  5. Hay!!! Minsan mga below the belt pa manglait. Hay!

Eh di let the policemen do their jobs.

Sana hindi siya mag quit dahil these people are pressuring him to do that

Stupid lazy people who do not take diligent effort to see that for almost two decades, this Davao Mayor worked so hard to uplift the lives of the people of Davao.

    4. 8:28 and 8:29,will you stop calling people stupid and lazy. Who the f..k do yo think you are? Just because the president comes from your place, doesn't make you people better than the other Filipinos. Your mouth is full of s..t. Shame on you. No wonder, this happened to your so called lovely people. I feel sorry for them but not for you. You reap what you sow.

  12. True, and why can't we just pray for the victims, I can see na a lot of people from Davao are disappointed dahil si Duterte ang tinuturo ng iba kaya nangyari ito. Can't people see the people in Davao loves their mayor a lot kasi ang daming ginawa ni Duterte para sa kanila kahit sabihin pa trabaho ni Duterte yun bihira na ang politician na ginagawa nila ang trabaho nila. Kahit may ganyan attack hindi nagbabago ang pagtingin nila sa kanilang Mayor they still support him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You know why, because some fanatics are also provoking the other camp. Try reading on how some of these cult members answers back on others' opinion regarding their idol. They cannot take criticisms at all. No other opinion is allowed. They are always ballistic and attack the other party personally instead on just sticking to the main issue. Name calling is all they do, as if, their idol is God's gift to mankind and cannot make a mistake. They don't know how to answer in a civilized manner, hence, hate is created by both parties. In the end... nobody wins.

  18. @9:39...it may be his job, but truth of the matter is - he lived up to it when most politicians are busy promoting their self interests - and that's reality in the Philippines.

    1. 3:48, you are clearly out of control. Typical war freak. Pnoy has said during interviews before, that he will only comment on Duterte's administration after 1 year. This is the reason there is no comment coming from him til now. The previous president knows when to open his mouth. Huwag kang mag invoke ng intriga on this.

  26. Most of the people who are now doing the following:
    1. Mocking the bombing as a failure of the president.
    2. Mocking the "safest city" status of Davao
    3. Thinking that the "state of lawlessness" issued by the president is a predicate to martial law;

are probably just so scathed by the inefficiency of the previous governments we had, that they have become callous - not even apathetic. CALLOUS. Insensitive to the goodness of things that are already in front of their faces. Goodness must have become so unreal to these people that it became an abstract thought to them. Something unreal, unbelievable.

Reading their posts made me feel hatred towards them. But you know what? despite the predicament of the recent tragedy, IT WAS THE DAVAOEÑOS WHO WERE CONSOLING PEOPLE WHO SHOWED SUPPORT FOR THEM. THEY WERE URGING PEOPLE TO LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THINGS - that they can stand up. That is dignity. And that level of dignity, in my book, earns them the utmost respect I can give.

To every Davaoeño, THANK YOU. Thank you for inspiring the Filipinos. Thank you for showing us civility and dignity and strength.

The people who clamor in mockery from now on will just be a fly buzzing near our ears - annoying but must be disregarded.

You deserve our support and love.

    Laban Davao. Lakas Davao.

You continue to inspire us. Thank you. ♥️
