Whenever Versatile Actress (VA) and Resourceful Beau (RB) go on break, rumors of who pays for the trip reach the grapevine. Allegedly, VA usually foots the bill, as she does earn more than RB and has a stable career. VA already anticipates something to happen, and thus, she prepares for the surprise.
One time, VA and RB booked a hotel room. Prior to their arrival, Secret Friend (SF) had already arrived and stayed in the room next to theirs. Meanwhile, RB continued with his routine of keeping in shape even while on vacation. VA also noticed that RB disappeared every night. RB likes to explore what their location has to offer and sometimes, he checks out the red-light district, among others.
Thus, when RB stepped out of their room, VA asked where he was going and he replied he wanted fresh air. VA saw nothing wrong with that and fell asleep, not knowing when he returned. Come morning, VA saw SF step out of the next room. She asked RB if he knew he was staying at the same hotel as well. RB said he did. VA refrained from asking more questions, as she had seen SF come out of RB’s bedroom at his home. RB introduced him as a friend.
During check out, VA was shocked to see that SF’s bill was included in their statement. RB said he lost a bet to SF, and would pay VA later. Rather than make a scene at the desk, VA paid the amount.

A showbiz career often changes one’s life, not just financially, but socially as well. When Amiable Actor (AA) started to build a successful career, he probably had no idea of the effect his triumphs would have on his family. AA always had Understanding Wife (UW) behind his career. UW stayed away from the limelight to ensure AA would have his moments.
The projects came one after the other. The time spent for work and other matters affected AA’s married life. Rumors of AA’s sweet treatment towards his co-workers did not escape UW. She remained stoic despite stories that AA would visit a certain female colleague at her home. Later on, someone spotted another actress step out of AA’s room during a shooting at a resort. UW confronted AA about the rumors, but he denied them. UW asked AA to quit showbiz for the sake of their family, but he refused.
Subsequently, the relationship of AA and UW turned cold and the fights came often. They reached the point of staying together for the sake of their kids. Although together in one house, AA and UW are already separated. Meanwhile, UW found a possible love interest and AA was fine with it, as they have fallen out of love. The decision is to stay together until they are ready to admit their separate lives to their youngest. However, dating other people will have to be done discreetly and tell the public that they are still together.
