Flores later underwent “medical procedures,” GMA News' Oscar Oida reported.
The suspect had been in hiding since Picache' s mother, Zenaida Sison, 75, was found stabbed to death inside her house in Quezon City last Sept. 19.
The National Bureau of Investigation started an investigation into the killing last September 24.
Picache had met with NBI agents Tuesday, and she and other family members were shown the various pieces of evidence collected. These included closed-circuit television footage of primary suspect Flores.
Investigators had also recovered a pair of shorts and a shirt believed worn by Flores at the time of the murder.
"We are about to file the case at the soonest possible time," said the Picache family's lawyer, Ferdinand Calunsag.
Investigators, meanwhile, believed Flores had partners, based on statements from witnesses.
"May testigo nagsasabi ito nakaplano na," said NBI special investigator Joey Ajero.
Sison's killing was seen as part of a robbery as cash and jewelry were missing from the victim's home.
