True I agree that Miss World started the advocacy campaigns and that most of their candidates are professionals or are studying to be professionals. Yes some of them are models and presenters but many are out of the entertainment industry. You just have to look of their roster of alumni and former queens. You can't say that about MU. Most of them wanted to be models. It's only now that they are changing their tune. They're focusing on candidates with professional jobs than being a model when back then most of them wanted to be a victoria secret model only. They're rebranding and copying some of the great stuff from Miss World. I'm always glad that Megan is in Miss World. Also that their charity is real and not for show. I find that MU's charity is a bit lacking.

Me too! I didn't subscribe but I watched all the vids. I wasn't aware that Mikael is pushing 30 na and that he had a colorful and very BIG family. Their bunso could pass for his kid but at the same time his mom looks so hip and young that she could also pass as their elder sister. I like him and Megan, chill lang sila.
Nakakaaliw nga silang dalawa. They seem to enjoy the simplest of things kaya parang you get this "they're just like us" vibe pag pinapanood mo sila. Love the fact na di sila pa-star at hindi rin maarte.

She got her appendectomy around 2014 when she was reigning Miss World 2013. She went home for that and there were reports from the Philippine press because they were all tailing Megan's reign and even an interview with her sister Lauren saying she's okay. And there's a swimsuit part during her time but the thing with Miss World is that you should bring your own swimwear (from your country) and she brought a one piece swimsuit. During her time though, they were made to wear sarong due to the conservative/ religious beliefs in Indonesia. There was a rally and that's what they did to amend the beachbody competition. Later in 2014, the swimsuit part was removed.
Met her before kasi naging classmate ko isang kapatid nila. Mabait sila lahat sa family lalo mommy nila na taga western visayas din. You can tell na maayos talaga pag bring up sakanilang magkakapatid. Si Megan medyo tahimik na nerdy nerdy. Love them! ♥
