  1. Why is she initiating to divulge her medical conditions. That’s against one’s privacy.

    3. Oh yeah, checked Bea’s profile. She hasn’t posted anything about her kidney transplant but she reposted MW’s story. Looks like inunahan pa ni MW mag announce sa public eh, I wonder if may consent xa before posting it.

    4. Procedure lang naman namention. She didn't specify why Bea needed the transplant.

Mga 4 to 5 years na siguro. Too much protein kasi can take a toll on kidneys

    6. I think its public knowledge naman na Bea has kidney failure. She even states in interviews that she's having dialysis. Ang concern ko lang is the person who donated the kidney bakit hindi nila i acknowledge that person might be dead or person na nag donate para sa knya who is also fighting for his life. #justsaying

    7. Anon 9:40, it’s always secret to both parties kung sino ang recipient at sino ang donor. rule yan ng organ donation, unless family mo.

    8. hoy ms just saying, unethical yang i-announce sino nagdonate unless gusto ng publicity. Nakakaloka ka sa pagka mema mo

    1. Was she the onw who disowned her father before? Na kesyo hindi daw gumagastos sa kanya but ang father naman pala, never failed in providing sa finances sa kanya.

  5. Sana lahat ganun kadali magpa transplant. My friend's relative has been struggling with CKD for the past 2 years. Hirap sila kasi more than 1 million and hinihingi to START the process for transplant. Hindi pa yan lahat ng gastos nila. And they are not rich. Nakakalungkot lang healthcare system sa Pinas.

    Sorry just ranting

Trilyon kaya budget kada taon. Kaso pag ginawa nila un mababawasan pork barrel nila. Cannot be.

    4. Govt md here, if they can not afford the treatment they can apply sa malasakit centers found in each govt hospital, i have treated so many ckds that rely on govt support, sana maayos ng family ang papaers para magawan na si patient.

    5. Kahit saan mahal at mahirap magpakidney transplant. Hindi sya mura... Mahal gamot, diagnostic tests, physicians fee, operating room fee, etc. Gastos mo pang dalawang tao: yung donor at yung recipient.

      Delete
    6. Its frustrating. Are they poor? They could go to NKTI, Doctors lower their fees depending on the case. PCSO assists din. Also kidney transplant is faster via donation from a matched relative

    8. She was able to go far with dialysis and kidney transplant because shes here in Canada where medical expenses are shouldered by the government

Sad to say, Filipinos in our homeland are at a great disadvantaged because of the perpetual politicians who are being elected.

People, learn from your mistakes! Vote wisely or be sorry again for the next 6years!

Kaya I may sound defeatist pero at the rate things are going wala ng pag-asa Pilipinas. Wala. As in wala.

    11. Shes in canada, yrs din waiting for transplant.

    12. Does Bea have medical or financial sponsor? It's been more than 5 years na siguro ang kidney condition niya.

Super gastos sa hospital expenses yan ..

    13. Then they are not resourceful enough.

    14. In Canada we have a healthcard na you provide in any healthcare facility kasama dun is ung transplant. I think culture din ito sa west na people are open minded abt organ transplant kapag namatay sila, kaya hindi masyado mahirap mag hanap ng donors. I myself put in my healhtcard that whatever is it organ na pwede pa I can donate it to people who needs it. May option na pwede mo i donate sa science ung body mo or organ transplant or sa science din.
Filipino's not have this option and hindi pa rin siguro ka open minded ang Philippines when it comes to this. Kaya kapag situation like this tigok agad.

      Delete
    16. 11:34 yes baks libre ang transplant prob lng ang mgdonate mtagal kc

      Delete

  6. Sino yung nasa gitna ng pic?

  7. Iga nephropathy Kasi case ni Bea an autoimmune disease like lupus that attacks kidney, as long as there's no cure for that pwede sirain parin new kidney niya.. fyi there's a z package from philhealth that covers zero billing for kidney transplant basta pasok ka sa criteria nila.. that hardest part Kasi makahanap ng donor

  8. My friend's husband had a kidney transplant around 2M nagastos nila.

    1. Thats so sad to hear. Yun din main concern ng friend ko. Balak kasi nya sya magdodonate sa mom nya, pero pano if ireject ung kidney? Tapos yung friend ko left with one.
