    1. Sa dami ng magagandang places in Ethiopia, they chose that concept pa. Seriously? Nega, insensitive, tacky and offensive.

Respect people from all walks of life. You can choose landscapes, background, nature etc na theme.

    2. Ang kasal ang alam ko is about two people in love. Saan ang love? Bakit may mahihirap na tribo as background? So mahirap sila, kayong dalawa alta, ganon? Paki explain ang inachieve nila dun

Ethiopia has ancient history, old world charm, vast culture and rich background.

These papansin KSPs dishonored the country and its people ha. Hello lang! Wag puro eksena sa photoshoot. LEARN THE CULTURE, HISTORY of the country you visit all the time.

Baka fave movie lang nila yung the gods must be crazy Kaya ganyan ang theme nila.

      Delete
    7. Lol ang tamang tanong is "Bakit kaya ganyan ang naging concept nila?" E puro kayo speculations at nagcaptions na agad sa isang picture that paints a thousand words! Kayo mga naglagay agad ng thousand words...tsk tsk tsk chooo choooo all aboard the Wagon!

    8. 1:21 and that includes you right?

      Delete
Hayyy

    10. This is just cringe-worthy. I mean, what the hell were they thinking?

    12. i am not getting a rich vs poor vibe naman pero the photo looks off bec si Coleen naka gown and naka fierce look. Kung sana they were more smiley and yung mga tao parang nag cheer sa kanila, it would have been great..like they found love in Ethiopia ang theme. With this kasi, it looks disconnected, shallow and superficial.

  2. DISTASTEFUL. NEGA. INSENSITIVE.

whether or not there was an intention to be racist or discriminatory is immaterial. THE FACT THAT MANY ARE BOTHERED BY THE PICS MEANS THAT SUCH IS OFFENSIVE.

CONGRATS COLEEN AND BILLY. what a way to start your family life.

      Delete
May mali!

      Delete
    6. It’s clearly is racist, when you idolize your idols so much you become similar like them insensitive think highly of themselves and you become blind even if you do things that are wrong.

      Delete
Alam mong Ethiopia yan. Very poor.

      Delete

Look at Prince Harry and Megan Markle.

      Delete
    7. nakakainsulto yan ng mga tao.

  14. This shoot is sponsored by Ethiopian Airlines and one of the organizers of a wedding expo here. You'll know because they will use Billy and Coleen's photos in promoting. This is not their concept BUT they shouldn't allow it too

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
  15. Hindi nga maganda concept ng prenup nila. To think it's Metrophoto ha. Sayang. I was expecting a US prenup shoot or Paris shoot where Billy got famous. Parang bagay kase sa kanila parisian shoot or mtv style hollywoodish prenup. Medyo overkill ang Ethiopia concept, so agree na trying to look different but failed big time. Sino kaya nag isip coordinator nila or photographer?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  17. What’s more surprising is that meron pala talagang pakialam ang tao sa couple na ito.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
    2. Why surprising? They advertise their lives on social media. What do you expect? They should keep their lives private if they don’t want any reactions.

      Delete

Kayo walang wala. Mahirap pa kayo lahat sa daga. Panget!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I follow dmetroman and mymetrophoto on IG cause isa sila sa mga choices namin sa wedding. I admire Oly and the whole metrophoto team when it comes to wedding photography and their work is extraordinary. However when I saw Billy and Coleen prenup photos this morning, sabi ko I think they crossed the line. It is unique but wrong on some levels. Sabi na nga ba magiging issue to. I just wish they can explain the theme of the prenup but I'm afraid they wouldn't do it anymore cause they have deleted those photos with the tribes as background.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bakit dahil "White" sila?

    ReplyDelete

    2. what the hell is wrong with you 12:33 hindi nakikita na hypocrisy yan! mahal pa ang gown nila kesa sa mga tao ganun? konting sensitivity sana kung sino man nagisip ng ganyang concept. Nakita ko yung iba nilang shots ok naman, except for these photos na insensitive.

      Delete
    3. Cmon! So what's so admiring on these prenup photos if not distasteful? Cge nga.

      Delete
    4. Anon 12:33 hindi naman racism pinaguusapan dito. Ang pinaguusapan dito yung insensitive na paggamit mo ng ethiopian women and children as their PROPS for their engagement photoshoot. It would have been better if they took shots while nakisocialize sila with the people.

      Delete
    5. Ang pilosopo mo nAman, ang ibig nilang sabihin WAG GAWING PROPS ANG MGA ETHIOPIANS

    1. Yes. They simply dressed up and had pics with the locals. I don't think they meant to show how high mighty they are over the Ethiopians.

      Delete
    2. so bakit nainsulto yung mga ibang commenters?

      Delete

      Delete
    4. 12:53 parang racist kasi Ang dating.

      Delete
    5. When you have your pic taken kasi with the locals you smile you communicate you interact with them. Dito mukhang mayaman yung couple tapos di nila nakikita yung poverty around them. Its like they choose to turn a blind eye with the reality of the place.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. 12:32 same thought too.. para sa akin wala naman masama sa ginawa nila as long as bukal sa loob ng mga locals and they were treated well.. some people nowadays are so sensitive, maging background lang ang mga black o kaya something na nagpapakita ng poverty, exploitation agad.. ung mga taong ganyan, sila mismo ang racist.. wala naman masamang intention ung couple... kung masama ang magpapic o photoshoot with foreigh tribes, so masama rin with our very own local tribes, such as Igorots? masyadong OA ung iba, kala mo mga sinong righteous..

      Delete
    8. Korek!!! Kasi maiitim talaga tao dun!!! Kakaiba! Ignorante

      Delete
    9. 1:42 correct! this is the real point. Stick to the issue tayo mga bes, its not the color. OFF, very OFF

      Delete
    10. wag nyong lituhin ang argument. Ang sabi ng mga commenters dito yung nakikita nila is awa sa mga mahihirap na nasa background habang sila Billy and Colleen sobrang mahal ng mga damit. This is sooo wrong!

  26. I honestly didnt think there’s anything wrong with their photos when i first saw them. All i saw was how beautiful coleen is and how pretty the pics are with all that pop of vibrant colors. Wala akong malice na nakita or na feel i was just drawn to the beauty of it. Just goes to show iba-iba talaga ang reception ng tao. I actually still like the pics. But then again this is me. ✌🏼

    1. Same here. I just saw the beauty of the photographs as a whole. I find the photos beautiful and dramatic.Ethiopians are gorgeous. Many supermodels come from Ethiopia.

    2. Honestly, what caught my eyes first was Coleen's sexy back and exquisite gown.

Mukhang snob sila both dito eh.

      Delete
    8. 12:22 san na nainsulto?? They are locals!! The people there are amazing! Kaya magandang concept. Hahaha! Kaloka ka.

    9. Im sorry the other photos na may mga animals, mga magagandang gown in the market. It shows poverty.

It looks more editorial than prenup, I cannot feel the romance and love of the couple. It backfired on them.

They have no public advocacy whatsoever for the Ethiopian people, (wala man lang statement kung merom tlg to save their a$$) so I don't think this gimmick is meant to please these people. How can this please anyone?

  39. There's nothing wrong with using children and women a concept in artistry for whatever. What makes this a bit distasteful is the fact that this shoot is supposed to be a celebratory mood and when u put poor people on the background, it makes u feel like they are trying to celebrate poverty or stressing out the contrast of social hierarchy. Din medyo foul. Artistically speaking, whoever thought about this is be a bit delusional.

  44. Pretentious, shallow and shameless couple.

I love all peoples.

  48. Hahahaha....they think they are so special. Sadly, they are not.

  49. Bakit di nila narealize to bago shinoot? They’re not known for their intelligence...

  50. A sunaet in a beautiful safari would have suffice. They should fire the company that had this concept, but then again they agreed and paid for it.

  51. Trying hard much kasi. Wala namang talent ang dalawa.

  52. I dont see anything wrong with the photos. I guess the children are part of the culture that's why they're included. People get offended with almost anything nowadays. Lahat nlng ng bagay may meaning. Its not right to have a photo with the kids, BUT its ok to judge them and even throw words na ndi maganda towards the couple? Wow!

    1. No, you are wrong and the pictures are very wrong because the locals are presented in a very bad way. Gets mo?

    2. Omg 1:13, seriously?? Totoo na people can be too sensitive, but this is over the top tasteless!

      Delete
    3. anon 1:18 like how? very bad? nakatayo sila and naka pose.

They are not being bashed for all their photos.

  53. Yes is a fail. Ano ba yan National Geographic?

    ReplyDelete
  54. They were trying to copy another pafamous couple on instagram who also used locals as a backdrop. Ang epic fail ng nakaisip ng concept nito and shame on this couple for agreeing. I guess gusto talaga nila mapag-usapan kasi wala namang pumapansin sa kasal nila.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Tbh, the pictures are no good. Walang taste yata.

  56. It looked like they were rich people who were surrounded by poor people and they are invicible to the rich people’s eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't see anything wrong with the pictures. Imagine if instead of Ethiopians, they were Eskimos instead? Or Tibetans? Siberians? Native americans? There won't be an issue. People are being sensitive because they're black. People who reacted negatively are the ones treating black Africans differently. They're the ones putting malice and reminding everyone that they are often treated inferior, and are thus acting to all self righteous about it, whereas some of us think it's just a normal shot of a culture different but just as beautiful.

    1. This!!! I can see culture here..

    3. I totally agree with you

    4. Why would you clad yourself with overly extravagant clothing in a place where poverty is a daily life? Ano ang culture duon? It would have been different of they were interacting with them or even have the same clothing as they do.

If you so believe there is culture being depicted here, please tell me what it is. Culture of what? The rich vs the poor? I'd like to be enlightened.

Maganda pa rin ba tignan? kanina ka pa nililigaw mo lang ang debate , its not about the color of your skin.

    6. hindi yan malisya. racism and eurocentrism are realities na deeply embedded sa lipunan natin. sadyain man o hindi, maging sensitibo tayo sa estado at kultura na kapwa.

  58. Of all the places in the world, why pick an impoverished country to flaunt your status in life? Disappointed in these two. Tsk tsk.

  61. di na kayo nasanay sa dalawa eh diba tuwing out off the country sila lagi nasasangkot sa gulo

  62. Their concept is odd. I have No idea what they are trying to achieve but filipino tourists also take pics. with Igorots..etc on their vacay..OA lng ang reactions...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. People take pics with the igorots probably because they're not used to seeing them. Kumbaga, they're a culture you dont get to see everyday. That's for memento purposes. Eh itong pictorial na ito is for a wedding shoot and not because theyre amazed to see Ethiopians. The main story I can get from these is that they're royalties and dressed extravagantly while their background are the oppressed (unless you dont have an idea about poverty in Africa). My reaction nor the other's is not OA. You won't feel anything unless you are ignorant.

  63. Pag negra ba poverty ba agad? Di nmn siguro papayag magpapicture kung feeling nila naoffend sila. Ang oa kase ng ibang tao. Naooffend para sa ibang tao. Chill lang uy

  65. OA na talaga ang dalawang yan.

  66. True I don’t get why they needed the tribe for their shoot, like what’s their concept.....rich vs poor🙄

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not a fan of these annoying two but I do not find this distasteful or inappropriate at all. Mob mentality at it again. This just shows how Pinoys get easily persuaded by misconceptions. In this case porke’t Ethiopians poverty agad ang iniisip. Little learning is a dangerous thing. Go watch National Geigraphic, people!

    ReplyDelete

  71. Easy lang sa pag judge. Malay nyo naman nag-donate din sila dyan which is di na nila kelangan i-prove. Saka syempre di maiiwasan sa ganyang country may mag photobomb because they love people, bihira lang sila bisitahin ng taga ibang countties, so instead na alisin sinama na lang.
