmit natin for International Film. Dba ang common crtique sa mga Flipino films e it loves telling people how to feel? Anyway, good luck to all the films but it aint crab mentality.

Word of mouth. Hindi siya hard sell

    2. Fireflies! Based sa story ng Loboc Children's Choir and my Auntie Alma Fernando Taldo!

  9. Dapat yung balota yung sinali rin. Sensitive ang OSCAR s politics. Baka manalo p

  10. Lav Diaz!! Magellan!!

  11. Praying for Song of Fireflies, boholano pride

    1. Sakto lang. Not Oscar material.

      Delete
    4. Agree, parang tagpi tagpi plot fr other films.

  20. Greenbones and Firefly!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Walang papasok diyan.

    ReplyDelete

Acting-wise, superb. Kwento? Very predictable.

    ReplyDelete
  24. sunshine or food delivery

    ReplyDelete
Second choice is Greenbones

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hello?! Hello, Love Again?! Wth? Not a basher, real talk lang. Una need nila malaking pera or budget to lobby a movie.

  29. Nothing worth watching sa HLA except some beautiful Canadian scenery. Acting & plot so mediocre.
