Television hosts put in their best positive side while they are on camera, and the most competent can never be caught unawares. Thus, how they really are behind the camera is a puzzle to the watching public. For example, Irritating Host (IH) projects a sweet and caring persona. Her looks gives that refreshing and credible image, which makes her an in ideal host for most events. However, IH has a dark side that only people working behind the scenes can be privy to. The crew has first-hand experiences how IH does not mince words when she is not happy with the people involved in the show like the makeup artist and hair stylist. She doesn't hesitate to scream at anyone regardless of age and status. She even corrects them needlessly. IH imposes herself on people as if she were the network's top honcho.

Given her negative character, no personal assistant had lasted long enough with IH. People could not figure out her mood swings. She can be irritable, angry, and commanding, which make working with her really difficult. While some may attribute this attitude to her present condition, but apparently, she has always been behaving like that even before.

During her past long-term relationship, IH and her man (HM) were very serious such that they allegedly even bought a house for the both of them. The same house is where IH now lives with her husband, who is not HM. HM probably just decided to give the house fully to IH after their break up.

Some people claim that IH, other than being a good host, is also quite a smart girl. She made it a point to maintain friendship with HM even after their split, because IH knows that being friends with HM assures her of work as well.

Now that IH is on leave and there is no news of any future shows when she comes back, the people she did not treat well are heaving big sighs of relief. For they no longer have to deal with someone who feels and behaves like a queen from nowhere while treating them shabbily as her paid royal help.

Gone are the days when television news personalities were just simple and hardworking men and women who were quietly and competently doing their jobs. Hardly did they command attention to themselves. If they were ever talked about, it was often work-related and nothing more.

But now, as we watch them at work on television, there’s no denying that today’s generation of news/media people are a big improvement of what it used to be decades ago. Well, I am referring to their over-all physical appearance or “looks.”

Today's men and women reporters take their physical appearance seriously, the way some showbiz stars do, or perhaps even more. After all, in terms of physical attributes and appeal, some of these underrated reporters can give showbiz wannabe's a run for their money. And why not, they too, have nice bodies and pretty faces. And lest anyone forgets, most of them have big following, or fans for that matter. It is no surprise therefore, when you hear them being talked about too, just like their more popular showbiz counterparts.

One of these is a boyish-looking male reporter (BR) who has quite a huge following from girls and gays alike. BR is not just a typical pretty face but is a smart one, too. He used to be in a long-term relationship with a celebrity and were already talking of marriage. Then everything just fizzled out, next thing was, they've called it quits.

But how true are rumors that BR is often seen with a hot male reporter (HR) from another network? Witnesses said they couldn't believe their eyes when they sighted BR and HR inside a cinema in a mall near their respective stations. Both were seated so close together and appeared too sweet for comfort. Their demeanor inside the cinema belied that they were “just friends” having fun after a hard day’s work. In this day and age, is anyone still safe from getting bitten by the gay bug?

BR and HR - are two hot men. Not two cute gays...hopefully.

Model turned actor (MA) began getting big breaks ever since he was paired opposite a popular young actress (YA) in a teleserye. MA's pretty face complimented YA's cute and innocent look. The strength of their screen chemistry helped propel the soap's popularity, thereby creating collective fans for YA and MA that grew fast in numbers. There was no denying that MA benefited a lot in his team up with popular YA. Thus, it didn't take long before MA began having a solid fan base and soon after, he was getting projects left and right. MA capitalized on his fame every chance he got, especially on tv guestings, where he would also showcase his other talents like singing and playing musical instruments.

 
MA probably couldn't contain the excitement of his new-found stature, such that he even made it known to the public his crush and affection towards YA. On the other hand, some observers and some of YA's fans were getting turned off with MA's posturings towards YA. They accused MA of overdoing things and resorting to gimmickry to his advantage and at the expense of YA, who the fans felt he was merely using. But of course, MA can only repeatedly deny all these. That's why, perhaps feeling tired of all the accusations hurled at him, MA tries his best lately to avoid being talked about and linked to YA anymore.

One day, at a taping for a show where he was one of the guests to promote his latest movie co-starring him with other actors, MA's handler briefed the show's writer that MA should not be asked questions about YA. The writer thus relayed the message to the show's host SH, to which SH asked why. When told that it's because MA doesn't want to be accused yet again that he's using YA and that he only became popular because of her. SH was pissed and retorted, "Well, that's the truth, he can not deny that. Excuse me, can he please get real?"

As a result, all throughout the show, SH's interview with MA were all about YA and another actress (AA) whom he was previously linked to. And MA's reaction? Well, he had no choice but to just grin and bear it.

Sometime ago, character actor (CA) was spotted having dinner with some non-showbiz people somewhere east of Manila. However, his congenial wife (CW) was not part of the group. Onlookers wondered why CW was not in the vicinity considering that all their showbiz lives, they were always together except when CA had to go abroad to broaden his other career. CA and CW began their relationship at a very young age. They were never linked to anyone else, and eventually got married a few years ago. Theirs was a picture of a happy family, and the envy of many. The personality of CW is the total opposite of the characters she portrays in her soaps.

To the surprise of onlookers, CA was chummy with one of the women with him. Then, someone overheard a conversation between that young woman and another in the ladies’ room. The conversation implied that the woman and CA were together. They met in their village and grew fond of each other. After a few minutes, the entourage of CA left the restaurant. However, CA and the young woman were noticeably walking far from each other so as not to arouse any suspicion from onlookers.

How can CA engage in “an affair” while CW is working very hard in her multiple shows in several networks? Will CA wake up soon and realize that this affair can ruin his family? If CW catches CA, will she channel one of her mean personalities in their confrontation?

Not so visible performer (NV) got a surprising request from an elderly person during a successful movie screening held a few days ago. 

Movie personalities and ordinary people graced the occasion. The venue was full, and the people behind the movie were happy with the crowd turnout. At one point, NV had to leave her chair to go to the ladies’ room. When she got back, an elderly woman approached her and asked if she can have a picture. Although NV is not that visible nowadays, she did command a huge number of followers at the height of her career.

Ever gracious as she is to her fans, NV smiled and agreed to the request of the elderly woman. As NV prepared to pose, the elderly woman handed her a camera. Then the elderly woman posed with another actress. So as not to be embarrassed, NV took the picture but her face gave a puzzled look. Perhaps, NV thought the incident was for a gag show, but this time, no one came to tell her it was a joke.

Host Has Separate Off-Cam Persona

Controversial TV host's CTH demeanor on and off camera has always been described as a point to point disparity between North and South. From any observer's eyes, there's always that big difference too obvious to ignore.

On camera, CTH is seen as the epitome of a knight in shining armor before his adoring fans, many of whom come from far away places just to watch his show. He is and has always been accommodating to them whenever they would visit in the studio. They are allowed physical access to him anytime, only and especially when the lights are on and cameras start to grind.

But off camera, no one is surprised anymore, especially his staff when CTH turns into a totally different persona.

When the public can see him, he scolds the security/bouncer if they prevent fans from coming near him. In reality, even among his staff, no one is allowed even within the vicinity leading to his dressing room, unless there's prior permission.

One time, a staff was hurrying up for something and had to run and mistakenly passed by the corrridor leading to CTH's private area. CTH got irritated and mad at the "intruder." As expected, the person was immediately called and reprimanded. But not after the barrage of expletives thrown at her. The newly hired girl, too shocked to even realize what hit her, was stunned and cried as a last resort.

For CTH's Staff: Remember the quote, " There are no tyrants where there are no slaves." Should third degree brutality at work be always part of the package that you have to endure on a daily basis? At what price is dignity?

It is well-known fact that Solenn kept on complaining that she is no longer utilized as an endorser after being replaced by Leighton Meester. A Voice In Need

The lure of show business can be deceiving. One moment, the projects can be overwhelming and the next, there might be none. This young discovery (YD) is now in a quandary as to what is happening to his career. YD is a product of a network’s search for talents to beef up its pool years ago. YD was one of those performers lucky enough to be given the break before the trend of reality shows. In other words, he did not have to enter any house to have his luck and popularity tested. He had talent and a pleasant attitude, and the bosses saw his potential.

YD got his break by acting with the popular young love team of the network. His boyish looks that compliments his cute smile landed him  some tv commercial projects, out-of-town appearances, indie and mainstream movies, stage plays, etc. In fact, he even won in a dancing contest. However, the network did not build him up to be the lead actor. Instead, he was cast in supporting roles. However, that was enough because YD was able to provide a comfortable life for his family. It became too cozy that he bought a house and financed the education of his younger siblings. A family member even gave up his professional career to be the driver of YD.

Things were looking great until YD realized that his last soap already ended half a year ago and his group was no longer called to appear in a weekly show of the network. His lack of projects was jeopardizing the comfortable life of his family that they got used to. YD had to humble himself and "took the bitter pill." He went to the pad of a network executive (NE) and asked if he could be given a project. YD even said he was willing to do anything asked of him. Other pals of NE who were present at that time were surprised at YD's last statement. For it sounded really desperate. NE replied that he would call YD as he was still finalizing the line up of the next soap.

This story is ordinary for people in showbusiness. Unless one is extraordinarily talented or very well-connected connected, no one is indispensable. On the part of the network, its energies seem to be bent on developing the careers of their discoveries from their reality shows more than their homegrown talent search a few years ago. If YD can build a reliable fan base and sustain their interest, then there is no reason why he should not have as many projects. But for now, he might have to rethink his options  to make sure he is not overlooked.

The latest is that YD is now part of two soaps, and was even featured in a magazine. On top of these, YD also decided to resume his education. Has YD finally learned his lesson? Did the visit to NE do the trick? People think that being responsible and diligent that he is, YD shouldn't be lacking in projects.

Again, Just Look But No Cameras, Please

While both are single, this couple has been spotted together several times. For each time they were asked, they both denied something more than friendship was happening. Male Actor (MA) has always projected a very wholesome image, and his network and publicists have managed to fend off any negative story about his alcohol problems. Meanwhile, Female Actress (FA) was the child star who grew up in front of the camera. Despite being in her mid-20s and having done a few daring roles, she still cannot shrug off her baby-face image.

MA and FA were just spotted at the arrival area of the airport with two gay assistants. MA and FA just came back from Hong Kong via Philippine Airlines flight PR 311. While boarding, MA and FA behaved like a sweet couple. However, their behavior changed at the arrival area. While some onlookers knew who they were, MA and FA were seen trying very hard to avoid each other. It seems that they did not want any unauthorized picture showing both of them together.

This behavior seems to be odd. Since both MA and FA are single and neither is tied to a permanent love team, why should they mind being seen together? At this point in their careers, the fans would be happy to learn of a confirmation that they are indeed more than friends.

Upcoming actor (UA) was shocked when a family member (FM) of his screen partner (SP) approached him and led him to the corner of the dressing room. UA thought that FM would reprimand him for a wrongdoing. FM has already gained notoriety among the production people of SP’s network for being too pushy. FM, based on reports, behaves as if she were the major star of the network. Hence, UA was pale and had no idea what FM was going to do. 

Turned out, FM reiterated to UA not to abandon his loveteam with SP. FM advised him that he should always be seen with SP no matter what. The people who overheard FM could not help but smirked as everyone knew SP has a boyfriend (BF). BF is also a talent of the network and has powerful connections in the industry.

UA is being built up as the next drama prince of the network. In fact, he is already being compared with a charming drama actor of the rival station. Although he did not pass the reality talent shows he auditioned for before, UA got noticed and was given a break in an acclaimed movie of the film outfit of the network. 

His boyish features can be deceiving because more than his looks, UA has the talent to make it in the business, which, the winners of the reality searches he joined do not have. The latest news is that UA already agreed to show more skin in an upcoming major fashion event. He does have the abs to show for it, after all.

The network of Closeted Actor (CA) is building him up as a prime leading man, but his behavior runs contrary to this image. While the other young hunks of the network are beset with rumors of being brawl-savvy or playboys, CA has always been bugged by talks of his other persuasion. Doubts on his sexual preference have long existed years before his formal entry in showbiz.

One story is that CA had a thing going on with a flight attendant (FA) when he was just starting out in the business. CA met FA in one of the acting workshops sponsored by his network. So they hit it off. When they started dating, CA was resolute in keeping up with his straight image.

Then, the network deemed it was time for CA to have a screen partner and tapped an upcoming actress (UA) for him. Although UA had the looks, the talent, and the fan base, the network still built her career around her partnership with CA. The physical features of CA and UA complemented each other, and the network saw the successful chemistry of the two.

Meanwhile, just like that in a tragic story, CA and FA parted ways. FA sensed something was wrong and felt relieved with the split up. FA was quite uncomfortable dating someone stuck in a closet.

Nonetheless, CA continued to date other men at the risk of ruining the image his network has invested in him. UA (who might have had a strong gaydar) sensed CA has his “other life.” Hence, no matter how much pressure the fans or the network put on them, it was just impossible for CA and UA to fall in love for real, thus, the end of their love team was inevitable.

The network saw the potential of UA to be paired with other actors. Her movie with a hunk actor did well at the box office, and showed that she could have a career without being tied to a constant screen partner. 

As for CA, he is being rumored to be courting another upcoming young actress (YA). People who know of CA cannot help but think of this new story as another publicity stunt to cover up the truth behind his real persona.

Failing to Catch The Manager

Businesswoman turned talent manager (BW) volunteered to take care of the surprise party being prepared by a major publication for one of her talents (HT). Naturally, certain expectations will arise when someone volunteers for an event like this. The publication was going to honor HT for winning in a big contest it sponsored. The venue had to be as big as the prestige of the award. After all, this winning was not the first recognition for HT. Any accolade won by a talent usually reflects the kind of handling a manager does. In this case, BW was not going to scrimp for HT. BW confidently chose an expensive restaurant for the party.

When the guests came, BW was there and welcomed them. She invited the guests to partake of the food and drinks, and everyone was happy with the accommodation shown by BW. But when the time came for bill payment, BW was nowhere to be found. To their regret, they found out that BW left ahead. Did BW leave early so she would not be egged on to share in the bill even if the party was for her talent  anyway? BW is not known to be a miser but she sure is a very astute businesswoman.

Sometime ago, media personality (MP) was dispatched to cover a tragedy in a province. A prominent public official (PO) of the region apparently got smitten with MP that PO started giving him the exclusives. PO accompanied MP to far-flung places in his region that were hit hardest by the calamity. While other media personnel were holed up in electricity-less hotels, PO invited MP and his crew to his residence. Throughout the coverage, the staff and media from other networks noticed that PO was becoming fond of MP. Other than providing comfortable dwellings, PO also made sure food was delivered to MP and his crew. During their stay at the residence of PO, MP and PO would stay up late talking. Some staff who witnessed the nightly talks said that it lasted until early morning. After the grueling coverage, MP was granted a week’s vacation by his network. But instead of spending his vacation elsewhere, MP returned to the residence of PO.

Nothing would have been noticed except that when MP returned to work after a week, his co-workers noticed he had new gadgets like a laptop, a camera, and clothes. Naturally, rumours  spread quickly. The story alleged that MP and PO had an affair and that the new stuff were given by PO. Furthermore, PO came over to Manila and took MP shopping. The newsroom could not risk such rumors that can ruin the credibility of the network. MP returned the gifts, except for the clothes. However, the department conducted its investigation. Consequently, MP was suspended for two months for the alleged misbehavior. When PO learned of the what happened to MP, he called a powerful female executive (FE) of the network. Soon after, MP's suspension period was shortened, thus overturning the decision of the head of the department (HD).

The story of MP did not end there. After the PO incident, FE ordered that MP would be the one to cover all the activities related to her office. Soon, people began to notice the extra closeness between FE and MP. MP was always around FE's out-of-town coverages and events. While in a province, people saw them come out of a hotel room together, which fueled tonques wagging. FE even asked HD to take it easy on MP. (HD has since left the network and if the interference of the management in disciplining one of its employees is connected to HD’s resignation, people can only speculate.) Since that time, MP seemed to be “untouchable” in the department. Stories about alleged trysts between PO and MP are talked about in hush-hush. MP would be seen allegedly leaving the house of PO early in the morning. Some stories are also circulating, such as MP allegedly receiving certain freebies, such as  the use of vehicle granted only to senior members and a sizable allowance coming from the office of FE.

Most often, the media make good stories, but sometimes, they can be more interesting stories themselves.

To be trusted is a great privilege, says a quote. For some people, trust is sacred. To others, it is something that can be easily and constantly broken.

It is common knowledge that it is never easy to find people in showbiz whom you can really trust, whether about life in general, or money in particular.

A young and pretty actress PA is getting the flak from her co-workers for her not-so-good reputation. Among others, she has this habit of borrowing money from her co-workers and also buying stuff like gadgets and bags on installment basis, then fails to pay on time. PA once bought, again on installment, a few cellfone gadgets from a dancer, but to this day never got to pay for them. The dancer is now in trouble because she will have to pay for all those cellfone units she got from her supplier who is now running after her.

And not only that, PA is quite creative, too..or shall we say, shrewed (?) when it comes to "buying" designer bags. This happens whenever there are events that she has to attend to. She will get this bag from her seller, then use it for the event, have pictures taken with it, then return same bag to the seller and says she changed her mind and will no longer buy. Real clever, yeah? Your thoughts?

Who is PA? Is she so lacking of projects that she has to resort to this bad practice, leaving her poor victims helpless and defenseless?

Coping with her Mood Swings

The working relationship of the production people of a new show towards one of their talents (OT) is far from ideal. OT has mood swings and doesn't hesitate to show them to anyone.  But the other side of these mood swings manifests once she is already with the rest of the talents of the show who are more senior than her. As if on cue, she becomes approachable,  pleasant and smiling. Of course this attitude does not sit well with the staff.

Many notice that this once shy and meek girl who won as runner-up in this network's talent search years ago, has now suddenly become swell-headed. The big change could probably be her status, having been a big international  star at some point in her young career.

Perhaps, this little, big girl should realize that with fame comes responsibility. As Oprah herself said, " If you come to fame not understanding who you are, it will define who you are."

Just Engaging in Some Recreation

When international star (IS) spent time filming in the country, only a handful recognized him. Although he has done a number of movies, he was not yet that popular among the locals. Even if the movies in which he played supporting roles were familiar, his name and face did not register much recall. Hence, he was able to visit some places without being mobbed or followed. For most residents, IS was just another foreigner who had some business in the country.

While staying at his hotel, however, his behavior did not escape some onlookers. After a time, IS was slowly being recognized and his actions being noticed. Almost every night, he would go on a night-clubbing, then would return to his room with different women. IS must have really enjoyed his stay here. He continued going out despite having been in a fight in a pub in another country prior to him coming over. At any rate, this story of him bringing in women should have reached the foreign press. Despite the image of IS and the fact that he does his own stunts, the foreign media has always badgered IS with questions regarding his sexuality. In his interviews, IS already denied being gay in an imposing manner.

After he left, one of his movies was shown. IS played a pivotal role in that hit movie. The same box office results are expected for the movie he filmed here. Chances are, if IS visits Manila again, he will no longer experience the anonymity he once had, and the "extra curricular/s" that go with it.

Letter from a Reader: Dear Sarah

Dear Sarah,

I watched your show Live here in CA few hours ago. It was very evident that you’re very over-protected and dependent on your parents even at 24 years old. It is very disturbing to watch how your Mom was acting like God knowing His will for you in all things. Gerald was the only brave, sincere, loving and mature man to pay respect to your parents and court you at home, perhaps not as often as your parents wished, but after him, I doubt it if there be another braver soul to face them for you.

The least your parents could say were some kind words of appreciation for his efforts and not judge him on television . Ge always had good words for you and your family during his interviews, it says much of his breeding. I admire you as a performer but I ended up admiring Ge more for his maturity and sincerity. I am a mother of a 19 y/o and raised her God-fearing and with values as well. But I let her learn her lessons on her own, even if I wanted to dictate to her what her decision should be at a particular moment. I trust and give her a chance, and so far, she’s not failed me.

More than half of your lifetime, you’ve already provided, obeyed and shown love to your family, when will you allow yourself to be loved. Being in love is such a wonderful and fulfilling experience in life, and you don’t know when it comes, you learn so much from it, and there’s no such thing as a perfect man that he won’t ever hurt you. For your discernment, I beg you to seek the advise and wisdom from other people like Ms Judy Ann, Sharon, Ms Angeli Valenciano or any other older mentor outside your family that have personally experienced love and lived a happy family life in show biz. You can even ask the guidance of a priest. Your parents are somehow seeing Ge as a competition for your love and attention, that's why they can’t let go. Ge even said in one of his interviews “to understand your Mom bec you’re their baby”.

You have accomplished and done a lot in your career at a very short 10 years. You’re such a great performer, actress, host, endorser and I admire you. But you being in that spotlight, has shown us that at 24, you’re not consistent with your actions and words, afraid to speak on your own convictions especially around your folks. You’re trying so hard to be that perfect image but first you have to be true to yourself, to your own feelings, and views in life ( and not bec your parents said so), then only you can be true to others, to your fans, to your friends, to the man you’ll love someday.

God gave us this beautiful life to enjoy, He also authored love itself and created our hearts to feel such wonderful emotions, without losing our souls. Your parents being so traditionalists wanting you to be courted at home only and not through texts seems out of touch with reality and with the times. Of course, Ge should court you in your house, but they must also allow you to go on dates still with some guidelines because it would be nice to go on a dinner or a movie or just stroll and get to know each other. Besides, this is your chance to experience new things in life that you’ve missed out on. It doesn’t mean you’re going to do the “wrong thing” which parents are afraid of, but with proper discussion about saving your purity/ chastity until marriage, it can be done.

Just look at Nikki Gil and Toni Gonzaga, their respective boyfriends know and respect their boundaries, and it’s admirable and achievable. Texting and calling on cellfone are the ways to communicate now, what are your parents thinking? As much as you’re wanting to to tell your parents that you’d be obedient and try to please them, the episode with them last nite showed how very strict and overprotective they are of you, and that was very evident and made a lot of us very sad for you . Like Ge said, time lost will never be found again, live life, do the things you want to do, say the things you want to say, ( I don’t think he implied be rebellious to your parents and do whatever you like), take risks, be not afraid, trust God and those you love. Enjoy life, there’s more to life than just lots of career, popularity, awards, good family image, ( there’s no such thing as a perfect family even if you're intact), You’ve given so much to your family, to your fans, to your bosses and management. It's time to give time to yourself and what matters most to you.

My heart aches for Ge, he’s matured and appreciates all that he’s learned from knowing you and he might not be the intellectual man that your parents wished for, but it’s very evident he is the more emotionally matured of the two of you. The spiritual aspect is something that the two of you together can grow into and it’ll even be more fruitful .

Sarah, I am in my late 40′s and I’ve never followed a love story like yours and Ge. It reminds me of Sharon Cuneta’s days with Gabby, Richard, and made us relive our hopeless romantic days in our college years when we're in love ourselves. I believe that your team up with Ge was the most genuine so far out of all of them, bec it blossomed after the movie was over. You didn’t really need each other’s help to promote something, and that you each on your own have names established already. That’s why it was very clear and sincere to all of us when Ge started courting you.

Forgive me Sarah for giving you my unsolicited views but I hope this gets to you. Other people will say very nice words to comfort you but you need to know that this is how we see it from the fans point of view , and my intention is for you to learn there are well meaning people out there that truly care for you, your growth as a young, confident, woman with conviction.

Sarah, you and Ge are in my prayers as well as your parents, and the many fans out there who are a bit disillusioned like me, may God’s holy will be done!

The production department of a major network is abuzz with talk re the latest on the network's prized star, PS. PS had a recent confrontation with a relative and the argument had left her hurt and confused. She wanted to unleash and cool it off and decided to go to the place of her special male friend MF. It was her first time to have done so.

A day later, her relative found PS. They talked, settled peacefully and finally went home. PS resumed work as if nothing happened. But not without the staff talking.

People were asking themselves what really happened when she spent the night with MF? Was it just an innocent sleepover? Or had she finally made a pact with MF?

The Singing Princess' Saga Continues

A few weeks ago, young singer (YS) and cute actor (CA) made everyone smile because the fans felt that something real was finally happening between them. YS has always lived a sheltered life and her parents have kept her well-guarded. However, this arrangement would have been okay if YS were still in her teens but she is almost a quarter of a century old. YS even wished for freedom and people hoped it would be granted. Sometime ago, CA showed that he was up to the challenge of courting YS by visiting her at her home, like a true gentleman should.

Unfortunately, the guardians of YS are not so keen on CA, and this stand was strengthened all the more by stories circulating around regarding CA's secretly flirting with other girls. Another story allegedly pointed to YS and CA as already having a secret relationship. Sensing the dangers involved, the camp of YS resolved that there would no longer be a third movie for the both of them. The possibility of YS's falling more deeply in love with CA in the course of the shooting is so great, and that's something they can't afford to risk for anything.

But by a sudden twist, CA seemed to have lost zeal in pursuing YS. His camp said CA only succumbed to the pressure of his network and her management to attend YS big event. CA did not feel like showing up due to his frustration as he felt that YS did not fight for their relationship.

Some viewers who were at the event claimed that CA seemed to be not at par with the giddiness shown by YS towards him. They thought that CA was stiff and seemed annoyed when YS poked fun at his responses. They even felt that something was not right and that the “kilig” factor was superficial.

Nonetheless, the fans were ecstatic to see them together. The saddest part to this saga could have been CA's confession to YS that he was already staying away because he could no longer handle the situation they were put into. After this private farewell, YS burst into tears.

But no matter how small the chances, all is not lost though. Heard from the grapevine that both YS and CA will iron out the conflict soon.

Anyway, whatever they decide on, it is hoped that everyone should respect their decision (including their rabid fans who will argue with reporters who often write about the pitfalls of their relationship)

Will fairy godmother finally grant the desires of the hearts of these two star-crossed lovers? The days ahead will reveal the future of this much-talked about love story of the Princess and her Prince Charming. Will the Princess shed tears of joy this time?

Sorry, We’re Not Buying

Media Executive (ME) instructed a member of her staff (HS) to present a marketing proposal for a high-end automobile brand. In exchange for featuring the brand in its various magazines, ME requested for a car. HS did her part and delivered what was expected. However, the automobile company rejected the offer. ME got irked when she heard the explanation and rejection of HS. ME reprimanded HS and berated the staff for not doing the work properly.

Perhaps feeling slighted by the rejection, ME just wouldn't budge. She did the unexpected and decided to do the presentation herself and again, requested for the ex-deal. Sadly, the car company was firm in its decision and declined the offer the second time around. ME left very disappointed and embarrassed. As the head of the company, it is not in her job description to do what she did for she has a staff to take care of such matters. And yet, even she got rejected. Certainly, the act only made ME look cheap and desperate.

Well, at least, ME gave it a shot. However, getting mad at the staff was uncalled for. Did not ME realize that the automobile company might still be trying to re-establish itself after it closed shop some years ago? Hence, exchanging one of their cars for ad placements did not seem like a sound investment at that point.
