  6. wow, very good choice...it must be a privilege to be mentored by her...

    ReplyDelete

I wonder who the fourth and final coach would be? International singer perhaps? Hmnnn.

    1. Maybe the fourth judge would be someone who's both a producer and a singer? Who among our artists fit the bill?? Looking forward to knowing who it is..

    2. sana si sir ryan cayabyab. although matanda na siya mukha namang he has good ears for music

  9. At last! My wish for a taste of world-class talent for The Voice PH has finally come true! Thank goodness judge si Lea. I wonder who the 4th judge is. Bamboo is ok (I really would have wanted to have Ely on the show though).

I'm quite concerned about Sarah ha, in fairness. Sana naman wag syang ma-overshadow ni Lea. That would look bad. We're talking about Lea here, people! World-class talent, frankness, and wit to boot! And please, spare me the fantards. Lea and Sarah are incomparable! Mag-a la Mariah Carey vs Nicki Minaj ba to? :)

      Delete
    2. Bamboo and Lea are intelligent artists. I'm expecting them to have very good inputs to the contestants. We'll have to wait and see if Sarah can step up to their level. Tigil tigilan muna ang pacute-cute.

      Delete

      o·ver·shad·ow
      /ˌōvərˈSHadō/
      Verb
Tower above and cast a shadow over.
Cast a gloom over: "tragedy overshadows his story".

SO deducing from your reasoning, what you meant is sana hindi masapawan ni Sarah si Leah kasi si Leah ay mas magaling ng di hamak kaysa kay Sarah.

      Yun lang po.

      Bow!
      :)

      Delete
    4. 12:58am, duh, I used "overshadow" as a verb correctly. First time mo lang ba ma-encounter ang word na yun when used in a sentence, te? You gotta admit, Lea (no "H" te!) is just on a whole different level than where Sarah is. Lea is the epitome of a real artist. Sarah is still pa-tweetums pa with the audience. In fact, I think Sarah has yet to find her niche in the industry. Pop ba or RnB or Alternative....or acting...or worse...hosting?

Sarah has to sharpen up lest she wants Lea to show her a thing or two. Walang room for compromise for Lea. I'm really hoping di to masira unlike the most recent reality singing contest/show ng Dos.

      Delete

      -Tiyang Amy

      Delete
    6. anon 12:58 is correct..admit it 12:33 mali paggamit mo ng verb mo...or so you call it hahaha!

    7. February 20, 2013 at 12:33 AM

you nailed it girl! talagang kailangang humabol ni sarah sa pagiging intelligent. iwanan na nya ang pagpapacute. di bagay sa level ng ibang coaches.

      Delete

Let's just wait and see.

      Delete
    9. It's a make or break for Sarah. I'm very positive though that she'll be able to pull it off.

      Delete

      Delete
  10. Astig! Now we're talking quality programming. Looking forward to it!.:)

    ReplyDelete
  11. OMG!!! Cant wait for The Voice. No less than The Lea Salonga as a coach. San ka pa?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Really really good news! Bongga naman ng ABS-CBN! We have Sarah for Pop/RnB. Bamboo for Rock/Alternative. And Lea for Classical/Broadway. ABS-CBN, please naman, sana wala nang clowns like K for The Voice PH. Make your shows really "world-class" in both words and action.

    1. Judge ba si sarah g? Kala ko host. Anyway, they're off to a good start. Love their line up for judges! :)

    2. Si Timegiver ang host.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I can already see the headline, "Sarah, may issue raw with Lea dahil nasasapawan sya nito as mentor/judge sa The Voice PH?" :)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Manghuhula ang peg mo.

      Delete

Lea and Sarah are both classy!

      Delete
    4. Lea has no issue with Sarah G. actually she's fond of her. Same with Sarah towards Lea, wala syang issue dyan. Unless mga katulad mo gagawa ng issue. I think they know who they are and who the other person is. They are aware of each other's talent. So the respect is there.

  17. go lea! i remember watching her mall show last december..everyone was like "bravo"! sana lang wag na niya i text si R! haha

    ReplyDelete
I am excited for Sarah G on how she will banter with Lea and Bamboo knowing Sarah na may pagka mahiyain. Hope she will not be intimidated by Lea's presence. I am looking forward for a fierce Sarah G!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. i agree. interesting personalities. hopefully, they will gel well. let's see.

      Delete
    2. Definitely, Sarah will step up.. Muka syang mahiyain pero I see her as a smart girl.

      Delete
  19. OMG! I just read that Jade M is the fourth judge!
So that covers the ballad genre then!
Good job, ABS-CBN! Natuto na talaga kayo from the XFactorPH!

    2. Baka si Ryan Cayabyab! Whoa!

  20. Yaaay! move on na si Tita P.. Tsarlots!!!

    ReplyDelete

  23. Good choice ABS! Lea Salonga is Lea Salonga...no question when it comes to her credibility as a judge in The Voice. Kudos!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sana mga tipong bituin escalante, lani misalucha or kuh ledesma yung 4th judge. Im worried kay Sarah, ano kaya ang sasabihin nya e pag hosting nga parang lumilipad utak nya e scripted pa yun, yung magmentor pa kaya?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Kaya nya yun!

      Delete
  27. Thumbs up sa mga judges. Ako mismo maguguluhan kung sino pipiliin ko.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  29. The Voice certainly needs someone who got the talent and the capacity to coach. Although, there is a tendency for her to be difficult as a coach coz she is known to be a perfectionist. Well if that's what it takes to succeed in this competition, why not? :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Paging American Idol. Ganito yung may K na judge/mentor. Jusme!
Anyway, Anne Hathaway do you know that Lea Salonga is a mentor on The Voice of the Philippines? Here, read her text message.
    HAHAHAHAHA

Anne Hathaway: But we already talked about Lea :)

      Delete
    2. In fairness to Nicki, maayos at very straightforward ang mga sinasabi nya sa mga comment nya.

      Delete
    3. At least Nicki is quite frank and honest ha! May guts talaga sya to tell the contestants that they didn't do good in their performance.

As for Lea, why don't you tell her that? I think she'd rather hear from you. Besides, we already talked about her. You can read her text message yourself. :: Anne :)

      Delete
    4. Nicki is one of the best judges I saw on AI... mas pa-cute pa nga si mariah eh... :Q

      KE3ITH

      Delete
    5. Love Nicki on AI. She has a good eye for talent and star quality.

      Delete
  31. Wow! wow! wow! I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete

      Delete
    2. What's so mayabang about that?

      Delete
    3. So what you're saying is... mayabang si Lea?

      Delete
    4. LOL. ang laki ng problema mo anon 827. Naapektuhan ka ba masyado? Personalan ba??

Lea has already conquered broadway, while ang isa dyan is settling for mediocre pa tweetums and incoherent hosting.

      Delete
    6. Teh!

      Delete
  33. Malamang ang 4th judge is none other than Madam Auring, huhulaan Nya Kung sino ang mananalo?

    ReplyDelete
  34. with Lea around in The Voice of the Philippines, I'm sure we'll have less of biriteras and voice calisthenics. nakakasawa na at dalawa singko na sila! let's have La Lea's standard! please?! I wish, I wish, I wish!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Excellent choice! Woot!woot!

    ReplyDelete
  37. buti naman siya ang pinili para maging world class ang the voice. favorite ko pa naman ang song contest na to. they better not fail me.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
  38. Suuuuppppeeerrrr liiiikkkkkeeeee!!! Wiiii!!! Go team Lea!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Wow!! Team Lea, Sarah and Bamboo!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think Ogie Alcasid would be a good coach/mentor. Kasi si Bamboo rock/alternative forte niya while Sarah is Pop & Leah is for Classical, Ogie is for Ballad.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ogie? No way! Pang-local lang sya!

      Delete
  41. Like q.but she sang the KP theme song ryt?so parang awkward.supposedly magkalaban na shows to so san ba talaga?

    ReplyDelete
  42. exciting! most of the times, yung mga contestants ang pumipili ng mentor/judge nila, kaya dun magkaka alaman kung sino ang favorite na judge at least favorite..mejo nakakahiya for the celebrity judge kung siya ang pinakahuli na mapupuno ang slots ng imementor. hope its not SG
