Neil Perez, the police officer who caught everyone's attention after joining Misters of the Philippines 2014, won the title of Mister International 2014 at the pageant in Ansan, South Korea, on Saturday, February 14.
Aski Pascual, media coordinator of Misters of the Philippines confirmed the good news that Neil won the pageant.
The representative from Lebanon, Rabdi El Zein was 1st runner up followed by Tomas Dumbrovsky from the Czech Republic who was 2nd runner-up.
The representative from Poland, Rafal Maslak was 3rd runner up while Slovenia's Mitja Nadizar was 4th runner up.
On February 12, the contest held its preliminaries, where the candidates showcased their national costumes, formal wear and swim wear.

Before his departure, Neil said he was dedicating his participation in the competition to the 44 SAF officers killed in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, on January 25. According to Neil, 7 of those killed were his batchmates in the police academy.
Known as Police Office 2 Mariano Perez Flormata Jr of the Philippine National Police, Neil won the title of Mister International Philippines in September 2014.
Neil, a bomb and explosives technician with the PNP Aviations Security Group, previously said that he joined the pageant to promote health and fitness. His participation in the pageant is supported by the Philippine National Police leadership.
