I don't like Sarah, but she has earned her place as coach with her successful concerts in and out of the country and her chart topping records. Objectively speaking, she is a good choice.

Hello? Gusto mo yung mabait pero hindi mabi-bring out ang best mo? Lea is only strict because she knows what "singing" really is. She's been trained and tested with the best of the best of Broadway, unlike ng iba dyan na puro parinig at pa-tweetums sa TV!
This is so grand! I am for Team Sarah, but I respect and idolize all other coaches as well. I hope the stage will be as world class as the coaches. Gumastos na rin lang, aba, sagarin na para bongga na talaga.

Buti na lang andyan si Lea! Lea is the most redeeming factor of the show! She's a real star! Apl is ok as well. You can trust that they have the class and professionalism na hindi makikita sa Pinoy talents. Hindi yan crab mentality te! It's just knowing what quality is and not settling for mediocrity!
Bamboo - Ok na rin, he's got the voice and personality to boot. I think he'll be a good mentor naman. ApldeAp - He knows how to spot what real talent is, having seen what the "Hollywood standard" is, besides BEP was not just popular in the US, but they also sold records worldwide Lea - Bow down! She is THE Lea Salonga. Classy, articulate, every inch of a real performer. Sarah - Hmmm....sana wag na sya puro parinig/pa tweetums. Move on na teh! Katapat mo ang legit international stars (with the exception of Bamboo) so straighten up because you've got your work cut out for you. In fairness, you can sing naman and perform, pero this time, be a professional. I-separate na muna ang mga ka-negahan mo sa love/money issues mo and make this show really world-class in the truest sense of the word.

Big Time mentors! Ok lang man din si TG as host, ang mga haters nya kung makacomment kayang magsalita sa harap ng madla. Mey hosting skills kayo? kung makapanira kayo wagas! Yung haters ni S, kung makacomment feeling mentor? may alam sa music? performance? Kayo na ang magaling! wait! nag galing galingan pala!

At the end of the day, Sarah (or any other artista) is still a celebrity. Meaning, she's bound to be praised and criticized. She's a public figure and is fair game to anybody. If she doesn't want to be criticized, then she should go back to being a private citizen.
For me, I hope she does well because she has all right ingredients to become a mentor. We'll just see how she puts together her talent and knowledge to mentor a contestant well.
I have seen Sarah as a judge dun sa dance showdown sa ASAP and from what I have seen, magaling siya at direct to the point lalo na sa weaknesses ng mga contestants. And besides, her voice training started when she was 3 or 4 years old and look how far she has become, me mga bagay siyang na achieve na kahit si Lea or Regine or kahit na sinong filipino artist ay di pa na aachieve example dun ang first Filipino artist to receive platinum recognition for a DVD of her concert not once but twice, idagdag pa jan ang pagkapanalo niya sa MAMA at nomination sa Nick's Favorite Asian Act which solidifies the fact that she has indeed world class talent. Ikaw ba naman ay kayang gayahin si Beyonce, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Cristina Aguillera, Adelle, Jennifer Lopez etc, aba world class ka talaga teh.
Sarah G is a LOCALLY produced artist, and gets nominations from the international award-giving bodies like MAMA and KCA. Don't you think it's just fair to give her enough credit? I mean, dang, she has no connections outside the OPM industry while Lea and APL are both babies of the international producers. Just imagine if Sarah starts to find her connection outside. Just Imagine it. All I want to say is let's be fair with our judgement.
Sarah deserves credit totoo yan. I think she's very talented as a total performer in pop music yun nga lang hindi siya original. Andun pa rin siya sa panggagaya kina Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, etc. Yan ang dahilan kung bakit di siya makaentrada sa international scene. Wala siyang original songs maliban sa mga karaoke hits niya na pang-Pinoy lang talaga.
The voice has ended and Sarah G has proven all of the ill commenters here wrong. She was indeed a good choice to be one of the voice judges. She had an amazing and talented team, and she judged through artist's voice and not by the song itself which showed the uniqueness of The Voice competition!
Exciting. I watch the Voice here in Oz. Looks like they're trying to make the Pinoy version as world class as they can.

Sarah - Hmmm....sana wag na sya puro parinig/pa tweetums. Move on na teh! Katapat mo ang legit international stars (with the exception of Bamboo) so straighten up because you've got your work cut out for you. In fairness, you can sing naman and perform, pero this time, be a professional. I-separate na muna ang mga ka-negahan mo sa love/money issues mo and make this show really world-class in the truest sense of the word.
OA mo naman makacomment kay sarah, talagang singled out mo sya sa nega comment mo, the rest puro papuri ka...please maybe you should set aside your hatred and just watch first...hirap sa mga taong tulad mo may pre judgement agad, buka agad bibig, di pa nga nag uumpisa nega ka na..manahimik ka nalang muna.

Deleteoo na international artist na si Lea..tanggalin nalang kaya yung 3 other judges tapos si Lea nalang lahat...tignan natin kung kaya nyong i-angat ratings ng show...admit it without the other 3 babagsak ratings nyan regardless kung international artist pa si Lea..not to take anything away from her pero let's face it,kung sya lang judge dyan bagsak ratings nyan. OA kayo masyado sa pagsasabi na international artist ek ek..Oo na nga..pero kung fans talaga kayo ni Lea dapat sinosuportahan nyo concerts nya dito at abroad..oh puro dakdak lang kayo sa kaek ekan na international artist at wala ng tatapat sa kanya...suskopo.

DeleteAt the end of the day, Sarah (or any other artista) is still a celebrity. Meaning, she's bound to be praised and criticized. She's a public figure and is fair game to anybody. If she doesn't want to be criticized, then she should go back to being a private citizen.
DeleteFor me, I hope she does well because she has all right ingredients to become a mentor. We'll just see how she puts together her talent and knowledge to mentor a contestant well.
I have seen Sarah as a judge dun sa dance showdown sa ASAP and from what I have seen, magaling siya at direct to the point lalo na sa weaknesses ng mga contestants. And besides, her voice training started when she was 3 or 4 years old and look how far she has become, me mga bagay siyang na achieve na kahit si Lea or Regine or kahit na sinong filipino artist ay di pa na aachieve example dun ang first Filipino artist to receive platinum recognition for a DVD of her concert not once but twice, idagdag pa jan ang pagkapanalo niya sa MAMA at nomination sa Nick's Favorite Asian Act which solidifies the fact that she has indeed world class talent. Ikaw ba naman ay kayang gayahin si Beyonce, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Cristina Aguillera, Adelle, Jennifer Lopez etc, aba world class ka talaga teh.
ReplyDeleteSarah G is a LOCALLY produced artist, and gets nominations from the international award-giving bodies like MAMA and KCA. Don't you think it's just fair to give her enough credit? I mean, dang, she has no connections outside the OPM industry while Lea and APL are both babies of the international producers. Just imagine if Sarah starts to find her connection outside. Just Imagine it. All I want to say is let's be fair with our judgement.
ReplyDeleteSarah deserves credit totoo yan. I think she's very talented as a total performer in pop music yun nga lang hindi siya original. Andun pa rin siya sa panggagaya kina Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, etc. Yan ang dahilan kung bakit di siya makaentrada sa international scene. Wala siyang original songs maliban sa mga karaoke hits niya na pang-Pinoy lang talaga.
DeleteThe voice has ended and Sarah G has proven all of the ill commenters here wrong. She was indeed a good choice to be one of the voice judges. She had an amazing and talented team, and she judged through artist's voice and not by the song itself which showed the uniqueness of The Voice competition!
