Sarah G is an admirable girl, she's nice and hardworking. There was a time when she was one of the country's better singers.. Unfortunately, competition among singers in the Philippines is very stiff. Sarah lacked the personality and the spunk. The problem with her is she peaked very early in her career. And I blame it on her management for failing to evolve her and they didn't give her more challenging projects , she got stereotyped in her pa cute roles in her movie series with JL. It's as if there is nothing left for her to do now, she can't even compete with the new comers because a lot of them are way better singers than her. I hope it's not too late, I hope her management will find projects for her that will excite her followers and supporters in the industry.
Girl she has not peaked already. She chose to lie low. San ka nakakita na nagvacation pero has the highest number of endorsements both print and tv ads. The very same good image is the reason why. Wag kang magmarunong girl. Her endorsement alone is more than enough to pay your salary for a year in 10 times
Anon 5 pm, I know you meant well. But I think the newcomers cannot even compete with Sarah G. Give me one newcomer who can perform better than Sarah G. Singing and dance moves included not to mention the charisma. The latter part lacking in most newcomers. Show me one....and it's her personality and lots of spunk on stage that really endear her to followers. The stereotyped pa cute roles gave her producers lots of moolah. It was her choice to do at least only 1 movie a year. No dramatic roles as crying affects her vocal chords. Up until now there is really not one from the newcomers who can make people excited with the news that Sarah G is in the house. She is still the favorite of corporate events.
