    4. It was actually a certain group that Widodo talked to. It's an Indonesian group for migrant workers (if my memory serves me right). I'm just not quite sure what the name is. It wasn't really PNoy.

    5. @1:32am seriously nanuod kb? So I must say that he did a great job.

    6. I'm not 12:16 AM, and I watched the news. Not a fan of this government, but for once, I am proud of our President. Clearly, he proved that he's worthy of his position (though it doesn't happen all the time). Kahit ngayon lang, let's not bash him and instead, just thank him for his effort.

    8. @132 sana bago ka mag-react ng ganyan ikaw ang magbasa muna ng news. galing mismo sa indonesian govt that the postponement came upon the request of our president. Bashers, stop hating all the time and learn to say thank you also.

    9. OA ang defense ni Kris! Palpak talaga ang kapatid niya! Too late the hero lagi!

    3. 2:16 just so you know, the indonesian president didnt mention your president to be the factor for his decision but he mentioned a lot of other reasons. Wag kang nag tataray dahil mukhang walang laman yang utak mo. He will of course take all the credit! St*p*da!

Ano ito, get out of jail card like sa Monopoly??? they shouldn't have committed the crime in the first place! Save your own sorry and st*p*d a**, because you won't survive outside the country with that kind of idi*tic thinking!

  9. Alam mo collective effort yan eh. Thank You Pnoy but to tell it is just Pnoy is an understatement. The one who gave her lawyers from the very start sa simula pa lang is not the government but the migrante. And at that time grabe sa Twitter world with over 300k tweets and online petition of 180k. The religious group in Indonesia met with the President Widodo to give the online appeal. It is a collective effort Ms.Kris. kya compliment your brother along side the Filipino people who resounded and bang the doors. It is a miracle too, of all the time the recruiter surrendered even if for other reasons such as threat to life. It is also a president's job, who else would call? Us na citizens? Kahit paepal Minsan Si DeLima she is smart, it was her who advised the president all along and knows the law like the back of her hand. Thank You Mr. President, Thank You Filipino people, Thank You religious group from Indo, Thank You for International support and Thank You for the miracle of God. Again, Me. Kris it is a COLLECTIVE EFFORT.

Just asking. People can't accept what Pnoys done. That's the truth Kung hindi tumawag si Pnoy mismo may mangyayari ba?

    2. Alam mo, magpasalamat pa rin kay Pnoy kasi honestly, he didn't need to do it. We have to follow the rules of the country. Ignorance is not an excuse! Hindi ko sinasabi na agree ako sa batas nila, but sabi nga, When in Rome.... Kaya magpasalamat siya at ang kanyang engot na ina at he at least spoke to Joko on her behalf!

They knew what they were getting into. Ano, they expect the government to save their a****s for committing the crime?

Im sure kahit ibang presidente yan pr of halimabawa maayos ang mrt and lrt or the saf43 was handled well, meron at merong masasabi mga tao. In the same way, why cant we just support PNoy sa remaining term nya? I was never a fan of this guy and hindi sya kasali sa top 3 ko dati but i must admit since namuno sya he has earned my respect. Let's give credit where it os due. May nagagawa naman siya kahit papaano

    11. 1:11 kahit pinadala pa c de lima 5 yrs ago, it wouldn't guarantee MJ's reprieve. You know why? Because different countries have their own legal system, and due process. Look at what happened to the 2 australians, they were jailed fir 10 yrs before finally executed.

    4. 1:52 AM let's not drag the fallen44 in this issue. Yes, their operation was not planned perfectly. Yes, our President became invisible and made wrong moves during the issue. But this is waaaay irrelevant. He did his best to stop the execution of MJ. And it showed great result. So, 1:40 and 1:52, being a Filipino citizen and by blood, you guys should know when to shut you effin mouth (fingers, since you just typed in your comment), and be happy for the result.

Grabe

  30. the reason cited for the delay in execution was the "surrender" of the recruiter. That was the official reason given which prompted the Indonesian president to stop veloso's execution. This was done in order for their gov't to review the case.
And mind you, hindi siya hinuli o nagsurren daw.

Mas malaki ang impact nya if he goes into this direction. sa Philippine politics kasi at the end madudumihan pangalan nya.

      Delete
    3. 2:01 so what if the recruiter surrendered? Do you think that alone could change Widodo's decision? So why then the execution was on until the last hour? As you said, the coffin for MJ arrived despite hearing the news of the recruiter's surrender. Well i guess the CNN news you've seen wasn't the latest. Pnoy made a last minute call to Jokowi to convince him the last time to keep MJ alive to serve as a witness. And yes, give credit where it's due, definitely not to migrante!

    1. do you think indonesia's president would listen to the migrant workers' protests? NO! Beacuse if that's the case, he could have granted reprieve as well to the other 8 convicts. pinoy nga naman!

  39. HIndi pa tapos ang kaso, Kris. It's not solely Pnoy's effort, mas nakakarami ang nagdasal at nanawagan kaya wag kang magsalita jan as if kapatid mo lang dapat may credit sa suspension ng execution ni Mary Jane!!!

    ReplyDelete

    3. 10:14, i googled the convicts prison time for you, just so next time you'd make an effort to know the facts and understand how things are before you comment:

Australians Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan - 10 yrs
Ghanian Martin Anderson - 11 yrs
Brazilian Rodrigo Gularte - 11 yrs
Nigerian Jamiu Owolabi Abashin - 17 yrs
Nigerian Sylvester Obiekwe Nwolise - 12 yrs
Nigerian Okwudili Oyatanze - 12 yrs
Indonesian Zainal Abidin bin Mahmud Badarudin - 15 yrs

Court battles take years. Just because you only get to know about it recently doesn't mean nothing has been done about it in the past.

  41. So let me get this straight. I must be living in the wrong dimension. So when do you expect Filipinos to account for their action? Never?

  50. She's right ! We really should be thankful that Mary Jane was the only one who was spared from getting executed . Here in Australia , our prime minister also tried to negotiate with the Indonesian president for clemency but nothing happened .. To all the haters , FACT is : if it wasn't for PNoy , Mary Jane would have been executed no doubt ! That Indo president has a very strong belief and isn't easily persuaded but PNoy managed to convince him to change his mind at the very last minute .. Simply shows PNoy did a great job . Instead of hating just be thankful and stop being judgemental id**ts.
