    5. I agree with cherry pie. Why would you kill a criminal para pagdusahan ang kasalanan nya? Unang una, death row inmates don't die violently. They'll be put to sleep. Very peaceful. Do you think that's fair? We're actually giving them a favor by killing them.i say let them suffer by taking away what matters to them like freedom or castration. Don't kill them right away.

    8. I agree with you anon 6:27 but we have other penal colonies where inmates plant sugarcane and other crops the whole day. They should be sent to government owned plantations and mines to work for us! That's how they should pay for their sins. Dapat gamitin din dila ng DENR for rehabilitation of our forests, rivers etc.

  3. Death penalty is not going to be a deterrent against crimes. People doing a crime do not think of the consequences of their actions. Proper and consistent enforcement of our laws by the people in government with the help of everyone in the community will prevent or lessen incidents of crime.

Drug won't proliferate when the police have been PROUD in doing their jobs and upholding the LAW. When our barangay officials do really take good care of our community. When our city & municipal leaders are thinking how to make their territory peaceful and prosperous.

We just need everyone to actually care for the welfare of their neghbors- the community. Show them love not only with words but through actions

    1. DEATH IS NOT A DETERRENT UNTIL YOU ARE ON ITS END AND BEING GIVEN THE PENALTY OF IT, COZ YOU CAN'T DO CRIME ANYMORE, YOU'RE DEAD! IT'S OUR SINS THAT DRIVES US TO DO BAD THINGS AND GIVING IN TO YOUR SINS THE PUNISHMENT IS DEATH! IT IS A PUNISHMENT NOT A DETERRENT! NOW, PRISON AND FORCE/SLAVE LABOR IS A DETERRENT FOR THOSE WHO MIGHT BE THINKING OF DOING CRIMES BUT SADLY OUR PRISON SYSTEMS ARE RULED BY SATAN THEY WON'T ALLOW SLAVE/FORCED LABOR ON PRISONERS BUT THEY WILL ALLOW DOCTORATES ON CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES!

    2. 1:38 basa ka ten commandments then contemplate. meron kang hindi nagagawa dyan. kasama ka sa mga criminal sa end of days. pathetic.

    3. 1:38 please be informed:

      de·ter·rent

a thing that discourages or is intended to discourage someone from doing something.

Honestly, I am ok with death penalty but not as a deterrent but as the ultimate punishment for grave crimes. Also I would rather be dead than be placed in our jail. I am not a sardine.

    4. Preach 1:38! Diyan ka lang magaling. As if naman napakalinis mong tao.

    5. AnonymousFebruary 2, 2017 at 12:26 AM <-- nothing deters a person from doing a crime! that is why they are called punishment and fines. does reclusion perpetua deters crime? NO. for the record, i am antideath penalty. hindi ko lang trip ang premise ng mga antideath na deterrence!

    6. 1:38, your logic is screwed and twisted, much like your brain

    1. True.

  9. some criminals deserve a death penalty. e kung carnapper lang naman, why sentence with death penalty? pero yung mga hayop na nangrerape ng bata as young as 2 y/o, and then eventually killing them. o kaya nang chochop-chop ng katawan. thats just plain sick! they deserve every single dose of death penalty. cherry pie is too kind for someone whose mother got murdered. i dont believe this. sorry not sorry.
