    Sa totoo lng, di talaga bebenta si gerphil sa pgt. Gusto kasi nila ai, kris at lalaking may bigote na may back story ng kahirapon ex, jovit baldivino, marcelino pomoy. Masa appeal. At least objective ang agt. Goodluck gerphil! Ikaw na ang nxt charice! Sana lng d ka maging boy. Hhehehee

      Yan ang hirap dito sa pinas kapag may talent contest gusto may drama they don't look at the talent. Kahit hindi manalo si Gerphil sa AGT sure na yan kukunin ni David Foster

      Ay di nagets ni ate yung explanation ni gerphil nun. Slow. Ang sabi nia hindi sukatan ang ibang dialect para maappreciate ng isang tao ang isang song, nasa melody yun. At pls wag kang nega.

      Eh kung sa hindi nga pang finals ang performance nung bata eh. Sigaw lang ng sigaw, marami pa sablay sa performance nya. Marami pang deseving na mapasok sa finals gaya ng Time Machine at yung isa pang bata na pinay na kumakanta at nagpipiano naman. Kung panonoorin mo yung performance nya nung semi finals ai david foster na nagsabi na may sablay sya. And kung titignan mo yung final performance nya wala lang as in sobra boring sinisigaw lang yung salitang 'titanium'.

      the little girl can sing. pero kanta na nga lang yung talent nya, hindi pa kagalingan. look at gerphil, kakaiba talaga. overrated lang talaga yung batang babae. baka pag si darren ang sumali sa agt standing ovation pa. mas talented pa yung nagbeat box e. nagtaka nga ko bakit wala yun sa semis.

      why not? malaki ang market ng classical and Orchestra sa America not unlike sa Philippines na puro love songs lang ang bumibenta at wrong judges lang ang natapatan nia because of those bff kuno na nagpplastikan e parehong emotera yun e... I believe in David Foster's promise! Go Gerphil

      @Anon 2:05. Hindi po falsetto yun, it's soprano. Clearly, you're not inclined to classical music. At sa mga taong nagsasabing she does not have a market, you guys are plainly funny. Hindi siya pang mainstream should be the right term. Yung boses niya yung tipong kumakanta lang sa harap ng Royal family sa England o yung sa upper class na may ibang idiosyncrasies. Classical singers are actually paid more kada performance nila.

      Susme soprano or falsetto hindi pa rin yan normal voice. It means anybody can reach a high note in falsetto singing which is what she's doing. Even i can reach high notes if i don't use my normal voice. Nagulat lang ang mga judges na someone from a third world country could sing classical music. Yun lang yun.

      1:40am naka produce na tayo ng mga Prima Ballerina, Tony Award winner, international concert pianists, Broadway and West End performers, and don;t forget the Madrigal singers. I doubt if anyone with sense will get "surprised" that there are classical singers in the country.

      Korek, sa Pinas di ma-appreciate ang classical music. Kaya no wonder nahihirapan si Gerphil i-push ang talent niya sa Pinas. Hindi limited ang market for Gerphil if global market ang usapan. Ang limited ay ang mga singer na may ganyang talento. Malaking sampal kina kris at ai-ai ang pag reject kay Gerphil pero ok na din kasi the rejection leads Gerphil to this journey.     I love Gerphil! Even though she doesnt win, I don't think David Foster would let her go. No one does classic (and nails it the way she does) anymore that's why I find her unique and refreshing. Look at Susan Boyle of BGT, she didn't win but she's more famous than the winners. It doesn't matter if Gerphil wins or not, her international career is secured anyways.

      Jackie Evancho of AGT didn't win too but the teenager now just recently performed with Andrea Bocelli "Con Te Partiro". I'd love to see Gerphil and Jackie perform together :) Talented and pretty girls!

    Ang ganda ng voice ni Gerphil, di ako fan pero ivo-vote ko siya. Hindi sa pa mean ako pero ang awkward na ang daming Pinoy sa AGT. Sana isa o dalawa lang. Pag pumunta ka sa FB ng AGT, puro Pilipino post ng post ang gugulo pa. May part dun na Q&A nung Chinese contestant tapos yung mga Pinoy puro tungkol sa Spratly yung tanong. Medyo nakakahiya. :(

    Sa lahat ng acts, si Gerphil lng ang may chance na sumikat worldwide! Ang El Gamma at JNS, manalo man yan hindi naman kakagatin ng buong mundo yung talents nila... ang El Gamma pag naubusan na ng mga sensational at dramatc issues, waley na yan. Yung issues lng naman ang nagdadala sa performance nila hindi naman mismo yung shadow play, halos puro cut-outs lng naman yun hindi pa nila ma-perfect. Yung horse nga na shadow sobrang funny and its not impressive at all. Try to remember Susan Boyle, and Jackie Evancho, sila lang naman ang sumikat ng husto, and they're classical singers... So please lng, wag ng hawain ng voting public ng Pinas ang buong Asia. Sobrang disappointing talaga pumili ng winners ang mga Pilipino. A lot of talents are wasted because of the filipino voting public. I salute you Fashion Pulis for supporting Gerphil, world class talaga ang taste mo! Tapos pag sikat na si Gerphil, at nabaon na sa limot ang El Gamma, proud to be pinoy na naman sila!

    Ang level ng talent ni Gerphil is something very rare, kaya nga super confident ni David Foster na mag-promise, because he is a fan of big voices gaya ni Charice na napasikat naman nya kung hindi lng nagloko si Charice, mas sikat pa sya ngayon. Ang El Gamma, manalo man yan, mababaon lng din sa limot yan gaya ng iba pang winners sa PGT, pwede lng sila sa mga ads, campaigns, pero an entire 2 hour show na puro shadows lng, ewan ko na lang kung di ka antukin jan... There is no chance na sisikat sila worldwide, I've seen better acts in this level of talents...Mejo nainis lang ako na gumagamit pa sila ng charity para manalo, kesyo ibibigay daw nila sa charity yung prize. Puro na lng drama, jan kasi magaling ang pinoy sa drama, kaya pati sa pagpili ng mga politiko nadadan pa rin sa drama...

      agree! intro pa lang mesmerizing na. and did you notice, meron shang "drama" sa pag kanta nya? her facial expression, her eyes, kitang kita mo na she is performing and feeling her song! grabe! i used to have el gamma as my number one vote pero noong napanood ko yung final song ni gerphil, my gawd! para ngang hindi contest eh! para sha talagang diva sa isang concierto!

She is the total package - golden classical voice, passionate and dedicated performer, intelligent, articulate, humble and very beautiful! She epitomizes the best in Filipino artists and she would be the perfect ambassador for showcasing Asian (and Filipino) talent to the World. El Gamma is quite limited in their presentation and issues to tackle, and I cannot see people buying tickets to see them perform, unlike Gerphil who is the possibly the next big star in classical and crossover music.

      Precisely. I cannot imagine watching a 2 hour show/concert featuring El Gamma or JNS After 2 acts, may sawa factor na Gerphil can mesmerize the audience for 2 full hours and not get bored. Mas madali siyang pasikatin and may longevity ang career kasa sa dancers/shadow play.

      Tamang tama ka jan, Beautiful, Talented, Humble, Eloquent...lahat nasa kanya na...Kaya syang gawin ni David Foster na next Charlotte Church or Sarah Brightman, Lea did not make it that popular in the mainstream music industry gaya ng nagawa ni David Foster kina Josh Groban, more on broadway lng sya... Sana sya na ang first asian na makilala sa buong mundo in her genre!

      She need to be edgy! Brightman is one of the first artist to do great in classical crossover. In terms of skills and techniques she need pull of more strings. I heard alot of singer from purist classical singers to cross overs suh as Maria Callas to Tarja Turunen . Her voice is not that extraordinary.

      I didn't mean that 9:03. And besides she's a cross -over one. Kailangan niyang maging unique and as for a cross-over. She need to have the edge and uniqueness in her, which I can't hear or see yet in her. Cross-over are sometimes not even consider classical singers. If you're into classicals you'll know what I mean.

    I voted for all of the Pinoy finalists, pati yung yung kid. Pero I voted more for El Gamma Penumbra :)

    Could you imagine that El Gamma and Gerphil lost in PGT?!! Tapos ang nalo yung trio of singing oldies instead of El Gamma. I also remembered Gerphil's audition. Kris told her to change her genre and singing style. LOLOLOLOL.

    Ako rin kay Gerphil ako.

    Ang shadow play impressive ang message ng act pero sa huling performance nila, I wonder kung hindi sila nagkakalat hehehehe. Saka kahit ako kaya kong gawin yan. Basta normal na tao ka, matutunan mo yan.

    Ang JNS naman, fierce, masaya namang panooring pero feeling ko pag dinala ko ang mga judges sa barangay dance contest, mapapagod sila sa standing ovation. Normal na sa pinas yan haha. Pero infairness, mahirap din pagaralan ang dance. Mas madali kung inborn talent mo na.

    Si Gwen, cute sya pero yung birit nya, sigaw eh. Di ko type. Pero bata pa, mahahasa pa yan.

    Kay Gerphil ako, kasi nga kahit anong practice ang gawin mo, kung di ka talaga singer, mawawalan ka na ng esophagus, di mo pa rin maachieve ang ganyang klaseng boses! Haha. Go gerphil! World class talent yan!

    Yes. A high note that goes even higher at the end. That is rare. I was in awe and Anggun was right, given that Gerphil is already a beautiful girl but during the finals night she really shined.

    I agree also about sa el gamma, their audition piece was indeed magical and something new especially for people na first time makakita ng ganon but watching their 3rd performance mahahalata mo na na puro cut outs na lang. And besides have you guys seen their videos in yt? Nagpeperform na sila in dubai and bangkok to name a few. Like they don't need to win this contest anymore kasi established na sila. So for AGT I go for Gerphil.

    I choose Gerphyl! That voice is a symbol of hard work! You cannot acquire that talent in a month or a year. That is learned from a young age to present.....continuous practice, discipline, and an excellent vocal technique from an excellent voice teacher.

    David Foster wouldn't be emotional on his feet cheering Gerphil if it was not a quality voice. Our very own Lea Salonga and Regine Velasquez was amazed by her performance as well. Wow! That was classic'ly wonderful!
