Actually her Korean language skills is at a beginner level...learning from Korean drama and movies level. It's ABSOLUTELY not enough to be a host. She couldn't even use proper formal grammar when she talked with the actor. Formal Korean grammar is very important for Koreans. If she wants to be a host learn the language well....and before anyone reacts if I know how to speak the language....yes I do, fluent and good enough to be an interpreter for legal settings.

Not really. Most contracts nakalagay pwede iterminate at any given time. Nagkataong naharap sya sa strict na Korean na production guys na di uubra yung ganyang di up to their standards. She really lacked energy and enthusiasm. Kesehodang rehearsal yan, you should show them your dedication sa responsibility na binigay sayo. Parang masyado siyang confident na just because she's popular and can speak Korean eh okay na yun sa production management. Kahit dun sa interview niya with Seo In Guk feeling pa-importante pa siya. Parang siya pa yung iinterviewhin eh!
Mga antih, iba ang work ethics sa SoKor at Pilipinas. Kapag hindi mo nagawa ng tama ang trabaho mo, malamang papalitan ka kaagad kasi sa totoo lang ang daming nakaabang sa opportunity na ganyan. So, bakit kayo nagulat na napalitan kaagad? Malamang may pinagpilian na yan to host, as in hindi lang c Kristel ang contender kundi marami. Itong mga artista din kasi sa atin eh alam na ngang pucho pucho ang talent ang nila, hindi pa magawang iimprove ang sarili at tatanggap pa tlaga ng trabaho maski alam namn nila sa sarili nila na mapapahiya lang sila. She couldn't even use proper formal grammar when she talked with the actor. Formal Korean grammar is very important for Koreans. If she wants to be a host learn the language well....and before anyone reacts if I know how to speak the language....yes I do, fluent and good enough to be an interpreter for legal settings.

Kasi nakakasama naman talaga ng loob na nandun ka na at nagrehearse ka na tapos at the last minute papalitan ka. I mean tao lang din siya. So being real lang rin yung reaction nya. Para sa akin kasalanan ng organizers or kung sino man na nag suggest na si Kristel ang kunin na mag host. Kasi as many commented, hindi siya pang hosting. At never ko pa nakita na naghost siya. Remember in events like this, hindi lang sarili niyo ang nirerepresent niyo but also our country. Wag tanggap ng tanggap para lang sa exposure and then feel offended if organizers pull you out the last minute.

It's not like this will catapult her to stardom. Chos kaau mo tanan. Being changed last minute allows her naman siguro to be sad. if you watch and understood the video, she only cried for a minute there but then put on a brave face. If this happened to anyone of us, baka umuwi nalang tayo because of embarrassment. But she braved on because she is a big fan of the actor, by the way, who is not as sikat like Lee Min Ho etc. so again, why would this be a stepping stone? Stepping stone for hosting? it pays little compared to what she earns for vlogging.

Kristel has always been soft spoken at hindi niya talaga forte hosting. So dapat alam yun ng organizers BEFORE they even got her. But they still did. Don’t put all the blame on her.

I also worked in the entertainment industry and alam dapat ni Kristel na normal ang last-minute changes. She was just fortunate not to have experienced it for the past 20 years. Marami akong kilalang artists, mga A-listers and may malaki pang fanbase ang ilan, who were replaced in their projects despite the preparations and announcements done kasi either may isang taga-management na may gustong ipush na ibang artist, or nagbago ang story/script kaya hindi na bagay si actor/actress sa role. So lalo na tong kay Kristel, valid and understandable ang reason for the last-minute change kasi performance issue siya e.
Yung iba nga nakapagshoot na ng mga eksena, pinalitan pa. 😂

ReplyDeleteAng harsh naman ng iba dito. I watched few of her vlogs talagang kapag may goal sya passionate nyang gagawin yun. Parang wala lang talaga sa personality nya ang hosting at dyan nya lang gagawin at may mga co-fan talaga siya kay SIG na gusto syang makita on stage dahil super fan sya.

ReplyDeleteI've watched the video, sad to say, para siyang hindi nag almusal. Walang ka energy energy. She was wondering why she didn't get a 2nd chance, eh ate binigyan ka ng pagkakataon pero hindi mo binigay 1000% mo to prove to them that you deserve it. It was a rehearsal so it's like a practice and to go through what'll happen in the event. Goodluck next time. It is a lesson learned na until nandiyan ka sa event, wag magpaka confident na hindi ka papalitan.
ReplyDeleteAng arte eh sinupport naman pala siya ni SIG kinausap pa siya pero inoovershadow niya yung event ni SIG by releasing all these videos and issues na na settle naman pala ng maayos. Kitang kita naman how different her hosting skills is dun sa pumalit. Kung alam mo di ko forte and fan ka talaga di mo gagawin yang pinagkakakitaan mo pa na magkaron ng bad publicity yung event niya pinagbigyan ka naman sa 1on 1. Nakakhiya tong babae na to.

Kakanood ko lang ng fan meeting ng kpop nung May - chanyeol and Sehun ang Alam ko Wala practice yung skit nila Medyo impromtu ata yung fancom na yun. Ang comment lng yung korean director that time sa ibang bansa umaabot lang daw ng 45 minutes yung fan meet nila sa Pilipinas lang daw uumabot ng 1 and half hour🤣🤣🤣🤣. ReplyDeleteMali pa din organizer ng event to cancel her hours before the event, it is unprofessional sa kahit na anong tingin. Hindi ko sya bet but for her to be humiliated like this is uncalled for, nageffort sya so kung nung una pa lang nakulangan na sila sa energy or di nila gusto style nya ng hosting they should have told her ahead of time. On the other hand, bakit din kasi oa ng mga fans nya to ship them. The event should be about the korean artist and not them being together. So I honestly believed they use her clout and then abandoned her the last minute para di maging about her ang event.
ReplyDeleteNot really. Most contracts nakalagay pwede iterminate at any given time. Nagkataong naharap sya sa strict na Korean na production guys na di uubra yung ganyang di up to their standards. Mahihigpit yang mga ganyan and no talaga sila pag di pasado sa kanila. Mas to blame ang local side kasi di nila chineck siguro to bago isalang. Yung ganyan hopefully may clause na pwede sya icancel pero either may cancellation fee or full payment sya dahil day itself nangyari

And even if rehearsal lang, she should have given her best kasi actual day na yun ng event eh. Parang rehearsals sa concerts and plays, performance level lalo sa final stages. Also the fan meet and greet was for Seo In Guk but she is making it about her and her fans wanting to see her. She was still lucky bec she met SIG personally, sang with him and had a lot of selfie pics pa.

There will be other opportunities and when that time comes I hope she learned her lesson well. Even if it's just a rehearsal you have to show to the management that you can pull it off. There's always perception management.

You'd think na she'll show confidence sa rehearsal at sa mismong one on one nila nong Korean pero wala talaga! Delete1. May backup hosts talaga just in case may mangyari, nakastandby na si Karen.
2. Baka ganito ang kalarakan sa SK, kahit a few hours after the event kapag hindi ka nagustuhan ng production team papalitan ka talaga.
3. Hindi lang na-inform si Kristel na may possibility na pwede siyang palitan at the last minute.
Speculation ko lang naman yan.

I understand the side of organizers, lack of energy nag naman ang hosting nya. Tama naman na kahit rehearsal, you give your 100% palagi. Masyado ata nakampante si girl kasi alam nya na may edge sya, aside from fan sya ni SIG, ay marunong din syang mag-Korean. So imbes na gawin nyang excuse yung nangyari or magpagain sya ng sympathy, maging realization nya na na-wrong move talaga sya dun sa rehearsal dahil "hindi nya binigay ang 100% energy" nya and she expected a second chance.

Pag host ka dapat ikaw ang nag lelead ng stage. Learn from Toni, Vice and Luis even Anne. Kaya nilang dalhin yng event. Stage presence andun.

Kapag hindi mo nagawa ng tama ang trabaho mo, malamang papalitan ka kaagad kasi sa totoo lang ang daming nakaabang sa opportunity na ganyan. So, bakit kayo nagulat na napalitan kaagad? Malamang may pinagpilian na yan to host, as in hindi lang c Kristel ang contender kundi marami. Itong mga artista din kasi sa atin eh alam na ngang pucho pucho ang talent ang nila, hindi pa magawang iimprove ang sarili at tatanggap pa tlaga ng trabaho maski alam namn nila sa sarili nila na mapapahiya lang sila. Pag may work na binigay sayo galingan mo. 100% todo para next time maalala ka nila at kunin ulit. Minaliit ni kristel ang rehearsal tapos pag nareject ang daming hanash.
