    1. SOP and basic logic dictate that security team should first be directed to the room to protect the female occupants.

The Chinese national should have waited outside to settle the matter since it's common sense that they were female occupants in the said room. But well, what can you expect from "chivalry" and courtesy from some tourists, di ba?

    2. And civility. If you are well educated you wont act the same as that man.

  3. Similar incident happened to me a few years back in a hotel in Baguio. Not as high end as solaire but still it is the staff’s duty to get their job right. We were given keys to a room that was already filled with other people’s luggage. THANK GOD no one was in there when we opened the door. This should have never happened without someone being incompetent with their work.

    2. Yung Pinoy type of customer service iba talaga. I live abroad and I notice that sa mag Pinoy establishments.

    3. Yikes, nangyari sa amin yan more than 2 decades ago. Kami yung sinisisi. Yung German sa tingin nya di sya nagkamali. Since libre and we were too young that time pumayag na lang kami na i-comp ang mga food and other stuff para layasan yung suite.
I am sorry Apple this happened to you.

  7. Incompetent talaga. While verifying, they should have directed a guard to go to the room to make sure things don’t get worst.

    1. tama! matic dapat un may pumasok sa kuarto mo dapat paakyatin agad ang guard or sinu pa man na employee.

      Delete
    2. Exactly. Yung ang tamang immediate response. May violation nang nangyayari, may time pang i-verify?

      Delete
  8. Oh, I would have cursed to high heavens the staff if they had given me that kind of bullshit on phone. I would be calling instead the police if they are no help to me. And to hell with privacy, I would be doing some fb live if I have to, to make sure there's record of this stranger occupying an occupied room, and how incompetent the hotel staff for letting this problem happen in the first place.

    1. Ganun din magiging reaction ko. Paano kung armed pa yung pumasok or may violent intention?

  9. Complimentary or not, it doesn’t matter. Once you check in the hotel you are already a guest and shouldn’t be classified as comped or revenue. And offered what late checkout?? Unacceptable. Terrible horrible customer service from a “reputable” hotel. I hope you escalate this matter and hope your girls feel better.

    1. Natawa ako sa late check out, she should have been offered atleast a couple more comp nights. Kashookot...

      Delete
  10. Complimentary daw yung stay. So maybe ganun walang paki Ang staff. But binigyan nila ng freebie di ba. So its not the fault of Apple. I hope heads will roll. Solairecwas just declared as one of only three five star hotels in the Philippines imagine, pero look at the incompetent staff.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Omg same experience with r******** naman I was sleeping whem someone also entered the room. Take note my kasama pang bell boy. Management may kasalanan niyan

    ReplyDelete
  13. Ang rude din nung lalake. The moment he opened the door n finds out that some people occupying it dapat tumawag sya sa front desk to verify imbes maghihiga sya don at panoorin p mgbihis. Npakamanyakis at kawalan ng modo. This is my room??? Where is ur common sense? He should have called front desk.

    ReplyDelete

      Delete
    3. That guy is gross

      Delete

      Delete
  14. This happened to us at C***** ***** also. Luckily handled well. Grabe naman ang kapal ng lalakeng yan. Manners and common sense would dictate that you wait outside for staff.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don’t understand....wala bang double lock ang door? Anybody with a key can get in?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Meron. Bakit di ginamit di ko alam. Baka raw kasi puro sila babae. Lol.

      Delete
    2. Baka di nagdouble lock sila ate

      Delete
    3. And you are blaming the victim for the hotel staff's incompetence? Whether may double lock yung door is not the issue here.

      Delete
Kaloka.

      Delete
    5. nasaan ang utak 5:43 12:35 VICTIM BLAMING talaga?

      Delete
    6. ITO DIN SANA ITATANONG KO. Kung wala bang double lock? Nagtatanong lang naman si 5:43. OA naman maka react si 6:30 at 6:45. 🙄

      Delete
    7. double locking any hotel door is for the safety of the room’s occupants. tama naman ang tanong ni 5:43, partly may mali sila ate by not doing so, kaya napasok tuloy sila ng ibang tao nang basta-basta. what if magnanakaw or mamamatay tao yung pumasok, they could have easily been killed because of that. while i agree na siraulo yung lalaki at ang dapat ginawa nya ay bumalik sa front desk and told them that the room is already occupied instead of shouting at the occupants

      Delete
  16. Always double lock when you are inside the room. Kahit may key card yung iba hindi sila makakapasok.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not blaming the victim pero I agree with you.

      Delete
    2. How? Mag-doorbell pa rin yung drunk Chinese guy. Naturally, you will answer the door. Then, back to square one ang gulo. Double lock will not solve the issue.

      Delete
    3. how do you know na yun ang gagawin ng chinese guy 9:38? the double lock would have prevented the guy from entering the room just like that. by double locking, the guy would know that it’s already occupied

      Delete
  17. Omg !! F@@@ you solaire! You actually sue this hotel in court

    ReplyDelete
  18. This also happened to a friend of mine in the same hotel. He opened his room using the key card issued by the front desk. It turns out, there was a foreigner, a woman, who was already occupying the room. To make matters worse, my friend went in not noticing the woman who was then in the bathroom. After he complained, the management gave him a complimentary room (dunno how they dealt with the other party). But still, he felt the damage done. The woman could have reacted more violently, which would have been called for then given that a complete stranger just entered her room.

I pity Apple. Solaire, be it thru the flaw in its booking system or the oversight of the staff, caused her to encounter that complete a**hole. I'd seriously consider suing them for damages.

  19. Very traumatic. This is why I always make sure I bolt the double lock when I'm in a hotel room.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Walang modong chinese yan! No respect at all! walang respeto sa mga babae!!! Anu ba yan!

    Anung klase management yan...

  21. It is clear that hotel reception have made a big mistake BUT we should always double lock hotel doors for our own safety. We never know what could happen in public places.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Always double lock your hotel doors and put the DND sign all the time specially when inside the room.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks for for sharing your story. Thank God nothing worse happened, hope this serves as a lesson to the hospitality industry.

    1. Ditto! From now on talaga, I'll magiging mas alerto na din ako, especially with the doors. Luckily, wala pa naman nangyaring ganito sa amin but I won't wait for that.

  27. Ipenalize ang staff for their inefficiency!

  28. The hotel os beyond horrible but that Chinese guy is soooo bastos as well. When he saw sana na rhe room was occupied, he should have apologized and left and tell the front desk personnel about the mixed up kahit na in the end, it really was his room! Hay naku, bastos talaga! Humiga pa sa kama. From Mainland china yan!

    ReplyDelete
  29. This is frightening and traumatic for the real hotel guests na nasa room. Pwede magdemanda yung Mother.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yikes! Bad customer service, Solaire!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. That’s why we always make sure to double lock the doors whenever we stay at any hotel.

It’s definitely the front desk’s fault for mixing up keycards or info, we don’t know what happened upon check in of both guests. I’m assuming that if the room was complimentary, the front desk must have mistakenly given an already reserved room or the chinese guy lost his keycard at the casino then requested for a new one at the front desk, and they mistakenly issued him a keycard encoded for a different room. Since keycards can be easily reset.

Solaire is definitely at fault for not addressing the matter promptly. What happened to their CS? They were good before based on our own experience.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I bet this room was given as a freebie for high rollers at the casino. And I bet this fella too is a high roller. Kaya the attitude and the smug.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
Security agad o bell boy man lang nag.send agad.sila.
And may naghe.hate comment pa?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yup. Parang ewan yung lalake.

      Delete
  36. The reason siguro n di sila nagdouble lock is naisip nila n solaire un. Kumbaga kampante sila sa security given n solaire un. They shouldnt be blamed here. Obvious nmn n kasalanan ng staff.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Bastos yang male guest. Dapat hinintay niya muna yung verification since may issue nga. Eto namang mgmt, shunga. Dapat diyan idemanda.

    ReplyDelete
  38. DOUBLE LOCK always! Kahit nga nasa sariling pamamahay ka.. Lessons are learned the hard way..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Double, triple lock ko man, you will still answer the door pag merong nag-doorbell. So, balik uli sa issue na papasok yung guy and demand for his room.

      Delete
    2. anon 9:45, ever heard of the peep hole? lahat ng hotel rooms meron nun. tama si 3:54, double lock & triple lock. if someone’s trying to force open your door, sumilip sa peep hole & kung di kilala, shempre wag pagbubuksan. haler!

  39. I hope she asks help from tulfo then Solaire would definitely get their act together. Sikat na sila eh once nasa tulfo. Bad publicity nga lang.
