I agree with Madam Auring. Although unquestionably, GMA dominates over news and public affairs, we can't say the same thing for ABSCBN over entertainment. For one, waley na silang napoproduce na decent comedy show unlike Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto or unlike their defunct shows before such as Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata and Home Along Da Riles. When it comes to drama, they don't have outstanding or fresh narratives to offer like My Husband's Lover or Rhodora X. Walang hanggang rich-boy-poor-girl tropes na lang. Nag-eexcel lang sila sa reality show adaptations, which isn't very commendable either because preference for Filipino creativity is always a categorical imperative. LOL

Eat Bulaga is an institution and not just a show anymore. Huge credit to the production. Their ingenuity to reinvent EB is incomparable.

DeleteI agree with Madam Auring. Although unquestionably, GMA dominates over news and public affairs, we can't say the same thing for ABSCBN over entertainment. For one, waley na silang napoproduce na decent comedy show unlike Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto or unlike their defunct shows before such as Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata and Home Along Da Riles. When it comes to drama, they don't have outstanding or fresh narratives to offer like My Husband's Lover or Rhodora X. Walang hanggang rich-boy-poor-girl tropes na lang. Nag-eexcel lang sila sa reality show adaptations, which isn't very commendable either because preference for Filipino creativity is always a categorical imperative. LOL

DeleteLove this tandem. Alden and Maine are good role models for this generation. Alden exudes the boy next door image (good kid, humble, good looking) while, Maine is a college grad, beautiful, and comes from a good family. They have a way to inspire young people. God Aldub!

Ang Jowapao nag-co-complement with each other and nakakatulong sa pagshine ng aldub tandem. may pakilig, may aral, maty tawanan at may kaiinisan kaya yan patok sa lahat. I mean lahat hindi lang sa masa kundi sa alahat ng antas ng pamumuhay. below poverty line, middle class, class A & B na alta. hindi lang isang demographics ng manonood ang tinamaan ng kilig kundi lahat ng antas ng lipunan. hindi na kumpleto ang isang araw ng buhay ng mga Pilipino kung hindi makakapanood ng aldub sa EB. kaya congrats Alden and Maine. Congrats to EB. Rock on!
