  1. "...because people are continuously sending..." dapat. You know, adverb + verb. Di pwede ang two verbs. Gosh! Tinuro naman yan sa amin sa Harvard ah.

    8. anon 12:12 continuously IS an adverb. ano bang harvard yan? harvard jeans?

      Delete
    9. 1:39 Oo nga, adverb nga. Kaya nga "adverb + verb" eh. Unlike "verb + verb" sa "continue sending". Read kasi ng maigi bago mag-post.

    10. Ewan ko lang ha, di ako sure, pero ang "sending" sa statement ni Marlene ay gerund yata, hindi verb, so it's functioning as a noun.

      Delete
    11. Te, check muna ng resources bago magpost. Kasi baka mali mali ang tinuturo mo.

Tama ang sentence ng ate marlene mo. Ang "sending" ay ginamit as gerund or verbal noun to complement the verb continue. So hindi double noun yan.

Ang baklang to, may nalalaman pang harvard!! Baka haggard, teh!

    12. Trulagen! Anon 2,41 am. Akala mo anak ni Merriam Webster ang nag comment sa itaas. May Harvard pang nalalaman, e sa Mababang Paaralang ng San Mateo yan nag-graduate!

    13. Lol to you Anon 2:41. Makapangorection kasi parang sinong magaling. Ayan, na haggard ka tuloy.

    14. Mga education graduates at english teachers pala ang mga grammar nazi ek ek dito. Me nalalaman pa kayong verb, functiong as noun gerund. Brrr!

      Delete
    15. I was laughing at the comments. 2:33 and 2:41 are correct except that 2:41 probably meant "So hindi double verbs yan."

Anyway, 12:12, please stop being a grammar Nazi especially if you're only misleading people.

In this case, Marlene used "sending" as the object for continue, thus it functions as a noun. This verbal is called a gerund.

    19. as long as you are confident on delivering the language that you'd like to speak, and you convey the message clear, then it's ok. Pag hindi pa rin maintindihan, eh di ulitin. Ang unang perpekto ay siyang unang pumukol ng bato. Masarap ba sa pakiramdam pagkatapos manlait ng kapwa? Ipagpatuloy kung ganon....kung ganoon ang pananaw...:-(
