Ang totoo, this PR fire could have been prevented kung nag-effort sila ng maayos na presscon, interview, or kahit simpleng video to clear their side. Public perception is everythinga at kung hindi mo siya aayusin, tao mismo ang magdi-dictate ng narrative.
Technically depende kung paano nagamit at kung may malicious intent (pwedeng i-argue sa defamation/libel/cyber libel side kung may element ng paninira). Pero kung natural lang na nag-circulate yung clip at hindi sila agad naglabas ng malinaw na statement, sila din ang nagkulang sa crisis management.
Parang ang lumalabas, imbes na i-manage nila, parang nakiride pa sila sa hype. Resulta? Instead of gaining sympathy, they fueled the backlash. Majority ended up not liking what they’ve done, worst pa, they got bashed heavily.
Nakakadismaya na ganyan ang inabot nila since sumikat. From rags to riches to rags again quickly sa dami ng attitude and other negative issues. Umabot pa sa demandahan ngayon - na ang cheap, tbh. Wala pa ako nakitang other pinoy o kpop groups na ganyan kalala ang negativity. Di ko alam kung sino dapat sisihin, sila sila mismo?
They need character development. The narrative didn’t change, yung reactions nila was authentic. Di naman na manipulate yung video to put then on a bad light. May pa demanda pa as if mabubura nyo sa utak ng tao pano kayo nag react sa betamax, galing halos sa hirap kung mka react kala mo mga Zobel. Keri lang kung di nyo bet yung food, pero yung reaction nyo, parang ipis pinapakain sa inyo.
Kahit di spliced ang video NEGA talaga ang vid na yun bakit kasi ginawa pa nila yun, di rin magaling ang abs cbn ha sa nga guesting ng bini dapat bago ilabas yun may rule sila to REVIEW the video Or better don't do interviews na lang, gawa sila ng content Nila para dun ma edit at ma review nila bago i release (saying this in a business standpoint)
Sec 4(b) of RA 10175 covers offenses such as Computer-related forgery, Computer-related Fraud and Computer-related Identity Theft. So, under which of these categories does unjust vexation fall?
Even granting there is unjust vexation committed online, Sec. 4 would still find no application.
Kayo nag inarte sa camera.so blame yourself , di rin ako kumakain ng street food unless it is a barbecue and fishball so I imagine the horror, pero if I’m in front of the camera syempre di ako aarte na mandiri and if I don’t like what they offered to me I will politely decline, no one should force you to eat anything you don’t want.
