  3. You could file a complaint to POEA.

    1. Hindi yan sakip ng POEA

      Delete
    2. Under pa din sila ng jurisdiction ng poea pwede nya ipacheck ang pwede syang magsabi ng complaint pwede nila imbestigahan kung hindi sila legit at wala silang license from poea yari ang agency. pwede naman yun kasi complaint yun against an overseas manpower agency saka bawal maghold ng passport ang passport mo sayo lang dpat ikaw lang may karapatan maghawak at magtago kesehodang hinihingi at gusto itago ng company at agency mo

  5. Thank God si Yaya nakahanap ng good employer like Saab.

  6. Infairness bait nya sa yaya nya. I hope she can help sue that agency. My gosh iba talaga mga tao ngayon

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well, my advice is just to pay up to lessen the headache from this. 3k na lang din naman. There's Nothing you can do about it. Unless you sue them Pero gagastos ka much much more than the 3k.

    2. 12:15 Its not even about the money but the fact that they always take advantage of poor people. Kaya dapat wag silang bayaran.

      Delete
    3. Actually, no need to sue. They can repprt the agency to POEA. Agency yan eh, tatanggalan ng license ng POEA or isuspend nila yan.

    4. Most of the time in situations like this, people with money are more concern of with what is wrong and what is right, hindi sa kaunti nalang din naman ang babayarin.

Kaya may naloloko kasi may nagpapaloko gusto lahat madali

That's almost 120K. Double ng loaned amount!

    1. Dinaig pa ang 5-6!!!!

    2. Ganyan talaga. Ako nga umabot pa ng 200k eh.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  16. Report to the authorities or seek legal counsel.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Sounds like an illegal recruiter to me.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sumbong nya kay Tulfo!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hayaan nyo na yung agency. Kapag nag expire yung passport, apply for another one. IKR

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Kay Raffy Tulfo ilapit yan

    ReplyDelete
  22. What she said is true, andami agency taking advantage of poor people. Kudos to Saab for bringing awareness about this.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Please correct me if I'm wrong... Pero diba tama na yung nauna nyang sentence: She WAS a former OFW?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yup. She WAS dapat :)

      Delete
    2. Nope. IS dapat. Keyword: former.

  24. Tolfu saklolo!!!!!

  25. The Philippine Passport Act of 1996 states that the Philippine passport is the property of the Philippine government. That’s right. Your passport may bear your name but you don’t own it.

Following this logic, no other entity or individual can use your passport to compel you to do anything, much less to pay up for its retrieval.

She should get a lawyer to send a demand letter right away.
