I like it, it's something unusual and very glam. I like the cut, the drape, but maybe she should have ditched that little cover and just went all out plunging. Since she decided to wear something radical, might as well have pushed the envelope.
Ano kinapangit nito? Dahil manok ang ginamit? Bakit, pag may gumamit naman ng peacock feathers wala naman nagrereklamo ah, eh kung tutuusin mas nakakapanghinayang kalbuhin ang peacock. Ano ba meron sa Pinoy at sa manok eh sa lahat naman ng sulok ng mundo meron nun. Besides, if you're so worried PETA's gonna have a hernia with this, then they might as well launch a global protest against its consumption.
I like it. It's actually gorgeous and when I saw her look vis-a-vis the looks of other stars, for me, she was the belle of the ball. The other female stars like Kim Chiu, Shaina, Maja and Erich all wore beaded gowns. And those beaded gowns were booooring. This gown of Bea is adventurous yet not over the top. Just my 2cents. :)

Malaking DISLIKE!! Ganda sana ni bea kaso nagmukha syang hanger sya ng damit. Ang laki ng gown tignan sa kanya. Di din kagandahan ang gown. Tas sana all the way cleavage na sya, may churva pa sa dibdib. Still not nice at all.
although I didn't really like the gown because it looks like feathers from crows which I'm not really fond of (eeew talaga ang mga crows), I think Bea carried the look well. it even highlighted her beautiful fair skin.

Bea is beautiful as usual. I like the idea, "feathery/black swan" peg. However, something is wrong with the execution...im not an expert, but parang may mali. Overall, kahit ganon ung dress, she pulled it off. Very confident sya...so no matter how "costume-y" her gown is, ganda pa din. :)And in my opinion, im glad she didnt show off her boobs like last year. I know its her asset...but look a thernow, sa face ka nya talaga titingin and because of the black gown, nagstand out ang ganda nya.

I think yung cape ni Queen Ravenna ng Snow White and the Huntsman ang inspiration para sa gown na to. Ganung-ganun din kasi yung pattern ng pagkaka-tahi ng feathers. Yung lang, ginawang gown yung kay Bea. Filipio designers, nowadays, seem to lack proper inspiration for their designs. Panay gaya sa foreign dseigners. Sayang tuloy ang ganda ni Bea. Buti na lang she was confident that night although mukhang costume ang suot nya.

DISLIKE! Pero mas dislike ko ang over na pagpo-project niya sa lahat ng pictures. Pati last year, over project din siya with matching hands on the waste, legs crossed and upturned nose. WAlang candid kahit isa. Kalerks.

like the black swan concept but i dislike how it turned out. please don't think that only fashionistas can appreciate that kind of gown. let's be honest. had it not been a rajo gown nor worn by a bea alonzo, this gown would have mocked even by fashion critics. the concept is nice but its translation into how the gown turned out to be was too literal and borders on being tasteless. the black swan concept can be interpreted in a gown without this being feathery.
she was the proclaimed most stunning star that night.. havey na havey! as for me, parang "the crow" ang dating, mysterious and very elegant.. she looked prettier. siya na talaga ang drop dead stunner.. kanya ang gabi. clap! clap!clap! FP ang award for Bea pls.. =)
I am so proud of my little sister! She carried the gown really well, with alot of class & attitude. Some of you may not like it, but only a true fashionista would appreciate this kind of creation. Alexander McQueen has never done something as risque as this.

ReplyDeleteMas LIKE ko ung suot ni Georgina sa creamsilk commercial. Was it also made by Rajo or copy nya lang? Check it out FP. Very similar gown though ung kay Georgina was pink.

I think yung cape ni Queen Ravenna ng Snow White and the Huntsman ang inspiration para sa gown na to. Ganung-ganun din kasi yung pattern ng pagkaka-tahi ng feathers. Yung lang, ginawang gown yung kay Bea. Filipio designers, nowadays, seem to lack proper inspiration for their designs. Panay gaya sa foreign dseigners. Sayang tuloy ang ganda ni Bea. Buti na lang she was confident that night although mukhang costume ang suot nya.

Deletelike the black swan concept but i dislike how it turned out. please don't think that only fashionistas can appreciate that kind of gown. let's be honest. had it not been a rajo gown nor worn by a bea alonzo, this gown would have mocked even by fashion critics. the concept is nice but its translation into how the gown turned out to be was too literal and borders on being tasteless. the black swan concept can be interpreted in a gown without this being feathery.

ReplyDeleteI am so proud of my little sister! She carried the gown really well, with alot of class & attitude. Some of you may not like it, but only a true fashionista would appreciate this kind of creation. Alexander McQueen has never done something as risque as this.
