Vapid Reaction to His Emotional Showing of Regret

Sometime ago, Veteran Showbiz Personality (SP) was puzzled as one of his favorite talents (FT) seemed to be avoiding him. Whenever SP tried to contact FT, he did not pick up nor did he return calls. The disappointment of SP was immeasurable as he was the one who discovered FT. When no one believed in FT, SP used his contacts and resources to assure him of a career. When FT found himself with no elder to look up to, SP assumed the role of a parent and SP treated FT like family.

Throughout the years, SP arranged for FT to have viable exposure in several projects of the station. Although FT has talent, he lacked the appeal that could sustain interest of fans. Hence, SP would remind the network management of his talent even if it means bugging the executives every so often for FT to have a project one after the other. The executives understood where SP was coming from, and thus, they did their best to give FT projects despite having more talented and better-looking personalities in their roster.

Soon, FT was paired with a Network Performer (NP) and their loveteam clicked until the time when they admitted they had broken off their relationship for real. This development made SP think of a better option for FT, as he spent years building up the loveteam. In the latest project of FT, he was paired with Multi-talented Celebrity (MC) and again, SP had to use his remaining available resources to promote FT and MC.

SP did his best to make sure FT had a career and yet towards the end, FT ignored him. When the end came for SP, FT was nowhere to be found. Worse, people were shocked at the uncalled for information he released in social media. At that time, the news was not true and FT had to recant his post. When he arrived at the designated place, a Close Relative (CR) fumed at him. CR is very close to SP and would have probably known the depth of care SP gave to FT. Thus, CR gave FT a mouthful even if the latter was crying incessantly.

When the smoke cleared and things had settled, CR asked FT to vacate the flat he was occupying. Instead of creating a scene, this move seemed to be fine with FT. Allegedly, FT has a new benefactor, who might not be as resourceful as SP, but who is, nonetheless, as controversial in his self-identification and political interests, which have taken precedence over his versatile acting career. .
