Pricey Decision

When Wealthy Patron (WP) started a relationship with a Pretty Actress (PA), he made sure her family would be happy with him. WP allegedly sponsored the construction of a new home for PA’s family and provided for their transportation needs. PA’s family were happy despite knowing that their child was one of the women of WP. Elders stressed on PA that she should stick it out with someone from whom she can reap benefits.
Everything was going well until WP heard about a New Man (NM) making his presence felt in the life of PA. Sensing something was going on, WP stopped his sponsorship of the house and transportation services of PA’s family. Communication lines were cut as well. The family became upset with the distancing of WP.
With the pandemic going on, PA felt that her finances will not last long with WP out of her life. Offers were scarce as projects were keen on casting talents, scrutinizing even their personal connections. PA then reached out to a Former Benefactor (FB), but he rejected her and said he did not want anyone’s ‘leftovers.’
Meanwhile, NM assured PA that he’d be around if she needs financial help. Although he might not be as rich as her previous sponsors, NM has a stable source of income that has survived the pandemic.

Accomplished Celebrity (AC) and Her Partner (HP) are considered successful in their careers. AC has worked hard to reach her status, which is similar to what HP has attained. Over the years of their relationship, both have undergone moments that tested their relationship. Some years ago, they experienced financial issues, but such problems made them stronger to achieve their goals. Even if the difficulty added pressure to their relationship, they did not give up on each other. Hard work paid off and their friends say they have the best the world has to offer now.
However, one area has bothered AC and she confided to a friend. Although HP is hot, intimacy is an issue. Whenever AC would give hints, HP would often excuse himself and tell AC to focus on her work. HP has no choice but to follow. During rare occasions when they agree, they had to resort to watching porn to get him on the go. Finally, HP confessed that he has problems in the physical part of their relationship. Out of her love, AC expanded her understanding.
Despite the intimacy issue, HP is very caring, loving, and supportive. Moreover, he is loyal and does not have a secret third party that makes him seemed aloof to AC when it comes to bedroom matters.

Preliminary Hold Departure Order Requested to be Issued Against Tony Labrusca

The camp of the woman-complainant in the two cases of Aggravated Acts of Lasciviousness filed an application for Hold Departure Order (HDO) against popular actor Tony Labrusca on October 15, 2021.
Through her lawyer, Atty. Regie Tongol, the complaint cited in the Motion that Labrusca was a no-show in the August 4, 2021 hearing, but was seen partying with several Philippine personalities a few days after and then flew off to the U.S. Atty. Tongol said ‘Respondent Labrusca’s refusal to attend the August 04, 2021 preliminary investigation clearly shows his indication that he does not respect the processes of the Honorable Office, much more, of the country. It further reflects his blatant disregard of the justice system in the Philippines just because he is a model and actor with a foreign passport’.
The motion showed several IG posts of Labrusca showing that he was en route to the U.S. and partying there. Atty. Tongol equated these actions of Labrusca to ‘a high probability to evade arrest, to be a flight risk, and that he has enough resources to depart the country at his whim’. He further stated that ‘Respondent is facing a serious crime against one of the country’s citizens and he should not be allowed to get away with it with impunity just because of his fame and fortune’.
According to him, given that the cases are awaiting decision of the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office headed by City Prosecutor Dindo G. Venturanza, the cases would already be forthcoming and ‘The respondent should not be allowed to evade arrest by easily flying off at a moment’s notice as he had already done’.
The case was first assigned to be investigated by Assistant Prosecutor Victor Aguba. However, he was appointed recently as an RTC judge and the resolution of the case is now with Assistant Prosecutor Marc Jeremiah Garcia.

A woman has died and a man has been injured after actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun on a New Mexico film set for the 19th Century western Rust.
Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot while working on the set as director of photography. She was flown to hospital by helicopter but died of her injuries.
The man, 48-year-old director Joel Souza, was taken from the scene at Bonanza Creek Ranch by ambulance.
Police said they were investigating and that no charges had been filed.
A spokesman for Mr Baldwin, best known for his role as Jack Donaghy on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock and for his portrayal of Donald Trump on sketch show Saturday Night Live, said the incident had involved the misfiring of a prop gun with blanks.
In a statement to AFP news agency, a Santa Fe sheriff spokesman said Mr Baldwin had spoken to detectives.
"He came in voluntarily and he left the building after he finished his interviews," the spokesman said.
Police are trying to establish what type of projectile left the prop gun and how. Mr Baldwin was seen outside the sheriff's office in tears, local media reported.
The actor is a co-producer of the film and plays its namesake, an outlaw whose 13-year-old grandson is convicted of manslaughter.
The eldest of four brothers, all actors, Mr Baldwin has starred in numerous TV and film roles since the 1980s.
Ms Hutchins was from Ukraine and grew up on a Soviet military base in the Arctic Circle, according to her personal website. She studied journalism in Kyiv, and film in Los Angeles, and was named a "rising star" by the American Cinematographer magazine in 2019.
She was the director of photography for the 2020 action film Archenemy, directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer.
"I'm so sad about losing Halyna. And so infuriated that this could happen on a set," Mr Mortimer said in a tweet.
In a statement, the International Cinematographer's Guild said Ms Hutchins' death was "devastating news" and "a terrible loss".
"The details are unclear at this moment, but we are working to learn more, and we support a full investigation into this tragic event," said guild president John Lindley and executive director Rebecca Rhine.
Police say sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Bonanza Creek Ranch, a popular filming location, at around 13:50 local time (19:50 GMT) after receiving an emergency call about a shooting on the set of Rust.
Incidents such as Thursday's fatal shooting on the Rust film set are extremely rare, but not unheard of.
Real firearms are often used in filming, and are loaded with blanks - cartridges that create a flash and a bang without discharging a projectile.
In 1993, Brandon Lee - the 28-year-old son of the late martial-arts star Bruce Lee - died on set after being accidentally shot with a prop gun while filming a death scene for the film The Crow.
It was later determined that the gun used had earlier fired a round that caused a cartridge to become lodged in the barrel. When blank rounds were later fired, the cartridge was dislodged and released.
Responding to Thursday's news, Brandon Lee's sister Shannon tweeted: "Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on 'Rust'. No-one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period."

The Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino named on Thursday the winners of the 44th edition of the prestigious Gawad Urian.
Aside from the traditional awards, the organization also recognized the best films and thespians of the past decade.
Acclaimed filmmaker Lav Diaz was, meanwhile, given Natatanging Gawad Urian, or the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Actor Joshua Garcia was speechless momentarily when asked about his reaction to a recent interview of actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi who admitted exchanging messages with him.
During the virtual media conference of his upcoming series “Viral Scandal”, Garcia appeared to be caught off guard when quizzed about Alawi, who has a crush on him.
“Kapag may humahanga sa 'kin, nakakadagdag ng confidence 'yun para sa lalaki,” said Garcia, who was speechless anew for several seconds. “Di ko alam reaction ko,” the actor added.
Garcia then thanked the popular vlogger, admitting that he saw the interview of Alawi with Ogie Diaz.
“Siyempre thank you kasi na-appreciate 'yung work kong ginagawa, 'yung pag-arte. Base sa narinig ko, na-appreciate niya 'yung acting, so thankful. Very thankful ako as an actor. Maraming salamat,” he quipped.
“I'm open maging kaibigan, okay lang sa 'kin,” Garcia continued.
Last week, Alawi admitted to Diaz about exchanging messages with the actor on social media.
“Cute 'yung mukha at saka mabait siya. Nakita ko para family-oriented. Pero hindi ko masabi kasi 'di ko pa siya nami-meet personally,” Alawi said.
But the 24-year-old vlogger revealed sending messages to Garcia through DM.
According to her, they do not have each other's phone number. “Hindi pa naman kami ganoong level,” she said.
Diaz went on to ask her about the possibility of Garcia pursuing her in the future.
“Ay itanong nyo na lang siya... Gusto ko kasing makilala muna siya bago ko kurutin 'yung sarili ko,” the social media influencer said.
In August, Alawi was completely shocked when Garcia popped up on her screen while watching several video greetings for her second anniversary as a content creator on YouTube.
It was Ivana’s sister Mona who revealed that her "ate" has a crush on the actor.
“My message for you is to continue to inspire and entertain people because you're doing an excellent job,” Garcia told Alawi.
The actor even teased her to follow him on Instagram to which the actress answered enthusiastically: “I follow you!”
Garcia is set to star on “Viral Scandal” with Charlie Dizon. It will start airing on November 15 on Kapamilya Channel (cable), Kapamilya Online Live (free live-streaming), iWant TFC (on-demand streaming), and A2Z Channel 11 (free and digital TV in Mega Manila).
