    1. Yeah tama ka. In my opinion nga sana maging politician si Lea..opinion ko lang..

    2. I agree with you. Maybe it's her communication style, very honest and direct. Nevertheless I find her thoughts interesting and thought-provoking.

    3. "Youth For Life - Y4L" on Facebook keeps on contradicting her every statement! I really want to cyber punch them.

      Delete
    4. No, she's really just mean. She's not a nice person at all. Her veiled insults towards even the most ardent of her followers makes you want to slap her and say "You're not all that, you know."

    5. may superiority complex kasi yang si tita lea.

      Delete
    6. 2:39 true that. Miss know-it-all pa.

    7. Ang hindi kasi maintindihan ni tita lea since babae siya eh she is CONTRADICTING HERSELF by her first statement...

Marriage Equality has everything to do with whatever religion and the Bible.

    8. Hindi pa marunong umamin da pagkakamali. Recently, and haba ng post dahil do makayanang magsabi ng "sorry, I was wrong". Pwe!

Sensitive masyado. kaya nga hindi tayo umaasenso kasi we settle to what we are used to, not because it's right but because we are too lazy to fight against the norm.

      Delete
Ang dami nating kilalang "brutally honest" personalities, but they don't get as much flak as Tita Leah does. That speaks volumes as to what kind of person she is.

      Delete
  2. Her stand is hypocritical as she always think that she is better than everyone else.

      Delete
    2. She happens to be right on this one.

      Delete
    3. Anon 9:17. But 12:32's opinion mattered to you. Lol.

  3. Bigyan yan ng soapbox! There is no such thing as equality dear. Do you think a no name, nobody, poor person is equal to you?

    1. Oh my, you missed the point entirely. She means equal rights to everyone, just like they have in many advanced countries.

      Delete
    2. As usual kuda lang ng kuda si ateng 12:38 equality in terms of human rights, mayaman man o mahirap, babae man o lalaki, bakla man o tomboy. HUMAN RIGHTS angpinaglalaban ni Lea.

      Delete
    3. Anon 3:04 PM... are you blind? Equal rights to everyone? Walang equal rights. You must be mistaking "equal rights" sa "separate but equal rights".

      Delete
    4. Why would I listen about human rights and equality from someone who has such low regard for people who commit even the most trivial of grammar errors, then brand them as intellectually inferior? Pray, tell.

  4. I think most of the violent reactions to her tweets are from some readers who prefer to just swing to the other side even if the thought is reasonable. Dunno how to describe it, but that they are in combat mode most of the time? Or they just don't get it, and prefer to react by lashing out. Worse, some become personal in their attacks, based on how they perceive her. When somebody doesn't mince her words with her views, and prefers to call a spade a spade, it doesn't mean the person is arrogant and know-it-all.

I guess it's also a matter pf preference. Some like it frank and direct, others prefer it long and flowery. Some enjoys critical thinking/discussions, others go for meaningless small talks.

    1. Another Lea fan who thinks he's better than nonfans.... So you think being a Lea fantard makes you superior over nonfans? That everything she utters is understood only by the intellectual elite?... Puhleeze....

      Delete
    2. 2:51 Your reply is m***nic. Not connected at all to the post. Nobody said anything about being superior. You've no right to call others "fantard" just because their thoughts are similar with that of a public persona.

      Delete
    3. 356. It has everything to do with the post. This is typical Lea fantard mentality - We Lea fans prefer critical thinking, you peasants enjoy meaningless small talk. Kayo na ang superior.

    4. 2:51, wag mo ng patulan yang si 1:25, nakikipag-pataasan long ng *h* yan, feeling lea salonga na rin. #suskopo

    5. It all boils down to freedom of speech ; everybody has a right to express his own opinion whether you agree or not bahala ka na sa buhay mo ; Leah is Leah and we all know shes opinionated so lets keave her alone

  5. Gusto ko yung mga tweets niya. Hindi sugar coated. Direct to the point.

    1. Stop defending her with these "hindi sugar-coated," "she's just frank," and other excuses for this vile creature. Please be open-minded enough to accept that Lea is not perfect.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Who said she's perfect? Opinion niya iyon. If we happen to agree to her, wag mo kaming pakialaman.

      Delete

    5. Agree. She is right naman.

People have different beliefs esp When it comes to this issue most especially nasa Pilipinas ka.. If I were you close your mouth if ayaw mo lumabas sa mga balita at magiging opinion Ng Tao towards sayo...

  8. You have to be open-minded to get her.

    1. 1:45 you have to be open minded to the opinion on everyone.. kahit sa opinion ng tinatawag mong "makikitid ang mga utak". contradicting ang argument mo.

  9. it's ok to voice your opinion but to shove it down other people's throat? no way. and the manner she delivers it has that "my-opinion-matter-than-yours" drift -birdering on arrogance even

  10. I like her tweets. Honest, direct, and thought-provoking. The hate and violent reaction of some are misplaced.

    ReplyDelete
  12. …it all boils down to her kayabangan. kahit nasa lugar, masyadong maangas lang magsalita as if she is the only person who knows everything.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Whatever. Ako I like Ms. Lea and her tweets kasi napapa.isip ako eh. Derecho, walang ek ek, always confident on her thoughts & opinions, and her sarcastic humor na pang.sosyal type na type ko. Hehe! Just go on Ms. Lea. Screw those haters! Hmpf

  14. Well, she is right though.

  15. If you always get misunderstood, then maybe you're the problem. So just shut up and keep your comments to yourself.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Silence is more often misunderstood. As for her tweet(s), either you don't understand the way it was communicated (language barrier), or your set of beliefs and views prevent you to see the other side of the coin; hence, the thought is misunderstood.

      Delete
    2. She's too proud to admit her faults.

      Delete
    3. Anon 9:51 - The issue is her tone/register. No problems with her views whatsoever. It's just that she comes across as a mean person in some of her tweets. And she's been known to shoot down some of her followers for faulty grammar or for disagreeing with her views.

      Delete
  16. I thought she was smarter. How she defended her own stand was too shallow in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I also wonder why people find her posts arrogant? She's just frank, opinionated and direct to the point. We are not used to celebrities like that though - lumaki tayo sa mga celebrities na patweetums, mga movies na an bida ay naaapi at sa mga politico na Kung Saan ang nananalo ay an yung may underdog image

    3. Walang logic yang pinagsasabi mo, anon 9:29. I hate corrupt politicians, terrorists, etc... Insecure ako sa kanila, ganern?

  19. madali lang yan, tita lea. the catholic religion does not accept homesexuality. you are in the philippines, an overwhelmingly catholic country. you yourself are a catholic. how do you reconcile your religion's stance and the civil rights equality you're espousing? di ba this is you wanting it both ways? pick a side and stick to it.

Kudos to you, darling Lea! Thanks for your influence! Modern-day heroine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. The thing here is, she's NOT doing anything wrong to anybody nor to herself. Why complain about something you did not comprehend well?! You even have the confidence to still prove that you are right! What a shame!!
