Pero yung mga babae naku tinititigan Lang Ako kahit alam Nila hirap Na Ako with may carry on luggage Kasi hirap Ako to put it dun Sa bin. I've never experienced that with United or Delta.
8:32 hindi ako FA pero ang pagkakaalam ko hindi nila trabaho na magbuhat ng hand carry ng passenger. Kaya nga hand carry eh its supposed to be light for you to lift unless your disabled siguro. But I agree masungit nga sila, not all naman for sure.
I pay the extra fare just to avoid PAL when I fly on business. Cabin service is trash. The only thing I like is the arrozcaldo in the mabuhay lounge hahaha

9:28 Tama ka kasi kung lahat nalang tutulungan nila to lift their carry on sa overhead bin, they will be at risk for injury kaya. It is the responsibility of the passenger to be able to lift their carry on hindi obligado ang flight attendant na tulungan ka. Kaya nga may weight limit diba kasi yun lang ang most likely na kaya buhatin ng pasahero onboard the aircraft.
Ang susungit tlg ng FA jan direct lng kc to LA ky ko gusto. Now its either Korean Air or Asiana na ko khit may layover. Pangit kc ng treatment nila sa mga passengers. My uncle had his toes amputated so my cousin asked for help para sa wheelchair. Wala mag board n di man lng cla binigyan so boycott n nmin lahat yan.

Travel Tip: Dapat ang hand carry luggage po ay MAGAAN lang. Pack yourself some personal necessities that you may need in the event of an emergency lay-over in a place that is not your intended destination.

The only bad experience I had with PAL was when we were not able to check in kc overbooked yung flight. They transferred us to another flight which made us wait at the airport for another 4 hours. Even if they gave a complimentary round trip domestic ticket and snacks, hassle pa din because it was a business travel. Nagulo ang sched namin.
Ay true! Walang wala sa Korean Air. Always smiling mga FA. Nako sa PAL pag pilipino ka deadma ka talaga pati ticketing staff sobrang susungit. Sumobra lang ng 1 guhit bagahe mo mumultahan ka na. Sa korea air okay lang kahit mag over ng kaunti. Once lang ako nag PAL, keber na kung may layover basta I love Korean air maaliwalas ang mga crew.
Kinda agree. Hubs has a former PAL employee colleague and he it seems is the rudest, laziest, most hardheaded and most hotheaded in their department. Caught one time in CCTV trying to punch another staff, that the sup warned him that they won't stop the other employee to file a police complaint against him should he decide to do so.
Hahaha! Sorry for rambling. That ex-PAL colleague is in the bottom of employee ratings. In short, the most likely to get terminated due to unbecoming conduct and mediocre work. And yes, it's kinda ironic really as he was terminated from PAL before for the same reasons and yet the guy is bragging about it. This time he's again in similar situation.

tried twice flying with PAL (aUS-pHIL) (HK-Phil) wala naman ako nexperienced pa kung hindi ung Loob ng plane parang ordinary lang sya lalo ung flooring na Ewan. i always fly with KLM and being a skyteam member kahit paano marami perks. at ang babait ng mga crews nila.

My family and I flew PAL two years ago for Christmas holiday/family reunion; and our luggage for some reason, failed to arrive with us to Manila. During the flight, while we didn't need much attending to, I observed that the flight attendants weren't so much as rude, but they were very dismissive and unapproachable. It was as though a passenger had to work for it before service is provided by the stewardesses. I mean, the nature of the job is customer service, so you kind of expect a higher level of service from the nation's flagship airline--to see some initiative to help or to be asked if you need any help or assistance, you know? Anyway, I just think that maybe the false sense of entitlement of the flight crew stems from their college degrees and the ignorant view that all Pinoys coming from abroad are OFWs, thus, are beneath them.

Downgrade pla ang airbus when they are the biggest airliner. Cheap lng ang PaL cant afford the double-decker A380 unlike SG Air lahat nman ng Airbus ay may build in video screen, complete p ang service, dami food, thats why i always fly SG & Emirates.
Desisyon ng PAL kung ano ang specs ng plane nila. They decide how many seats, how many rows of seats & even inflight entertainment are installed. Usually the crowded ones with common video screens are the older Airbus. But the newer planes which are more spacious and have individual inflight entertainment are the Boeing units.

Yung airbus na may hanging monitor that caters to several rows of pasengers. Masikip. Round the clock ang movies kaya annoying yung lights emitted by the screen. Tapos, di ka na pala bibigyan ng toiletries unless you ask for it. Nightmare.

You're very lucky! They're always 1 hour late to depart here in SFO and the last time I flew PAL domestically was in April and I waited in Laoag for 3 hours. Isn't there a saying...PAL-aging late? That's why I avoid using PAL and really only use it domestically so I'm not on a bus for 20+ hrs

it depends on the situation.. kung kasalanan mo kung bkit na miss mo ung flight you have no choice but to buy or rebooked you're ticket. Pero kung kasalanan ni airline, for example ngka schedule change at napa-aga ang flight at di ka na inform. just look for CRO (customer relation officer) sa airport and they will assist you.

Late sya e. At least the airline didn't give VIP treatment to her since there were other passengers already onboard. Hindi naman pwede dahil celebrity sya, i-delay na lang ang flight for her. What if it's the other way around? Sya yung onboard and may other person na late... so she will rant again, hating on the airline because she was inconvenienced. OMG! We had the same experience. We were flying LAX to MNL this time last year. My son, who was six at the time, said (as we were walking to our seats): "Mom, what's that smell?? Is is pee? I think someone peed on our seats!" It was embarrassing because everybody was looking at us, and the flight attendant, kept saying that she didn't smell anything, even when it did. I had to pull out some wet-ones packets to wipe our seats, but really it was stinky. I guess the stink just kind of stayed with us 'cause the smell dissipated overtime. In short, we probably smelled like urine, too. THANKS PAL!!!! #holysh*+
For 25 years I'm working outside the Philippines hanggang nag based na ako sa U.A.E.,isang beses lang akong sumakay ng PAL. But because of the bad experience I had from the ground staff to the flight stewardess I promised myself that would be the first and the last.
Pangit na nga ang airport, pangit pa ang mga airline. Ph really needs to shape up. Those who travel abroad will agree with me... napagiiwanan na ang Pinas! Ph has many resources and we have so much beauty, so many things to offer and yet we are soooo third world. Huhuhu
Ayoko nang PAL. Hindi malinis ang bathroom, run out of tissue pa. Then sabihin nila choices nang food. Pag choice ka sabi ubos. SIra , di na lang sabihin kung anong meron. Luggage hindi dumating, tatlong araw pabalikbalik sa airport. Then noon dumating bukas na. Then going home late yun flight at mahina ang aircoon. Naiwan kami sa connecting flight yun natulog nalang kami sa airport.
I love flyng PAL. Never had a bad experience with them. Pati family ko. Super maasikaso mga FA nila sa people with children and mga senior citizen. Sa mga US na airline wala sila paki kung mag anak ka or mtanda ka they will not go the extra mile for you.

Naalala ko pauwi na kami ng baby ko sa pinas tapos hindi ako pinapayagang mag check in nung clerk kasi daw walang consent ng ama. During that time hindi pa kami married ng husband ko so since ako ang mother sakin ang custody at di na kelangan ng mga parental consent echos, kasi nakapunta nga kami ng us na walang ganun e. So sabi ko sa clerk, uuwi nga kami ng pinas e para magkita sila ng daddy niya so bakit hindi papayag yung tatay?? Ang labo nila and very rude yung clerk ng PAL, pinaririnig talaga niya yung issue sa other passengers. Pabida. Buti nalang may kaibigan ako na nagwowork sa PAL sabi sakin wala naman silang ganun na rules, kaya naisakay ko yung bata. Dumating pa sa point na nagviber at email ng written consent form yung hubby ko para lang makasakay kami. Pangit talaga service and ugali ng mga ground people at FA nila.
mother, research muna country law regarding travel w. minors w/ 1 parent only lalo na if you have a different last name than your child bago reklamo. if you were in the states, that's not PAL policy, that's the law.
oh this is not good for PAL! di na kami sumasakay ng PAL since nagkaroon ng Cebu Pac service (cheap ako eh) dito sa amin. i think domestic service is better than international one. un nga lang domestic is always late, never experienced a late int'l flight.

I feel you girl. I'm a Filipino-American in Cali and a self-confessed wanderlust and travelbug. I flew in PAL twice in my entire life and I hated their services and they lacked customer service. To think I'm Filipino but they're even worst dealing with their own people. So I totally agree. Calling PAL to improve your services. What a shame because it carried Philippines name on it.

And I must say,hindi porket English speaking countries ka pinanganak e perfect na ang spelling or grammar nila. Here in Aus,madami bad spellers from my observation. nah ante hindi pa ako nakakasakay ng PAL pero sa rebooking palang masasabi mo na pangit pag nag-book ka sa PAL. imagine mag rerebook ka, yong rebooking charges and all eh equivalent nong pamasahe mo? ahahahaha kaya nga nag book ka sa kanila kahit mahal kasi ine-expect mo na pag rebooking charges hindi na ganon kamahal.. mas mahal pa ang rebooking charges nila kaysa Cebu Pacific ahahahaha
I haven't really experienced rude FAs from PAL but I can say their FAs need more training (at least this particular FA who attended to me). I was suffering from a bad case of allergic rhinitis then & I wanted to take my meds & decongest my stuffy nose so I asked the FA for warm water. The FA told me they don't have warm water, only hot one. I asked her if she has bottled water & she said yes; I then instructed her how to make the water "warm" (which I believe she could've done on her own had she bothered to use her common sense). When it comes to service, I love SG Air, the FAs are really welcoming & even my kids like them so we take SG Air or Silk Air (for short haul flights) whenever we can. Among the airlines I've flown in, the ones I didn't like are Air Asia (both domestic & intl), Cebu Pacific (both domestic & intl), and Jet Airways.
Ano ba kasi ngayari? I know PAL's customer service sucks, pero baka naman nagmaVIP si ate napalate at naiwan ng eroplano? Mga celebrities kasi usually ganyan ang kuda kahit sila may kasalanan.
I never had a problem with PAL. I've been flying with them everytime I visit Philippine. Minsan naman kasi maarte mga Pilipino kailangan may magbuhat para sa kailangan. I am very independent I like to put my own luggage overhead. Hindi naman kasi sila katulong. Wag paimportane and think that the world revolves around you.
So ikaw naman ngayon nakulangan sa "s". First of totoong late siya, pero tignan mo muna yung anggulong nagparebook siya at naging rude na siguro mga staff. And yes you like to put your luggage, good for you if you are independent. Iba kasi maliit at hindi abot. Iba nga kahit kaya naman ilagay luggage nila overhead automatic ng nagaassist yung iba.
Aminin na natin, talagang hindi kagandahan ang service ng PAL pati ng terminal nila. Nagdidiscriminate pa, pag di ka mukhang rich, di ka bibigyan ng best service.
saka spelling, tingin ko she knows the spelling, some people lang tlg uses urban language and spells words as they're being pronounced. Everybody does that. super naman tayo maka tirada.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to be able to lift their carry on hindi obligado ang flight attendant na tulungan ka. Kaya nga may weight limit diba kasi yun lang ang most likely na kaya buhatin ng pasahero onboard the aircraft.

DeleteThe only bad experience I had with PAL was when we were not able to check in kc overbooked yung flight. They transferred us to another flight which made us wait at the airport for another 4 hours. Even if they gave a complimentary round trip domestic ticket and snacks, hassle pa din because it was a business travel. Nagulo ang sched namin.

DeleteMy family and I flew PAL two years ago for Christmas holiday/family reunion; and our luggage for some reason, failed to arrive with us to Manila. During the flight, while we didn't need much attending to, I observed that the flight attendants weren't so much as rude, but they were very dismissive and unapproachable. It was as though a passenger had to work for it before service is provided by the stewardesses. I mean, the nature of the job is customer service, so you kind of expect a higher level of service from the nation's flagship airline--to see some initiative to help or to be asked if you need any help or assistance, you know? Anyway, I just think that maybe the false sense of entitlement of the flight crew stems from their college degrees and the ignorant view that all Pinoys coming from abroad are OFWs, thus, are beneath them.

DeleteDesisyon ng PAL kung ano ang specs ng plane nila. They decide how many seats, how many rows of seats & even inflight entertainment are installed. Usually the crowded ones with common video screens are the older Airbus. But the newer planes which are more spacious and have individual inflight entertainment are the Boeing units.

ReplyDeleteYou're very lucky! They're always 1 hour late to depart here in SFO and the last time I flew PAL domestically was in April and I waited in Laoag for 3 hours. Isn't there a saying...PAL-aging late? That's why I avoid using PAL and really only use it domestically so I'm not on a bus for 20+ hrs

ReplyDeleteit depends on the situation.. kung kasalanan mo kung bkit na miss mo ung flight you have no choice but to buy or rebooked you're ticket. Pero kung kasalanan ni airline, for example ngka schedule change at napa-aga ang flight at di ka na inform. just look for CRO (customer relation officer) sa airport and they will assist you.

ReplyDeleteOMG! We had the same experience. We were flying LAX to MNL this time last year. My son, who was six at the time, said (as we were walking to our seats): "Mom, what's that smell?? Is is pee? I think someone peed on our seats!" It was embarrassing because everybody was looking at us, and the flight attendant, kept saying that she didn't smell anything, even when it did. I had to pull out some wet-ones packets to wipe our seats, but really it was stinky. I guess the stink just kind of stayed with us 'cause the smell dissipated overtime. In short, we probably smelled like urine, too. THANKS PAL!!!! #holysh*+

After that experience, I don't fly with PAL anymore. Korean Air na ako. Sobrang helpful ng mga Korean crew lalo na sa mga nanay na may dalang anak.
ReplyDeleteNaalala ko pauwi na kami ng baby ko sa pinas tapos hindi ako pinapayagang mag check in nung clerk kasi daw walang consent ng ama. During that time hindi pa kami married ng husband ko so since ako ang mother sakin ang custody at di na kelangan ng mga parental consent echos, kasi nakapunta nga kami ng us na walang ganun e. So sabi ko sa clerk, uuwi nga kami ng pinas e para magkita sila ng daddy niya so bakit hindi papayag yung tatay?? Ang labo nila and very rude yung clerk ng PAL, pinaririnig talaga niya yung issue sa other passengers. Pabida. Buti nalang may kaibigan ako na nagwowork sa PAL sabi sakin wala naman silang ganun na rules, kaya naisakay ko yung bata. Dumating pa sa point na nagviber at email ng written consent form yung hubby ko para lang makasakay kami. Pangit talaga service and ugali ng mga ground people at FA nila.
ReplyDeletemother, research muna country law regarding travel w. minors w/ 1 parent only lalo na if you have a different last name than your child bago reklamo. if you were in the states, that's not PAL policy, that's the law.
Deleteoh this is not good for PAL! di na kami sumasakay ng PAL since nagkaroon ng Cebu Pac service (cheap ako eh) dito sa amin. i think domestic service is better than international one. un nga lang domestic is always late, never experienced a late int'l flight.

Pero pag ibang lahi ang ngite nila abot sa bisong. Kaya delta na ako pag ka tapos non. Yayabang ng mga pilipino minsan sarap batukan!

DeleteI feel you girl. I'm a Filipino-American in Cali and a self-confessed wanderlust and travelbug. I flew in PAL twice in my entire life and I hated their services and they lacked customer service. To think I'm Filipino but they're even worst dealing with their own people. So I totally agree. Calling PAL to improve your services. What a shame because it carried Philippines name on it.

ReplyDeleteThis is sad. Kapag Pinoy, mali ang English, pinagtatawanan, sinasabing jeje. Pero kapag foreigner, okay lang kasi she's german (or whatever race Pinoy think are superior). Not bashing you, pero just my observation.
DeleteAmerican si Karlie with Danish roots. Born in Chicago so I assume first language niya ang English. And I must say,hindi porket English speaking countries ka pinanganak e perfect na ang spelling or grammar nila. Here in Aus,madami bad spellers from my observation. Ang difference lng tlaga pag Pinoy e sobrang judgmental o yun nga, ngppaka-grammar nazi kahit hindi naman yun ung main issue or wala naman significance un sa issue.
DeleteAnong sad ka diyan? 12:12 grabe nga mampuna sakaniya eh. But yes she was born in chicago so first language niya iyon. But you'll be shocked that they always use "flys" instead with an "i". it goes to other words they mispell but don't care about it. And the grammar is correct but not the spelling.

ReplyDeletenah ante hindi pa ako nakakasakay ng PAL pero sa rebooking palang masasabi mo na pangit pag nag-book ka sa PAL. imagine mag rerebook ka, yong rebooking charges and all eh equivalent nong pamasahe mo? ahahahaha kaya nga nag book ka sa kanila kahit mahal kasi ine-expect mo na pag rebooking charges hindi na ganon kamahal.. mas mahal pa ang rebooking charges nila kaysa Cebu Pacific ahahahaha

DeleteI haven't really experienced rude FAs from PAL but I can say their FAs need more training (at least this particular FA who attended to me). I was suffering from a bad case of allergic rhinitis then & I wanted to take my meds & decongest my stuffy nose so I asked the FA for warm water. The FA told me they don't have warm water, only hot one. I asked her if she has bottled water & she said yes; I then instructed her how to make the water "warm" (which I believe she could've done on her own had she bothered to use her common sense).
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to service, I love SG Air, the FAs are really welcoming & even my kids like them so we take SG Air or Silk Air (for short haul flights) whenever we can.
Among the airlines I've flown in, the ones I didn't like are Air Asia (both domestic & intl), Cebu Pacific (both domestic & intl), and Jet Airways.
Ano ba kasi ngayari? I know PAL's customer service sucks, pero baka naman nagmaVIP si ate napalate at naiwan ng eroplano? Mga celebrities kasi usually ganyan ang kuda kahit sila may kasalanan.

DeleteI never had a problem with PAL. I've been flying with them everytime I visit Philippine. Minsan naman kasi maarte mga Pilipino kailangan may magbuhat para sa kailangan. I am very independent I like to put my own luggage overhead. Hindi naman kasi sila katulong. Wag paimportane and think that the world revolves around you.
ReplyDeleteSo ikaw naman ngayon nakulangan sa "s". First of totoong late siya, pero tignan mo muna yung anggulong nagparebook siya at naging rude na siguro mga staff. And yes you like to put your luggage, good for you if you are independent. Iba kasi maliit at hindi abot. Iba nga kahit kaya naman ilagay luggage nila overhead automatic ng nagaassist yung iba.
DeleteAminin na natin, talagang hindi kagandahan ang service ng PAL pati ng terminal nila. Nagdidiscriminate pa, pag di ka mukhang rich, di ka bibigyan ng best service.
ReplyDeletesaka spelling, tingin ko she knows the spelling, some people lang tlg uses urban language and spells words as they're being pronounced. Everybody does that. super naman tayo maka tirada.
