    15. Naku, mainit nga yan. Pag on the ground ang aircraft, patayin ang aircraft power unit para hindi sayang. So walang ilaw at aircon yan for more than 4 hours, tapos oreo bisquits and juices or water lang na one time pang pakain. Buksan lang ng crew mga 2 doors para lang magka hangin sa loob. Ako man si Cesar, mag wawala ako sa gutom, uhaw at init.

    16. Correction d lang cya 2 hours if you sum up the time you went to the airport at gen san till it was diverted to Clark baka umabot pa yan ng 10 hours. Also, it is easy for us to lecture Cesar or the other passengers and say its not the airlines fault, but if we were there and there was no explanation, lil food and water, i am sure we will go crazy at naging oreo din tayo

    17. LAW po ang nagproprohibit ng passengers and even crew to go down from the aircraft. Salita kayo ng salita akala niyo ang dali dali at alam na alam ninyo lahat. Pati pag bukas ng pinto ng eroplano may sinusundan na law at hindi din basta basta nagagawa. May pang Internet kayong mag comment. Mag Internet narin kayo ng tamang impormasyon.

  5. Ganyan din naman ang nangyari samin sa tokyo. 8hrs ayaw ipadeplane bago pnayagan lang nung mag sasara na ang airport. Saka na advise na lumipat ng narita para makauwi ng manila, walang 2 hrs ang byahe between airports.

  7. Protocol yan ng lahat ng airline. You will not be allowed to deplane the aircraft kasi baka masingitan ng dangerous item onboard that might compromise the safety of your flight.
    Sa food naman, no one was prepared for the closure of naia. It was unexpected. The aircraft was not loaded with enough food for your 1 hr and 30 flight.
    Kayo na nga pinoprotektahan sa standard operating procedure na yan.

    1. Agree. Passengers should read flight protocol and procedures to be informed in case of emergency procedures.

      The flight crew, at the same, should disseminate the real cause of the situation rin to the passengers on board to avoid conflict. Plus, serve snacks and drinks rin.

    2. Girl, come on, airlines could always order additional catering if needed while on the ground specially during emergencies like this. It doesn't take more than 2 hours to prepare for catering on this short flights since snacks lang ito. Plus, it's just a small aircraft to cater. Nag tipid lang ang airline company and ayaw ng ground staff maabala when pax are back at the holding gate. Yun lang yon.

      Hoy 4:46AM, hindi puwedeng mag-order ng food.. bawal nga bumaba ang mga pasahero, so bawal din umakyat ang hindi parte ng flight crew kung hindi yun talaga ang destination ng flight... kung tonto, wag magsalita.. nakikita tuloy na mangmang ka.. parte yan ng security measures ng airport at airline yan!

    2. Oo nga may protocol and the passengers should understand that pero naexperience ko to. This is NOT okay. This happened and my meds (liquid form; not allowed as hand carry) were checked in already. Kasi I was expecting a very short flight mga 2 hrs lang and then came this. I talked to the cabin crews about my problem, sadly, wala silang magawa. I asked them if I can deplane nalang so I can buy, hindi rin.
      So maybe there is a protocol but it has to be changed. Hindi okay to. Aminin

    3. I am not an expert sa aviation laws and protocols but I think yung protocols, hindi airline or airport management ang nagse-set, but international organizations (ICAO, IATA).

      Ideally, since you are under medication, nag check ka kung pwede mo dalahin yung meds mo. Syempre be responsible din, hindi yung hindi maubusan ng sisihin. You can find the answer via simple google search, mas madami pa tayo oras na naubos magsagutan dito. You can hand carry liquid, each bottle 100ml ang capacity, ilalagay mo lang sa ziplock. Hindi naman siguro kasing laki ng coke sakto (~200 ml) yung bote ng gamot mo.

  17. kung ako nasa kalagayan ni Cesar tapos malaman na valid reason naman kung bakit nadelayed o nadivert.though may ibang tao talaga makapagreklamo lang,kapag inayos may reklamo kapag hinayaan may reklamo din. maaintindihan ko kahit magutom ako kugn sakali dahil kapakanan naman yan ng nakakarami buti nga inagapan para wala mapahamak.PERO syempre kung wala naman rason tapos ganyan nagyari baka higit pa dyan abutin baka magdemand ako ng refund lol!

    6. Liquids ang bawal. Last time I traveled with my toddlers, security inspected our hand-carry because the bottled baby foods look liquid in the x-ray, not to mention more than the quantity usually allowed on-board.

  19. Kasama ko po sya sa plane. Oreo at soft drink Lang po pinakain Samin. We arrived 1pm di kani pins labas ng plane until 6:30pm. May 2 po passenger na ambulansya dahil nahimatay na sa pagod at gutom. Ang reklamo poand namin lahat eh hindi kami inaccomodate agad ng airline para naman sana nakapagkain kami. May mga baby, buntis at senior citizens po kaming kasama sa eroplano.

    1. Protocol po ng lahat ng airline na irestrict kayo bumaba. To avoid being loaded with dangerous goods. Ano gusto nyo payagan kayo makababa pero may magakyat ng bomba ng hindi nyo alam? Magutom o maaksidente? Hindi kasalan ng airline na oreo and softdrinks lang maserve nila. Less than 2 hours lang po yung flight ang dala nilang pagkain saktong lang sa going and return flight hindi sila pwede mag magic ng pagkain. Binayaran nyo po ba yung pagkain na binigay sa inyo? Hindi db? So may ginawa po sila ng naaayon sa rules and standards na nakaset para sa mga airlines na mandated din ng CAAP.

    2. sa clark po kayo nagland.. wala pong iffice or hub ang philippine airlines doon na pwede magasikaso.. ang magagawa lang ng pal is makisuyo sa ibang office doon para mapakain kayo. this is unexpected. sa dami ng airline na nagland doon, malamang hindi rin kakayanin ng clark airport staff na pakainin lahat kayo ng sabay sabay. again, this is unexpected. nasa news naman, emergency repair ang ginawa sa runway ng naia. walang kailangan i-blame.

    6. Natawa naman ako sa mga reasoning ng ibang tao dito. Hindi puede mag deplane for security reasons baka magka bomba ang flight. Every aircraft on the ground has a designated security personnel to man it while on the ground. Limited access lang makaakyat sa plane during this time for safety reasons. Usually, flight deck and engineers lang. Yung mga pax na pina baba together with their hand carry bags, they will just be held at the boarding gate, dadaan ulit yan sa security checks, like xray machines bago paakyatin ng eroplano. Ganyan ang safety protocol ng lahat ng airlines. HIndi pinababa ang mga pasahero ng PAL flight na ito kasi malaking abala sa mga airport staff and security, yun lang yon.

  24. Sa Pinoy lang puedeng gawin ito. Pero sa mga foreigners and foreign airlines, this will not happen at all. The minute the pax are on board the aircraft, it's the airline's duty and responsibility to keep the pax safe and satisfied with the service. Special care and attention should be given to pax specially when flights are delayed regardless of the reason.

      Case in point: ang daming tao na lumilipas ang isang araw na walang kinakain. Maaring dahil sa kahirapan, maaring for medical reasons, maaring nag fa-fast (Catholics sa Holy Week, Muslims sa Ramadan).

Ang mga pasahero nakaupo lang, ang crew, pinagsisilbihan pa sila - kahit Oreo at softdrinks lang. Tao din sila, hindi robot.   32. Sana naiintindihan din natin na hindi ginusto ng airline na madelay at magdivert sa clark. May lubak ung runway sa naia may eroplano ng nasira kaya nirepair agad para nga sa safety ng pasahero un eh. Hindi kaya nung isang runway na ginagamit ang mga malalakeng eroplano para magland hindi handa ang lahat ng airline sa pagkakasira ng runway. Sapat na pagkain lamang ang nakaload sa eroplano para sa flight na 1hr and 30 mins wala din ground staff sa clark para makapag ayos ng pagkain ng mga pasahero. Limitado lng ang tubig at pagkain na nakaload saan natin inaasahan kumuha ng pagkain ang crew para ibigay sa atin wala din sila pagkain at kahit sila gusto na din makauwi.

  36. pasalamat ka cesar nakapaalerto ng ground aviation personnel and control tower para inform ang pilot for emergency landing otherwise masisira ang landing gear ng plane umusok at sumadsad pag nagkataon dun sila naglanding sa sirang runway mas malaki pa ang damage na mangyari....

Mr. Montano, ignorance of the law excuses no one. it is prohibited for airline carriers to deplane passengers unless it its their place of destination. it is not the fault of the airline. it was something that is beyond their control. their supplies were depleted and had to do with whatever was left. let it be a lesson for you to bring food at all times because you'll never know when you will need it.. Better to be safe than sorry. Kudos to MIAA GM ED MONREAL for his foresight and for being on top of the situation.

Last time Cebu Pacific iniwan ang pasahero sa India and now PAL, the govt should investigate these airlines, kung sa ibang bansa pa yan na sue na mga yan, dito we are so tolerable on their poor and inhuman services plus ang mahal pa ng pamasahe. Infairness ke Cesar it was very inconvenientband crazy how they were dealt with, me nahimatay na matanda on that plane. Imagine you go the airport an hour before your flight ( from gen san ang flight so like 2 hours) then 5 hours delay rerouted pa sa Clark and pinakain lang kayo ng Oreo wow

  43. The saddest about this yun problema ay preventable & can be easily fixed.

    Nag ka crack yun runaway pero if our MIAA personel are efficient na prevent ito at nagka remedy bef nasira.

    Sira ang aspalto pero yun nangyari talo pa ang terrorist blast. Parang pinasabog na yun NAIA pero may crack lng yun runaway.

  44. Yes, it's a runway issue. HIndi naman kasalanan ng NAIA ito eh. Hinold sa loob ng isang domestic flight ng PAL ang mga pax for almost 5 hours on the ground. Therefore, it's PAL's flight and ground crew's responsibility to take care of the passenger's welfare not NAIA. Gutom, uhaw, init at maybe anxiety attacks pa sa mga ibang pax ang nangyari on this incident.

  46. 7:04, hindi naman issue dito yung diversion eh. It's PAL's lack of concern to the state and well being of the pax on board the aircraft while they were held on the ground for more than 4 hours.

    1. I think so too. kung ung FA ay may sappar na pleasing personality at maganadang communication skills to explain everything di ba maiibsan yung init ng ulo mo. may mga staff talaga sa pal na nakakainit ng ulo. kung ayaw nyo trabaho nyo magresign kayo.

  47. Let put it this way, at least they can go home to their families safe and sound. The government took action right away to avoid accident. Either way people would still complain about anything because we are all impatience. Whinnying doesn't solve problems, it create more chaos instead.

  48. May lubak ang runway pero pina-board pa rin ang mga pasahero? HIndi na lang kinancel ang flight? Mas ginusto pa ng PAL na i-hostage tong mga pasahero, hindi pakainin at hindi painumin? Hindi pang-tao ang trato ng PAL ah.

  49. mr.montano sana naisip mo pano ka baba ng eroplano kng pagbukas ng pinto wala naman hagdan na bababaan?hindi mo ba alam na iilan lang ang airsteps sa clark?pano ka papakainin kng wala ng pagkain.hindi ginusto ng pal yan.isipin mo pati crew nila hindi din kmain katulad ng ibang pasahero.
