Our family will spend the Christmas in the Newly opened SM City Cauayan :-) its the 1st SM mall in the province of Isabela, and at last our 1st time to experience and watch the entries of the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. We will also buy clothes to our lovely niece Athena and eat in the foodcourt or any food shop inside :-)

SM mall for me is not just a shopping mall. It is a place to enjoy and ease boredom by playing arcades and watching movies in their superb cinemas. Since I'm still a student, I usually do those things rather than shopping. I do shopping sometimes, but with my family and the usual things I buy are school stuffs. SM has a huge part on my life as a kid and a student, so when I graduate and already has a decent job, their malls will definitely still on my top list to shop and enjoy.

As far as I can remember, spending Christmas shopping at SM is a tradition. My mother always tells me that when I was a kid, we always shop at the newest SM built. From SM Carriedo to SM Cubao to SM Centerpoint and then she lost track. Now, I have a daughter. I cant forget the smile on her face whenever you tell her, "we are going to SM!" It bonds our family together and will really comin back over and over again to feel the SM Christmas experience.

We live in the province since me and my brother were kids. There's no SM malls for us to shop back in the days and up until now. The closest one is in Pampanga but still we can't go there because we need to commute for long hours cause we don't have a car for travel. When me and my brother got jobs in Manila, that's the only time we could shop for ourselves and bring pasalubong home to our dear mother, who only once or twice to step in a SM mall. We're not financially stable but I hope one day, my plan is to bring my mother without thinking of cutting our family budgets and have some fun time and also we could go shopping as a Christmas gift for her as a payback for all the love and care she gave to us since we were young. It will be great treat if SM will provide the quality bonding time with my family and of course all thanks to you FP :)

My husband works in the city (Makati) while me and my daughter lives in the province that's why we rarely see him and have quality time together. We both planned and agreed that my daughter and I will visit him this coming holidays so we could spend more time with him. I am not sure how long we will gonna be with him because he will soon be working abroad. SM Supermalls is the perfect place to hang out and we will surely explore the whole place. Its the best place for our family to have fun and be together even for just a short time. My daughter will gonna love the events and adventures the SM Supermalls has to offer. I love the idea that SM is a 'pang-masa' mall! Living in the province, it's always been a big deal when news about SM being planned to be built somewhere near our town. People (yes, me included) would really travel just to go to the nearest SM mall kahit katabing province na. You wouldn't feel 'out of place' when roaming around SM, unlike sa ibang big malls. SM is definitely a mall to go to when you want to spend quality time with your family or friends!

SM Supermalls are so convenient because they are easily accessible and all our requirements are housed in one complex. It saves time and money. #MerrySMChristmas is so much fun and entertaining. My family and I love SM malls. It's like another home for us. Almost every week we get to spend family day at SM so we consider it a great place for bonding moments. This wonderful time of the year, I want to have a memorable Christmas so I am planning to go to SM Southmall with my family. On Christmas Day we will be watching the MMFF movies and I am sure that it's going to be fun. And of course, malling won't be complete without eating at our favorite restaurant in the mall, and that is the famous Yabu. It's really one of the best Japanese restaurants in the Philippines and we will never get bored eating there for the rest of our lives. I would like my 6 yr old daughter to experience the ice skating rink for the second time, she will surely love it. My hubby is a certified gamer, so a game console at Toy Kingdom is a great gift for him. I am still thinking of what to give to myself this Christmas, I guess, as long as I see my family happy and feel their genuine smile, that will make my Christmas complete.

ReplyDeleteSo much memories with SM malls. When I was a kid, travelling to SM is a must when we're getting new school supplies for the school year or when we're celebrating special occasions! And did I mention going to SM whenever balikbayans are home for the holidays? Those were happy times. Time flies and now it's my family's turn to come home for the holidays. If I want to have some Filipino cuisine with the family (which we truly miss), to catch up with friends (over coffee or movie dates) or to buy pasalubong for family back in Canada, I know where to go! SM will surely be a stopover for this homecoming trip. :)

ReplyDeleteSM, or SM Megamall to be exact has been a part of my life. Not only because it is conveniently located near our home, or the variety of restaurants, shops and other activities are the reasons why I choose to visit Megamall but simply because it is like my second home. A place where a lot of good moments to remember and keepsakes that I got at SM Megamall. That is why last Christmas holiday, I brought my kids there for a trip to Toy Kingdom and SM Department store to buy for their toys and Christmas outfit and meet up with the rest of my family for a hearty lunch at Chili's. Thanks for the memories you have given me through out the years SM Megamall.
