Park Seo Joon’s agency has issued a brief statement regarding the dating rumors surrounding the actor.
On June 20, one media outlet reported that according to industry insiders, Park Seo Joon is currently in a relationship with singer and YouTuber xooos (Kim Soo Yeon). According to the report, the two have already introduced each other to their close friends and often enjoy dates just like any other couple.
In response to the report, Park Seo Joon’s agency Awesome ENT stated, “It is difficult to confirm facts related to our artist’s personal life. We’re sorry. Please kindly understand.” xooos’s agency WAVY similarly commented, “It is difficult to confirm.”
Currently, Park Seo Joon is awaiting the premieres of his upcoming movies “Concrete Utopia” and “The Marvels.”
xooos was born in 1994 and is a singer and a YouTuber with over 1,5 million subscribers. She made her acting debut in the 2015 KBS2 drama “The Producers” and also participated in the idol survival show “MIXNINE” in 2017.

Thanks to his efficient management team, the career of Young Actor (YA) was saved from a scandal. As soon as rumors started to sprout the team was quick to downplay the incident. At that time, the network had invested much in YA and was already groomed to be a force in their stable of talents. Rather than get rid of YA, the team gave him an opportunity and the succeeding projects ensured his positive image.
Attractive Actress (AA) has been in the business for a time but has yet to reach full stardom. Once in a while, AA’s name gets in the news for her dates, who are coincidentally hunk celebrities. She also has projects and supportive management. However, the paths of YA and AA seem to be not in the same direction. Their public images are very different.
Meanwhile, the grapevine is abuzz that the two personalities are dating. If the two were indeed dating and seen in public accidentally, fans might not be ready. Given that fans are possessive, they should be ready for the bashing that might follow their clandestine activities.

Pressure Dating

Sightings of Male Performer (MP) and Female Celebrity (FC) have been downplayed to not affect their reputation. Despite MP and FC being both single, seeing them together in public could lead to rumors. Subsequently, rumors will lead to speculations that could make some of their followers question their idols as well as result in bashing.
Over the past months, MP and FC have denied they are more than colleagues. Both are into entertaining fans, who have followed them as their acts are known to touch hearts. Still, anything other than work linking the two is quickly quashed by their respective management teams.
However, if actions were indicators, could seeing them together in a place outside the metro be the smoke that comes from fire? Allegedly, MP and FC were seen chilling together. Fans were excited to see them and requests for photos were unavoidable. Instead of shooing away fans, restrictions were imposed on taking photos with the two. Only individual photos of the two were allowed. Thus, a fan can only be photographed with either MP or FC, not with both.
Perhaps, the pressure of celebrity status has reared its ugly head to the point that mere dates of talents have to be guarded. Will MP and FC come out as a couple soon or will they nip in the bud as early as now a possible fruitful partnership?
