Chaos at NAIA Terminal 1

Immigration line extended all the way to the terminal fee area because most computers were down. There was also poor air conditioning system. Truly, one of the worst airports in the world.

    1. Sobrang bastos pa, mapa-terminal 1 o 2. Last year lang kung makapanigaw ung nangongolekta ng travel tax (t2), hindi ata nila alam na tax ng taong bayan ang nagpapasahod sa kanila. Kung ayaw nila ng trabaho nila, they would do pinoys a favor by just staying at home.

  3. gosh, the BIR has been so rabid in collecting taxes (ridiculously steep if i may add), the least the government can do is provide its citizens with the proper services we deserve. que horror de barbaridad! and they ask why no one wants to pay taxes and why everyone wants to leave the country.

  9. San napupunta binabayad naming travel tax senyo? Walang nakikitang resulta. Love the Philippines, hate the government and system.

I travelled around and when one is travelling...

  13. Ang pangit talaga ng NAIA 1. Ang hirap mag travel lalo na pag may dala kang baby in a stroller wala man lang elevators papunta ng gates tapos may terminal fee at standard baggage fee pa. Nakakahiya pa yung asal ng ibang NAIA staff. Sobrang kapal kung makahingi.

  14. ano masasabi mo dito Mrs Henares?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Avoiding NAIA 1 as much as possible due to mediocre facilities, non-existing security measures, and snooty staff. Good grief the chaotic huge crowds there!

  17. And yung di pinapayagan mag fly ang karamihan. May right lahat ng taong mag travel abroad kahit ordinaryong tao lang unless may travel ban sa pupuntahan or may hold departure order from the court. Kawawa ang mga di pinapasakay na gumastos na lahat for visa, ticket, and accommodation. Only in the Philippines.

I know those complaints would take time pero kung lahat ganun ang gagawin mapipilitan silang magbago at umaksyon. Remember million million tayong Filipinos.

    1. What we did:

      1. Paid the taxes, surcharges and fees asked by the government and NAIA
      2. Gave NAIA additional business by buying items at their shops while waiting for boarding
      3. Complied with all other things asked for to fly without hitches.

      What we expect:
      1. Clean and functional facilities
      2. Modern equipment that can help the airport staff process passengers' stuff the least time possible
      3. Security for all, CCTV in all necessary places
      4. Airport staff that knows the meaning of courtesy, efficiency, and honesty.

We rant because they did not do their part. They did not listen using the normal channels. Thus, the angry mob have to find some means to air their grievances.

And don't think that people do not know whom to vote. They know, yet were defeated by those who manipulated the results. Remember the little lady who "stole the presidency not just once but twice?"

  25. Last month we had a family reunion. My uncles came from Europe,I came from Dubai, other relatives from japan. Lahat kami terminal 1. And I was shocked! Worst airport. Grabe. 2 long hours. Imbis na matuwa kami? Suklam ang naramdaman namin. Grabe.

  29. Paki-renovate na yan, please.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Under renovation ang NAIA, so who knows baka after the renovation umayos na ang facilities and services. Changes don't happen overnight so let's give them a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Congrats hehehe! I hope cebu's 17.5Billion renovation project that would turn into a class world resort airport at mactan will save the NAIA airport as being the top worst airport WW in three consecutive years. Mactan cebu airport will start their groundwork this year.

  32. I have been there many times and it is surely a third world airport. THE WORST airport.

  39. wow, tapos kung maka off load sila nang mga tao wagas! tapos down system? dapat meron sila contingency plan sa mga servers nila, meron main server at back up server at lit! :))

  40. Ganito pala ang itsura pag peak season. Ugh.

  41. All this excuses why this happened is not acceptable. Iligwak ang mga taong responsable for this chaos..

    ReplyDelete
  42. As a ground crew for an airline, ako mismo ang nahihiya sa facilities na provided ng gobyerno natin kasi sobrang napagiiwanan tayo. Why don't they gradually transfer all flights sa T1 dun? Majority of T3 is just put to waste kasi di nagagamit. Kairita.
