    1. Kaya nga. Ginamit agad ang racial discrimination. Hello. Sa California pa e napaka diverse and welcoming to all race and hindi kasing closed minded ng mga ibang state

    3. Correct 12:29. Race card agad agad?? Diba pwedeng may logistics and org problem. Ayan na nga nag back fire na paawa. At wag kami ateh nagpaka religous talk agad parang na Semana santa kayo ganern??

    4. Not only the height requirement, but the so-called "friends" of Angeli pala, scammers rin of their fellow Pinoys in LA.

They were led to believe that they will walk the runway without informing the real organizer of the event. Imagine the horror of the organizer during the day itself.

    6. Everybody are after about their dreams. Kaya nga sinabi na ni Jesus, in the last days people will be cold hearted.

A. or NYC matangkad talaga dapat.

    9. Ito pla ang rason. Prang pahiya lng sila kakakuda eh d nman pla pasok sa standard higit sa lhat d tlg sila kasama. Know the facts muna kase bago magreklamo balik tuloy sa inyo.

    2. True! In the first place parang agent lang yan o agency, dapat may information ka ng required models nila o peg.

  10. See, tama ako when I said on the other post yesterday na Kiana and Angeli tried to "skip the line" and didn't go through proper casting, and relied on their connections to sneak Kiana in as a model even though she didn't meet the requirements for the job. Nakakatawa. Ngayon lumabas na ang other side of the story.

Hindi lang naman sa atin uso ang nepotism at using connections, pero sa ibang bansa like America and Canada, meritocracy ang foundation nila, meaning if you meet the requirements for the job and you've worked hard in that field then you deserve the position. Hindi yung pupunta ka sa workplace and try to pass yourself off as an employee even though you didn't interview for the job and only got there because of your parents' influence.

bennyindiejets: "The truth will come out eventually. They seem to not understand that there are strict “physical” requirements that needed to be followed in the modeling industry. This particular parent has no idea about that at all. I mean, who in the right mind would pay some “organization” just so their child could model? That is like bringing “spoiling a child” to another level. Models get paid, not the other way around. Just because nepotism and buying fame worked for them in the Philippines, doesn’t mean it will work abroad as well. I could compare this situation to a rich spoiled brat not getting that thing she wants. And it seems like the other legit filipina models were just dragged in this sticky situation.
Erik, you should address that “No Filipina models allowed” issue once and for all! They are trying to play the race card and milk every single drop out of that just so they could get all the exposure they want. Also, if I may add, what a disrespectful, prima-donna move to bring your own makeup artist to a fashion show. Not even the top supermodels do that! My god! This is just a ridiculous mess.

"bennyindiejets@erikrosete it’s good that you deleted your post because that would only bring publicity to these people. You are the true victim here for being ambushed at your show. You have all the right to file a lawsuit against them if they continue to spread lies that would tarnish your reputation. I feel sorry for this mother but she needs to learn the lesson the hard way. The real modeling/fashion industry is not for the spoiled toddlers and tiaras wannabe supermodels. Nepotism isn’t allowed. Respect the legit models. Respect the designers. Respect the industry."

  30. From the start i know it’s not racial descrimination especially kung sa Los Angeles na mostly nakatira immigrants.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I believe this organizer is telling the truth.

    ReplyDelete
Ibig sabihin no discrimination at all.

    1. Ano naman connect ng university teh. Syempre dun wapakels sila sa philippine univ pero in professional workplaces, they still judge you kung graduate ka ng ivy league, o ng community college.

      Delete
    2. @4:07 AM - hello uninformed one. They have the same institutionalized discrimination, iba lang ang name. Instead na UP and Ateneo, they have Harvard and Yale. They also have nepotism and palakasan. Ever wonder why Kim Kardashian ended up in a Vogue cover? Look at the Trump empire. But they have a bigger economy, more industries so it doesn't feel that way compared to our setting. But please educate yourself. Google is free.

  49. So Angeli paid a scammer to get her daughter to walk the fashion show........wow that’s embarrassing. But I guess since kiana can’t make it in the phils, she thought kiana could be a model in the states instead?! Where’s the logic😳 no offense but not only is kiana too short but she’s not that pretty either. She has no “x factor” which is why she didn’t make it in the Philippine showbiz either! This is a classic case of rich celebrities thinking they can do whether they want!!
