DeleteLmao, why would anyone look to beauty pageant contestants for substantive answers on social issues? Most of these women barely graduated from school and banked on the only things that they have, beauty and youth. They wouldn't have a chance on a career in the corporate world, so they join pageants because it'll give them a quick shot at showbiz.

DeleteMost of the winners graduated from college. I think the reason why they join beauty contests is to join showbizness. For fame and power. They are probably not happy with the job that they have at present. So they want to be famous by making a name for themselves. Which is not a bad thing though.
