      Delete
    3. Kaloka ka. Hindi naman first time matalo ni Nora sa Urian. Natalo na sya/sila (Vilma Santos, Claudine Barretto) ni Judy Ann Santos (Sabel) nung 2004.

    4. did you even watch any of the movies? We all know the Nora is Nora, but that doesn't mean nobody's better than her in any other movies.

      Delete
    5. 10.29 Pinanood mo ba ang work nung ibang candidates?

      Delete
    6. Why? Because Nora Aunor is THE superstar? It's not based on previous movies done or status, it's based on the movies submitted. kung ang basehan mo e lahat ng movies na nagawa, then I would have to question JLC's winning too. it's like saying that JLC is better that John Arcilla, Lou Veloso and Ricky Davao overall, and that is a complete bs, because even Sid Lucero is way better than JLC. But JLC did a really, really great job in Honor thy Father that' s why he won. And I agree.

    10. Anon 10:29 probably the same reason baket di sya nabigyan ng award sa Cannes.

    11. 11:24 si nora ang topic dito, naligaw ka ata... and so? magaling ka pa sa mga critiques ganern?

    12. The judges usually based their criteria on how good an actor is on the movie that is being reviewed this year not on the previous years so, an actor vying for this year's category may outshine other talents because he/she is excptionally good in this particular role. A multi awarded actress like Nora should not vie

  2. wow, congratulations to Heneral Luna, JLC and LJ Reyes.. I was actually rooting for Alex de Rossi for Best actress pero I liked LJ too. Nora was good as always (superstar!!), but if we're just basing from the movies on the list, I super agree with either LJ or Alex.

  3. CONGRATS TO LJ. I LOVE BOTH HER AND ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI. I SPECIFICALLY LOVE THEM BOTH SA MAGPAKAILANMAN EPISODE WHERE THEY PLAY THE WIFE AND MISTRESS OF A GUY I CAN'T REMEMBER NA. GREAT ACTRESSES. KEEP IT UP.

  4. sobrang under rated si lj reyes. nagustuhan ko siya ever since napanood ko siya sa cinemalaya nya. intoy syokoy i think yung title. congrats!

    3. I watched that film din. Intoy syokoy. Fan ako ni jm as an actor, and nung napanood ko ung movie, I realized magaling din si LJ, at oar with JM. Understated, natural. Hindi malasoap opera ang acting

  5. wow best supporting actor si Mama Yo from Single/Single. congrats.

      Delete
    2. 11:42 pa'nong nasasayang ang talento dahil sa di kagalingan ng promo ng gma? saan galing yang logic mo? it's the people who're too stupid to not look on talents instead go fight over who's the best network and if they're bet celebs are famous(gumagaan kasi pakiramdam nila na iniidolo nila sikat- di dahil may talent, kundi sikat lang)... i watch both networks and I can name many who are are promising actors and i don't care kung sikat sila. It's the filipino mentality dear. Sa ibang bansa walang keme keme about hyping the artists. It's the artists who name themselves.

Kasuka!

    4. LJ is a good actress, its just that only few people have watched her indie projects kaya ilan lang ang nakakapansin dito. I don't think GMA is a total failure in packaging their talents.

      Delete
    6. 11:12 PM, one of the factors that makes an actor or actress bankable is the "masa appeal". Chynna and Glaiza has a specific niche audience so although they're both beautiful and talented, hindi ko masasabing pang-bakya crowd ang appeal nila. Glaiza's fanbase alone mainly comprises of rakistas and artist-type of individuals. Nonetheless, bankability is not issue for these two since they're really here to showcase their pure artistry.

  7. I haven't seen Anino Sa Likod Ng Buwan, pero mahusay talaga si LJ. She gives justice to any role given to her and you can see the desirability in her. She loves what she's doing.

  8. Congrats lj

  10. Medyo matatanda na ang members ng Urian. I don't think they would appreciate romcom movies. They would lean towards heavy drama films.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Excuse, meron bang romcom movie that's worth an award eh puro kababawan at pakilig lang naman mga yan?! Chaka!

  11. Mukhang mahusay nga talaga ang performance ni LJ for this movie.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow! Happy ako for LJ.

  14. Iba talaga kapag Urian nominee at awardee.

  15. Ten..twenty years from now, people would still remember John Arcilla for that unforgettable and vivid portrayal of Heneral Luna. How I wish I could say the same with John Lloyd Cruz in Honor Thy Father. Thanks Cinema One.
