My mom was born with cleft palate because of an injury while in the womb. She always tells us how lucky she is that she have undergone a reconstructive surgery when she was young although syempre may mga kupal na mapanglait pa rin and also how she felt sorry for children who are not so lucky as her na sobrang lait at kutya ang natatanggap sa paglaki nila.

The first advocacy that I salute about him is SCHOLARSHIP for the retired Soldier's children. I know, my dad was in the military and he gain my admiration for that. FYI MADAMI NG NATULUNGAN SI DD USING HIS OWN MONEY. Even before YES PINOY. Whether he goes to Politics or Not, Dingdong got what it takes.
Friend, whatever his intentions are , it's between him, his God and his conscience. The point is they have been very active in giving back to the community through their advocacies and have used their own funds without dipping into public funds. Some Hollywood stars go public with their advocacies as it generates awareness and helps in campaigning for funds, nobody accuses them of having ulterior motives. if JD 3 runs for office , so what? He is educated and has served the country. Crooks, uneducated people, plunderers or people of less stature and with questionable backgrounds have occupied those post , so why can an honest man not try to aspire to serve the public?

Last year "YanAngSmile" was launched to give fans a chance to meet her in person, a year later, "YanAngSmile" aims to give medical care to those who needs it most. I'm curious what "YanAngSmile" will become next year. I hope it's an annual thing. This is only one of Marian's countless charitable deeds.

hi I was born with cleft palate know what it felt like to have one. Already had 2 surgery since 2009 now I'm 18 and nung nasa pinas ako dinila masyado nadetect ung sakin buti nalang d2 sa America nadetect kaagad nila and very tahnkful naman na successfull ung surgery, now I'm very happy to hear that Marian Rivera is having an advocacy about this which a lot of people should know.
She's contributed a lot to Dingdong's Yes Pinoy Foundation (participating in fun runs, attending events where Dingdong is the main speaker, going on location to distribute goods or fixing broken facilities), but she doesn't get any credit for her efforts because it's what's expected of her. She's also had collaborative works with Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis many years back. She's done several drives for Red Cross since 2012. Marian has auctioned many of her clothes to raise money for different causes. The Adopt-A-Banka project was launched in 2013 and she provided a class of students with complete school materials which was not publicized. Marian has a strong background in charitable works even before rumors of Dingdong running for politics surfaced. Dingdong may run for public office, but not everything they do (or at least did) are initiated by that goal.
Whether it's her own resources that she'll use for this cause or not, it doesn't matter. What matters most is that she know how to use her fame to help others. There's only a handful of people in this world who can fund a drive like this out of their own money and we're talking about the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. Truth of the matter is, she has a kind heart.

The first advocacy that I salute about him is SCHOLARSHIP for the retired Soldier's children. I know, my dad was in the military and he gain my admiration for that. The point is they have been very active in giving back to the community through their advocacies and have used their own funds without dipping into public funds. Some Hollywood stars go public with their advocacies as it generates awareness and helps in campaigning for funds, nobody accuses them of having ulterior motives. if JD 3 runs for office , so what? He is educated and has served the country. Crooks, uneducated people, plunderers or people of less stature and with questionable backgrounds have occupied those post , so why can an honest man not try to aspire to serve the public?

ReplyDeleteThanks to this woman and her team for Helping Bantayan Cebu, I know a lot of people from bantayan na nakatanggap ng banka, Marian helped a lot, ang dami nyang clothes na binenta to help people. And she donated money from her own pocket para makatukong sa mga biktima ng bagyo ng yolanda.

She is doing her duty and it makes her happy. DD has been doing it for 5 years, his YP foundation has made a difference as his advocacies include rebuilding schools and providing academic support to the poorest of kids in cities and liblib villages. This has impacted on MR positively as she has accompanied and supported him in all of them . They use their celebrity right.If DD were to run, he would make a good public servant. I doubt he would especially if it gets in the way of what he wants - to have a family with MR.

Ang mahalaga, nakakatulong sila ngayon at may mga nakikinabang. Instead of bashing this person or this article, maybe we can do 1 simple good deed at ipagsabi 'to para don sa mga walang access sa ganitong info and project. Deletehi I was born with cleft palate know what it felt like to have one. Already had 2 surgery since 2009 now I'm 18 and nung nasa pinas ako dinila masyado nadetect ung sakin buti nalang d2 sa America nadetect kaagad nila and very tahnkful naman na successfull ung surgery, now I'm very happy to hear that Marian Rivera is having an advocacy about this which a lot of people should know.

ReplyDeleteShe's contributed a lot to Dingdong's Yes Pinoy Foundation (participating in fun runs, attending events where Dingdong is the main speaker, going on location to distribute goods or fixing broken facilities), but she doesn't get any credit for her efforts because it's what's expected of her. She's also had collaborative works with Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis many years back. She's done several drives for Red Cross since 2012. Marian has auctioned many of her clothes to raise money for different causes. The Adopt-A-Banka project was launched in 2013 and she provided a class of students with complete school materials which was not publicized. Marian has a strong background in charitable works even before rumors of Dingdong running for politics surfaced. Dingdong may run for public office, but not everything they do (or at least did) are initiated by that goal.

There's only a handful of people in this world who can fund a drive like this out of their own money and we're talking about the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.
