When you come into the industry as an OUTSIDER, you don’t know who to trust. You’re more susceptible to predatory agents, talent managers, etc. And that’s on top of the already predatory directors, producers, casting directors, etc. When you have family in the industry ... a Nepo baby, you’re automatically protected and don’t have to spend time navigating that whole web of people. You have a straight path to people you can already trust, and avoid a lot of the abuse that non-industry people are often subjected to. That in and of itself is a MASSIVE privilege.

I disagree. Always thought Charlene was a plain jane mestiza. Beauty is subjective, I reckon Atasha has a different look so it would be a matter of taste.
Tama ka 7:58. My mom was beautiful and i dont look like her. I look after my dad. Matangos ilong ng mom ko and i dont have her nose. Growing up she would always say i dont look like her. Sya na mismo nagsasabi panget ako. It made me resent her. Tingin nya sakin kakumpetensya coz obviously my dad adores me. Later on in life i realized how sad her life is. I may not be as beautiful but i have kids that loves me for whatever my looks are and i have a great relationship with them. Can't say the same thing with my mother and her children.
