    2. @ 1:53 Eh well here in the US and even some parts in Europe, ang customer mismo ang pinapabalik sa counter to see what caused the security alarm to set off. Citizens understand na nangyayari to dahil nakakligtaan lang. Sa pagkakaiba lang yan ng reaction ng tao, and for most people this incident is no biggie, but kung na.touch yung ego mo, edi mag.ala Direk Joey ka talaga!

    3. @1.53 what d heck are u talking about? kaso for that infantile reason? u must be kidding!

  2. Because of this whiny fellow, an employee can potentially lose his/her job today for a mistake any human being can make.

    1. I dont think he's being whiny. How would you feel if your possessions were scrutinized in public, specially if you were not at fault? The least they could have done is to do the checking in private.

It's good that uniqlo apologized, but I think Direk Joey and anyone who experienced the samw thing, should be compensated.

    2. Power tripping ang open-minded kuno na director.. just so happen the guard is dong his job kasi nakalimutan ng cashier gawin yung sa kanya lol pero cge cliche man sabihin tao lang tau lahat si cashier shunga lang that day si guard nag tatrabalo lang at ikaw emotional dahil napahiya

    3. I'm pretty sure the employee already apologized when he was still at the mall but of course he just have to keep whining all over twitter to express his humiliation. Yes he is whiny because I'm sure he was already given an apology from the employee he just had to make it much worse for her/him. In short papansin sya hehe.

  3. uy may tama naman si direk joey...I experienced the same thing last year uniqlo SM Aura they forgot to detached the tag when I pass thru the guard nagalarm sya dami kayang tao na nakatingin sau , nakakahiya nman talaga pero i know for a fact na nagbayad ako kaya dedma, they check the receipt ok nman...so i went home only to find out na may hindi pa nga natanggal ang hassle lang kasi i have to get back again in the store para ipatanggal yung tag you cant untag it byyourself masisira ang damit

    1. yes it actually happens na the employee forgets to remove the tag, specially kung madaming items and there happens to be a long line in the counter. happened to me in the states, wala naman problema. show the reciept. its also the way the empoyee handled the situation if he/she insinuated na the person shoplifted.

Customers are always right.

  5. ERMERGERD Direk.. why did you have to go this far!? It was an honest, common mistake in a lot of retail stores that is absolutely NO BIG DEAL AT ALL. Checking receipts and shopping bags is part of the standard protocol everytime the alarm goes off! And now, apology and investigation!??! Grabe sobra talaga. All this fuss because you 'FELT' embarrassed kasi tumunog yung alarm, when it really just an honest mistake. Iniisip ko talaga yung employee because he/she could possible lose the job. Mag.shopping ka nga Direk either sa US or Europe and hopefully mangyari ulit to sayo and let's see kung uubra yang powertripping mo sa pagra.rant2 on social media kasi you 'FELT' embarrassed na chineck ka sa exitdoor. I feel like poking your eyeballs out sa kababawan mo.

    1. Imagine if Direk Joey was YOU, and you are pegged to be a shoplifter, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?

      Delete
    2. True.

    3. I noticed may mga typo errors ako in my comment above, tuloy some sentences turned out grammatically wrong. I was just so furious upon the update of an 'Apology' over this shallow incident.

At 2:26 To answer ur question, Dude pare chong... ilang beses na tong nangyari sa akin, in different countries. So kung tatanungin mo ako, HOW WOULD I FEEL? Kebs! Knowing na it's just one of those common slip up of the store and pag.intindi that people make mistakes. So, keber! That whole, 'pegged as a shoplifter', please.. alam nya na he didn't do anything wrong, and that someone just made a mistake, so his raged reaction on twitter na na.'embarrass' daw sya is purely egotistical. His egotistical nature led him to rant unreasonably on social media.

  6. As of this writing, tinanggal na po ng Uniqlo ang "stupid" na cashier. I would like to believe now that you, Direk, are now properly vindicated. And while the "stupid" girl who happens to be my cousin, ay kelangang maghanap ulet ng mapapasukan to feed her first-born, she, being a single-mom. Sana ay matanggap pa sya ulet. In her behalf, i would like to say sorry to you, Direk. As to my cousin, hope she would learn from this.

  8. This same incident happened to me in Mango SM megamall. The guard checked my personal belongings one by one it is very traumatic indeed lalo na kung maraming tao ang nakakakita. I should have reported the same incident din sana sa management ng Mango. Oh well, good thing we have fashion pulis.

Lol

  10. Even d2 sa europe normal yan. I don't know why naging napakalaking issue. Grabee! Nagkakamali ang tao! as long as may paper bag ka ng mag alarm it means bumli ka s knila at sila ang may kasalanan. So ano nakakahiya pag tumunog??

    ReplyDelete
  20. I noticed that a lot of those commenters who are currently outside the country or are fond of shopping outside the country, para sa kanila OA yung naging reaction ni Direk, and that the situation was totally blown out of proportion. So to those people siding with Direk Joey and think that this Public Apology is appropriate, ay hindi pa nakakapag.shopping sa ibang bansa! Aminiiiiiin some of you hanggang malls lang sa Manila. HAHAHA!!! Hashtag sorry not sorry.
