It is a tactical move sa part ni Mary Christine to drag Angelica as a way to force Derek to make an amicable settlement especially now na hiwalay na si Derek & Angelica. Immaterial sa case whether hiwalay na or naka move on na si angelica from Derek, the fact that all the conditions for a concubinage case have been satisfied, there is a strong case against Derek and Angelica. Medyo malaki ang sum pero kung i divide mo sa 21 years at isipin mo na sa Dubai sila nakatira hindi unreasonable yung hinihingi nila. Also, yun 42M ball park figure lang yun, alam nilang Derek and his lawyers will likely to negotiate it down to a much lower sum.

ReplyDeleteIt is a tactical move sa part ni Mary Christine to drag Angelica as a way to force Derek to make an amicable settlement especially now na hiwalay na si Derek & Angelica. Konsensya na lang ni Derek na kaladkarin nya si Angelica sa gulo na ito kung hindi sya makipag-settle. Immaterial sa case whether hiwalay na or naka move on na si angelica from Derek, the fact that all the conditions for a concubinage case have been satisfied, there is a strong case against Derek and Angelica. Yes, you may classify the strategy as a form of blackmail but all good lawyers are going to use this tactic if ever it is available to them and in this case, pwede nilang gamitin ito to pressure Derek. It's too bad for Derek that Mary Christine hired a competent lawyer to make Derek's life miserable with some excellent court maneuvering.

On the other hand, if she denies any knowledge of the relationship considering the angelica-derek thing was highly publicized, it will show that she hasn't really been in touch with derek or any of their common friends for the past years. ReplyDeleteSome wives na iniwan ng asawa, hindi naman nagdedemanda like her. Nagtatrabaho sila to feed their children. Child lang meron siya, so why cause trauma to the kid? Why don't she work her *ss off?

why now? after so many years bakit ngayon lng? wala na ba syang pambuhay sa bata? if I were her, bubuhayin ko yung bata na ako lng di na ako aasa sa guy after everything he did. Kung si Derek ang masusunod di yan magbibigay ng sustento, 2nd hand computer ni Angelica at limos dito at doon lang tapos todo pakitang tao ang kuno generosity nya. Tse.
