    3. Pra sa akin mejo OA na may rights nmn ung customer. Inispelling n nga nya na JP..as Juliet and Papa pero nagkamali parin. Twice nagkamali. JC ang naisulat so hindi nya nakuha agad ung order nya na 30 mins ago na probably malamig na kung brewed or kung frapped waley na ung pagka frapped nun as well as the danish bread na nahanginan na for 30 mins dahil aircon inside so matigas tigas na. Ang inisip ng customer nasayang ung food and coffee. And probably natandaan nmn sya nung barista so if 5-10 mins na hindi pa na claim ung food they should make an extra mile to find the customer inside “sir kayo po si JC/JP?”

Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends & Influence People.

    6. Call a person by his name. Basic courtesy yun hindi entitlement. Wala na kasing respeto mga tao ngayon. Karamihan barbaric and they're proud of it.

    12. 11:14 Ikaw yung di pa ata nakakapasok ng SB kasi di mo alam na it's always like that (the names being misspelled intentionally). Lol.

      Delete
    15. rage bait lang yan para maging trending.

      Delete
    16. 1:25 baka ikaw yung nagkakape lang ng 3 in 1 or tutong—the squammy who infiltrated sb. I wouldn't be surprised if magwawala ka sa isang restaurant just because hindi ka nabigyan ng tubig. only squammy people likes to make a mountain out of a molehill. real wealthy people don't give a shit if nagkamali yung spelling ng pangalan nila, they're just going to laugh it out. you know why, because wala silang kailangan patunayan. so sorry for you na simpleng pagkakamali and you are easily offended.

      Delete
    17. Grabe naman, nobody claimed the order for several minutes, wouldn't you wonder if that could be you they are calling? JP and JC sound alike so it is possible that somebody made an error in writing the name. All this person needs to do is ask.

      Delete
    18. Ewan ko but he could’ve gone to the counter and asked for his drink nalang… too much entitlement duh!

      Delete
Ever since college student pa lang ako hanggang ngayon may work ako, nags-Starbucks ako. Tumaba ka sana kaka Grande mo palagi. Ako tall lang kasi hindi ako matakaw.

      Delete
    20. 12:52, 1:14, 2:31 nagkamali nga nung una, pero sa tingin ko intentional na ginawang JC ung pangalan the second time dahil nabwisit sa kanya 🤭.

    21. Never liked Starbucks. Too hyped. If you are not familiar with the beverages they are offering, tititigan ka lang ng mga staff nila na parang duh! More expensive than the other coffee places. Dinaan lang sa marketing and branding.

  19. First of all, Starbucks somewhat does it on purpose to misspell your name. I don’t know ha but it’s a trend here in the US. Secondly, you’re a frequent customer, you should be able to determine who’s new and who’s not and who’s actually having a bad day. Maybe, as a customer, let’s give the people who serve us some grace. To err is human. They are actually pretty good with customer service if their employee made a mistake, they hold a very high standard. Certain things can be fixed under manager level, not social media. Kawawa naman yung empleyado, kung bagong hire pa yan, mawawalan pa ng trabaho just because “you’re so entitled”.

    ReplyDelete

Are you for real or just out of your mind? Basic common sense yun - to call somebody by their name, unless you are intentionally insulting a person. Yun ba ang intention nila? To insult him.
SCecond, as a paying customer, he paid what he was expecting

Did you know na madalas minamali ng mga barista ang spelling for marketing strategy or to make the customer smile?

    6. 1:30 ditto with your sentiments. Entitlement with the correct name and Starbucks doesn’t come hand in hand😂. If you expect to be served with the correct name every time you go to SB then either you live in a fantasy or you don’t go there or visit enough. Makapag toast na nga ng basmati rice to make my coffee ☕️, gigil kasi yung isang ka FP sa mga squammy daw, feeling Nya sya lang can afford at may k mag comment , oops may credit card pala ako pambili ng 3 in 1, saka ko na gasgasin card ko for SB😛

    2. To be fair, It’s his/her platform so he can use it to vent into it. I don’t see it as clout chasing though. 134AM Surprisingly, andami din pala defenders ni SB and accepting mediocre service ng baristats just because it’s a “sosyal coffee shop” when in fact there are far better coffee shops than them.

    3. Salamat may nag point out nito.

  28. Your complaint is valid, but I hope you're not one of those customers who go there to study for hours with just a laptop and order only one cup of coffee , as if you own the place. Starbucks is still a business; they need to make a profit. And like you said, the line is long. Other people who actually want to dine in can't find a seat because someone’s been occupying a table for too long.

Ano ikinagagalit nya?! It happens and hindi yan maiiwasan.

It was a non issue na ginawan nalang nya ng issue.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Its his page. id blame more those that made his post viral, i would have been better off not knowing this post exists.

Mali yang ganyang rason na it's his page.

    3. Sorry but im so done with “it’s his page, he has the right to post whatever…” That argument just gives more entitlement to entitled people. Why not say be a responsible social media user, freedom of expression is not absolute, its a privilege so dont abuse it.

    4. People complaining na snowflake si kuya but gets easily offended by this kababawan post.

Dahil ang ideology na yan is a tool to wreck society.

    ReplyDelete
  49. FYI, deliberately misspelling the names off customer from time to time is a marketing strategy for SB. it worked for them for a long time na din.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Rage bait si kuya para sumikat. Intentional.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Omg, ang loser ni maem. Talagang nilista kung San San sya nagkakape LOL. Napaghahalataang nakataas-taas ng tingin sa sarili because of such. Hurt na hurt kasi di daw Tama name. Diba it's a funny thing nga even back in the day how Starbucks is notorious for getting names wrong LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ako I always give out a different name when in Starbucks. Laging "Rose" ang sinasbi ko kasi mispelled lagi ang name ko since it's uncommon. With Rose, walang mali hehhe

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  54. Actually, even in business correspondences it’s a huge no no to misspell a person’s name. So I think it also applies in this situation coz SB was serving a customer. The barista should have been attentive given that it’s part of his job.
The unfortunate situation should have been brought up with the manager or supervisor instead.
Maybe JP is very particular about having his name spelled correctly.
But to post what happened? ... Hmmm … 🤔🤔🤔

    ReplyDelete
  55. That’s SB’s marketing strategy!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ganon naman talaga yung starbucks diba? They play with the customers’ names. Like when I ordered named Julia, then when they called my name for the order, they called me Jelly, like sobrang tawang tawa ako. Not the fist time, not the fifth time.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nagbanta pa eh 🤣 as if kawalan siya sa sb. This generation is doomed.

    ReplyDelete
  60. ako nagwawalk out kung matagal ang order then reklamo lang ako sa higher ups ng store. nagrerefund namin sila after imbestigation.

  61. Magka content lang

Haha

    ReplyDelete
  63. Wow nagtatapon ng pera dahil sa tantrum.

    ReplyDelete
  64. what's in a name? A rose would still smell sweet by any other name.

    ReplyDelete
  65. What a trivial issue. Why not try to check kung yung tinawag nila ay yung order mo? People sometimes commit mistakes. Choose your battles!

    ReplyDelete
  66. OA!!! 500% ang inincrease ng HIV cases sa Pinas mostly (ages 15-25) but then again... ito ang problema ni Kuya.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Soafer oa!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ikaw ang talo, Starbucks will always have customers but not only did you lose your order, you also lost your 1000 pesos.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Was he expecting kaya to get sympathy from netizens o gusto lang niyang mag-viral for the wrong reason? I mean, sobrang petty kasi ng ikinatampo niya. Instead of just shaking it off ginawa niyang big deal. I know what the barista did was wrong about the change pero gets ko na ginawa niya yun para pagkatuwaan yung pagiging petty ni customer. And when I saw the face of the customer, mas lalo kung naintindihan si barista.

    ReplyDelete
  70. The entitlement of accla?! Gustong latagan ng red carpet

    ReplyDelete
  71. Well, I mean, its Starbucks. What do you expect? Good coffee?! Yikes! Ginawa kaseng status quo jan ang Starbucks tapos they consider themselves as coffee aficionados. Lol

    1. status quo? wahahaha. mali pa ng gamit

    2. Not sure sa status quo pero status symbol yun ata.

  72. I'm sorry but i find this very mababaw.

At usually if natagalan pagtawag name ko, i would follow up. And probably pointed out the mistake committed para di maulit sa ibang customer.

Matagal na ako di ng SB cz aside na mahal, umiiwas na ako sa strong coffee as advised by doctor but di ko ibo boycott ang SB dahil sa post nito. Ma issue kalang JC.

  73. he must have gone to a starbucks who hires staff with poor hearing and couldn't spell. : ( . way to have fun at the expense of your costumer.

    1. 12:50 darling, everyone makes mistakes—whether it’s a barista mishearing a name or someone writing “costumer” instead of “customer.”
Maybe let’s be more forgiving to people doing their best at work. ✌🏻

    2. 12:50 mali ang spelling mo gurl.

    3. 1:29 korek ka diyan. Natawa ako sa "costumer."

    5. 5:23 lol 😂 . I spilled my homemade Breville barista coffee with fresh frothed milk with caramel macchiato creamer with home made whipped cream on top that cost me probably $1 to make. 😂Lol at 12:50 too talking about the correct SPELLING, what an irony you couldn’t spell too.

  74. SB is unbothered. Maybe you should learn to be more understanding and patient rather rant it out on socmed and paint yourself as someone too important for a misspelled name.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ayoko din ng nilalro ang name ko! That really sucks!
C'mon SB tigilan nyo na yan, we're paying good on your products, it's not funny anymore! Not because kj kami, but because its just plain stupid! For a business like you who level themselves as high end?! Pabibilihin nyo kami ng mahal nyong kape tapos gagaguhin nyo name namin?!
Better have good quality coffee nalang somewhere else more fun and more classy, where they also offer better quality costumer treatment!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ang OA! Ang daming customers. Hindi ka kawalan.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ang OA! Hahahaha. Instead, nag-walkout? How destructive can you be? LOL. Kaunting pasensya lang, hello!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Pati SM nakisakay nalng sa issue mo JC!

    ReplyDelete
  79. I googled his face. Kaya pala ganon ugali. Hahaha

  80. Starbucks is probably happy to lose you as a customer, napaka sensitive gusto pa magtrending and risking the job of the barista

  81. Akala ko naman ano na nangyari. Hahahaha!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Super kinabahan ang Starbucks, they will probably file for bankruptcy soon sa pagkawala nitong si JC!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Sayang yung order. Dahil lang sa pride and ego. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  84. It's not a big issue to make something out of it. It happens even here in the US. Just follow up, ask, get the order, and leave.

    ReplyDelete
  85. As if naman he'll be able to drag down a big company. Such bloated ego and self-importance!

  88. Huhhhh? WTF. mag 3-in-1 ka nalang Dong/Day, hayyy nakuuuuu

    ReplyDelete
  89. It's only in the Philippines where Starbucks is seen as a premium cafe lol. I've been to many in different countries and continents, sa PH lang yung they see it as a holy grail of expensive coffee shops.
