But when I tried to Google the details that are publicly available, same din ako ng na-feel as most commenters--that there was injustice against the accused. So sad that the artistas that are in this film are getting all the hate. But if you think about it, the film is actually a good way para mapaingay yung kaso ni Paco and for him to get the justice he deserve. As well as for both of the Chiong sisters para malaman talaga kung sino gumawa nun sa kanila. I've seen the docu 4 years ago bago pa sya umingay ng ganito and dun ko narealize na grabe talaga ang justice system dito sa pinas. Kung meron ka connection, money and power makakalusot ka. In the docu it was also clearly a trial by publicity and lahat ng tao naniwala na sila yung suspek now the table has been turned and I can't just imagine the feeling of Paco's family right now kasi matagal na nila itong hinahangad na mabuksan yung isip ng mga tao hence the docu nga.
Maybe people's oppinion about the actors/actresses accepting this movie is bad but come to think of it, it actually helping the real people involved in this case and hopefully this would re-open the case or even the Supreme Court look at this case again para makuha yung totoong justice.

HELLO! ang burden of proof is in the prosecution, they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. Ano ba ang actual proof nila na 1. he knows the sisters 2. he was in cebu that night 3. physical evidence that ties any of them to the crime. They are saying iba daw ang chair niya sa photo and he wasn't looking at the camera. HELLO, proof of guilt yun? this was 1997 uso na ba ang sophisticated photoshop that time sa pinas? what about the other photo of him wearing the exact same shirt but sitting at another chair beside someone else? sitting on a chair that is exactly the same as the others? Hindi pwedeng yung isang chair was an extra chair the staff got somewhere dahil kulang? Whether he did or not, the prosecutor did not prove his guilt. Also diba no body no crime? so why would they be found guilty of the other sister? eh wala ngang corpse and no proof of whatever happened to her. yung star witness nga hindi yun maituro.
i also learned about it recently. that got me curious and watched the docu. i believe that Paco is innocent and definitely our justice system is flawed based on the answers given by the prosecution team and the judge. Like when the police mentioned the he’s a good friend of Mr. Chiong’s boss but he cannot remember the name. The judge justifying life sentence over death penalty bec there’s no proof of rape and that the body of the victim was never verified, supporting documents like flight details ignored made me realize there’s definitely mistrial

HELLO! ang burden of proof is in the prosecution, they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. Ano ba ang actual proof nila na 1. he knows the sisters 2. he was in cebu that night 3. physical evidence that ties any of them to the crime. They are saying iba daw ang chair niya sa photo and he wasn't looking at the camera. HELLO, proof of guilt yun? this was 1997 uso na ba ang sophisticated photoshop that time sa pinas? what about the other photo of him wearing the exact same shirt but sitting at another chair beside someone else? sitting on a chair that is exactly the same as the others? Hindi pwedeng yung isang chair was an extra chair the staff got somewhere dahil kulang? Whether he did or not, the prosecutor did not prove his guilt. Also diba no body no crime? so why would they be found guilty of the other sister? eh wala ngang corpse and no proof of whatever happened to her. yung star witness nga hindi yun maituro.

Deletei also learned about it recently. that got me curious and watched the docu. i believe that Paco is innocent and definitely our justice system is flawed based on the answers given by the prosecution team and the judge. Like when the police mentioned the he’s a good friend of Mr. Chiong’s boss but he cannot remember the name. The judge justifying life sentence over death penalty bec there’s no proof of rape and that the body of the victim was never verified, supporting documents like flight details ignored made me realize there’s definitely mistrial
