  1. SO many depressed and anxious kids these days. So sad. I work with special needs kids here in the US. Let us bring back active play, active listening and communication to our children's lives.

    4. 1:11 i don't think so. She must have mistaken depression and deep sadness. When you have clinical depression it's very rare na sasabihin mo sa iba lalo na sa socmed. They are ashamed to even admit na they are depressed. So it's sad na ginagamit nalang ngayon yun "depression" para magpapansin.

      Delete
    5. 2:24 not applicable to everyone who suffers from depression. Chester Bennington was open about his battle and he ended up losing that battle.

      Delete
    6. 2:24 Right. Thats why most if not all those who suffer from depression end their lives unguardedly because they will never mention their illness to anybody or seek professional help.

      Delete
    7. Same thoughts tayo 2:24

      Delete

      Delete
    9. 2:24 just a question if you don't mind. So what about kaya yung mga taong nagpopost ng things about death and like seeking for attention sa FB then nag-suicide talaga, if not dperession then ano kaya yung reason?

      Delete
    10. 12:56 Di ako Si 2:24...Pero gusto Kita sagutin, maraming factors yan Gaya Ng effects Ng drugs, environment or ibang klaseng mental illnesses(Hindi depression) na mas malala Kaysa sa depression, etc.o sometimes possession (if you are religious/spiritual).May mga specialized priests na may medical background na sineseparate ang mental illness sa possession.Maraming examples Ng taong pinapasunod Ng masamang espirito na magsuicide. They were saved by God at talagang nagbagong buhay.

      Delete
    11. 2:24; they may not come out straight and say na i am depressed but for the kost part there will be signs. you have to look hard and listen enough to see and hear it.

      Delete
    12. I'm not 2:24 but I think to answer your question 12:56 they should really seek medical attention to know what kind of depression they have if it is really linked to mental illness or if they are just experiencing sadness.

    13. 3:15 AM. I just realized that today is Chester Bennington's death anniversary. I suddenly missed him. Some people are open about their struggles about clinical depression and some are not. The media has taught people not to be ashamed of this condition and to reach out if they are feeling suicidal. It's not about being "papansin." I know someone who is successful but has depression. It's just that some people are open book. Sorry if I have grammatical errors, baka ma-bash ako neto ng di oras. Hehe.

      Delete
    14. Guys. Chester did talk about his dilemma and what he's going through but he never confirmed nor admitted that he was diagnosed with depression. Only from his last interview na confirmed ng madla na he was talking about his depression na pala and just discovered it after he took his own life.

      Delete

    16. Guys, Chester Bennington had depression. He went to therapy. So yes, nadiagnose siya.

Sa totoo lang it takes courage to admit that you have clinical depression or any other mental illness. I don't know. Gets niyo ba?

Ngayon lang nagka-time ulit mag post dito. I mean yung topic about mental health.

      Delete
    19. @Mary Grace...Karamihan dito nagcomment ay mga taong may totoong mental illness, may background Ng mental health, nurses, etc.Mukhang Bata Ka pa and marami Ka pang dadaanan sa buhay.Sa ibang countries,Gaya Ng US may awareness sa mental illnesses.Don't get me wrong,I'm not saying wala sa PInas.Pero sa Pinas iba ang pagkaintindi Ng tao Ng salitang 'depression'.I can say I'm sure na Hindi nagpatingin yan Si Kiana.Hindi sa Pinapaboran Ko Si Chester. If she's open like you said she is(just like her family) Di Sinabi rin Niya sa post Niya. You can't blame people if they have that perception Kay Kiana, alamin mo yung mga kontrobersya na kinasasangkutan Niya starting from her teen years tapos yung ugali Niya sa socmed. It could be other issues such as wanting to gain attention, she may be extremely negative, inability to handle emotions, inability to accept failure etc.I can go on and on.Marami yan bagay na Dapat tingnan and the only way na masabi na may depression siya ay magpatingin siya sa Psychiatrist.

      Delete
    20. @1:12 At saka, if may 'depression' yan Si Kiana nung 2016 tapos 2018 na ngayon sana nagpapsychiatrist siya.Well,Kung pupunta pa lang siya sa Psychiatrist ngayon it just goes to show na tama ang halos lahat dito sa FP.Di ba pagmay sakit syempre you will seek medical help?Mayaman naman sila. She said na she was able to deal with the illness through the help of God,family, friends,bf.If she was able to deal with it like that eh Hindi yan mental illness. You can't deal with mental illness with the help of just loved ones Kundi with the help of a psychiatrist and proper treatments.

    3. The psyche world calls it depression I call it love and attachment to the worries of this world. The things of this world defines you.

      Delete
    4. We don't know what people go through on a daily basis. So kung ang way nila to cope is by posting and talking about it on Socmed then thats fine. Pero if they are using depression to gain sympathy then thats just wrong.

      Delete
    5. @1:02 they're rich naman why doesn't she go for a check up. I swear some of these people just say they have depression to get attention.

    10. 2:35 It doesn't make sense to go for a check up.The depression happened 2016.Kaya she can call it 'depression' all she wants pero Hindi siya nagpatingin sa spesyalista.

    12. if you had a series of depressive moments and you cannot understand it, you have to seek help from a psychiatrist para matulungan ka and to explain to you if you are suffering from depression nga or if it was just sadness.

I think this type of "depression" is prevalent in countries like the US na ang batayan ng success is how much u have in the bank then early on independent na agad sila wala nang asa asa sa pamilya mahina yung support system nila. Kaya nagiging eyeopener sa kanila pag nakikita nila poor sa mga 3rd world countries, thats when they realize that they are still lucky.

  33. This is the issue among stars. They are used to lavish lifestyle, being adored by fans, surrounded with high class personalities, etc. They always want to be on top so as not to lose their stardom. Their acts are so rehearsed so as to protect their image; to the point of forgetting their own real selves.

Yung iba career, family problems, or self esteem. Naranasan ko yan nung na-miscarriage ako, halos hindi na ako natutulog kakaisip at pag wala akong ginagawa nakatingin lang ako sa wall so to get my mind busy i was cooking and baking all day and night. TV or radio didnt help mas lalo akong umiiyak. I shut down from the outside world. But I went to get professional help and got over it with family help and my dogs.

    - mga batang naulila or pinaampon
    - mga batang inabuso at sinaktan
    - mga inalipusta at binugbog

  46. Yung Feeling sadness, loneliness, or grief when you go through a difficult life experience is part of being human. It becomes depression if you cannot bounce back anymore or you cannot do your daily function or tasks.

You guys are wrong and you are the reason why mas maraming nadedepress. People won’t listen and they get judged easily. Please be open minded enough to understand that this is a very sensitive topic. Depression is widespread and may lead to suicide. The rate of suicide deaths is increasig rapidly. Millenials ang mostly affected because Most of the millenials grew up with social media around them, grew up with unbelivable walang kwentang trends, and they all grew up wanting to fit in because of what they see online. Ask yourselves what little thing you can contribute to help stop it. Stop judging. Be open minded and listen to them.

  50. Influencers should think twice before they say they are depressed because their followers/youth might get the wrong idea of the word. Baka sad lang or may pinagdadaanan lang na mabigat, millenials will think they are depressed na then baka ung sadness mapunta sa suicide.

I was clinically diagnosed of depression and I couldnt even get outside the house and going to school was a struggle.

Keana, if true, should stay away from friends who likes superficial things. Maintain healthy relationships and lifestyle.

  51. Baka anxiety lang not depression.. be careful of the word depression because kids nowadays are easily influenced. Baka nman because of these influencers, kids who are just experiencing a bad day/month/year, magcomclude na depress sila
